2nd time growing this strain. Was the best of the bunch last harvest under a cheap 300W LED drawing ~100W from the wall yet still gave me over 4oz Hoping under this brand new Spider Farmer SF-4000 I'll get much more. Just fed plain water in week 1.

She started out tiny but definitely surprised me halfway through. She doesn't really smell as a plant but in the jars and paper bags, she smells like berries and watermelons. Only been a week since I dried her in the fridge but I can't wait so I'm going to try to smoke some of her tonight. I also had to harvest partially as some of the lower buds are not quite ready yet which means I'm not done yet as of now. Will update more soon.

The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds. Day 28 from sprout, these girls are looking healthy and loving life...as far as I can tell. Topped them back on Monday 1-22 and then did my first top dressing today with some gaia green all purpose 4-4-4. some glacial rock dust and alittle mineralized phosphorus. Been staying at 6.5ph for all waterings

So that’s that , the GSC is done , clipped and drying . I’ve already chopped up about a half oz and it’s soo tasty I’ll leave it alone now to dry and cure . I tried the 48 hours of dark before harvest and fed her only water the last week or so . A successful run from fast buds genetics I’ll end up with about 30 oz in a 4x4 thanks largely to this GSC that will end up around 12oz when she’s bagged .

It is the end of week 7. Nice development on both plants, love that the right one has finally caught up in height, they will probably be harvested a few weeks apart. Need to start looking into getting a drying tent in order since I won't be able to chop both at the same time. Think I started to develop a little nutrient burn on the tips, but will continue on with what I am doing as far as nutrients.

Day 57. Girls okeish except damaged leaves by thrips and by my sprays with most probably too much neem oil in it. Lady bugs all over plants, so i think i should beat problem easy till first heavy flowering training session... By book its 50 bugs vs one LadyBug a day, i imagine that they will start to starve like tomorrow latest ;))) Day 62. Yesterday got more help to fight thrips and ordered new variety of natural predators to keep on ... With such dense canopy fight is very hard, in smaller tent all is sorted, in this one i still see damaged leaves and sometimes thrips still .... Anyway, even with those issues they are really nice girls, will do heavy training on Tuesday or Wednesday ... Idea is to do hard defoliation and then introduce new army of predators, i will loose some during training 4 sure... I still see lady bugs and and i released larvae already, will give them 4 more days to get hungry ;))) Happy Growing !!!

She is completely done with her stretch, has starting stacking her bud sights and started to produce noticable trichomes. Giving her nothing but RSO, tiger bloom, black strap molasses and CalMag. Possibly add Bestie BloomZ this coming week. Still have along way to go, but definitely be worth it. 🔥 🎄 💕

Day 68 - 21/11/23 OG Kush is doing her thing nicely! Trichomes are looking 50% cloudy with some amber domes peaking. She's showing me a bunch of different colours!! every other nug has a different look, different hue! Once the medium dries up a little more, Im gonna start the flush. it's a waiting game now 23/11/23 A lot more cloudy trichomes today. OG Kush was flushed until substantial runoff. We're getting close!

Would grow again. Top Tier strain. Very high yield but mainlining caused a lot of sugar leafs. It took some time to hand trim two plants, but it was worth the time and it will create excellent extraction. All buds are good and i would say a and b tier only. No larf Greenhouse op
