Water week 5/1

Plants are picking up weight. It’s a heavy eater but she is finicky. This was my first run to get a great growing plant and I found one. Cloned it and I’ve potted it already. I will start a new blog to capture how the plant really grows.

Everyone got transplanted yesterday! They've been hardening off outside for almost a week. The got some Fish Emulsion a couple days ago. One night it got down to 38F, even though the weather said it would only get down to 50F! So I'm very grateful that they're so resilient. They're not showing much transplant stress so that's good. I watered in some lime when i transplanted. I put them in with my tomatoes that I need to stake. I started putting down seaweed mulch which hopefully I will finish tomorrow. Overall a good week and it feels good to have them in the ground!

Inicios penúltima semana Disminuí un poco la cantidad de riego de 600ml/dia a 500ml. pensando que beberian menos pero me quedé corto y volví a regar como venia haciendo hasta final de semana que regué solo con agua de osmosis. La próxima semana todo riego con solo agua y así hago un lavado suavecito. para cosecharlas a los 60- 63 dias.

Week 3 Flower After 21 days she's no longer stretching, but now concentrating on her flowers. She's already starting to show trichomes later on in the week too. Her base nutrients were gradually changed to the above, at a 1:2:3 G:M:B ratio. Now she's finished her stretch, silicon was decreased slightly and will be stopped by day 28. A few leaves were plucked here and there, to stop a few tops from being shaded. I'm happy with her health and growth in this early stage of flower. Now I'm looking forward to seeing her bulk up and also what smells she gives off. I added a little slo mo video on the end too 😉 Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺

This is the day 21 of flowering. I Will defoliate the plants today. This is my First diary, so i dont have pics of veg stage. The OGs and Gorillas ghosts are Very different. The OGs Veg feed was 0.8 EC on first weeks, then 1.0. Now on flowering they feed 1.1. Very low. The gorillas liked 1.3 EC on Veg and now they are feeding 2.0/2.2. I aways mensure de entrance feed and the runoff of each one. I expent almost 90 days on Veg becouse the GG delay a little at the beginning. My mistakes, a little overwatering and low feed. I underfeed the plants on First week of flowering to finish the nitrogen on substrate, so the bigest GG show calcium Def signs (you can see on imagens). But now is solved, they are health green again. Soon i Will post New pics.

A little defoliation in the under canopy. And, a few extra big fan leaves. Nothing too much this week. Keeping a close eye on the trichomes and I'm seeing they're only a couple of days away from the start of harvest. I'll be checking each of the stem individually, as always, before pulling.

Top quality strain from one of Amsterdam’s most reputable seed banks, I was lucky enough to actually visit the physical store back in 2019 and acquired the seeds myself which added to the joy of the whole grow! 💚

Week 7 of flower so 1-2weeks left for these girls and they looking 10/10 and smelling 100/10 my gosh! 🙌

We’re back! 💨 Finally was able to get some picks and do an update on these girls. Pushed them 11 weeks into flowering and we cut them down. Took 4 days for me to trim it all! She’s drying in my rack now so I will update the harvest info shortly. I pulled 1 of these already about a month ago that I was growing alongside my peyote cookies and it was some decent buds, not spectacular at first but after a few weeks cutting its coming along better. Ended up with about 11 oz off that one girl and we cut her at the 9 week flowering mark and she had about 2 weeks less veg time as well. So we pushed these 2 girls to the extreme the other way(partially because I just didn’t have the time to cut them…lol) and hopefully we will get some more intense highs from it. I kinda just let these girls do their own thing and really only bent them down over my screen once and tucked a little to fill the screen but other then that she was just blowing up all over and I had a hard time actually containing these 2 girls In my 4’x8’ tent. We also got a good heat wave again that pushed my temps way up in the 10th week of flowering and these girls grew closer to my light then I wanted or could keep from happening. Lol so we got some major foxtails in the center of my tent but we still ended up with some huge buds. Cheers 💨

I am on so many learning curves right now with this grow and keeping diaries. It is a trip and I'm loving the journey. This Gorilla Glue is showing signs of the end of life and milky trichomes. I thought she'd be ready second but she's in the lead for harvest of the three. Can't wait to see what next week brings!

The Slurricane IX is a beast of a plant to grow, the growth is quick and quite bushy. I would advise to train these plants SCROG..or something.. the stretch is just crazy..im gona say prepare for a 200% + stretch. Thy will easily get out of of control if not managed well. Pest resistance is good, i did not have any bug problems, but i did have a small WPM issue, but it was very crowded in there. Sorted it out by defoliation and a treatment of hydrogen peroxide took care of the problem. Very thirsty plants, at there peak, 9 plants was drinking 110L a week. Very stong smelling plants. Extremely dense flowers covered in a sluricane of trichomes. Harvest of the plant is quite easy, not a very bushy cola..so its a easy trim. Overall a great genetic to grow and a beautiful plants in itself. @InHouseGenetics .. superb. Thank you guys so much for giving us the privilege to grow such amazing genetics. Keep up the great work. Hi All, The week was pretty uneventful, the plant is developing nicely. I removed a leave here and there to make sure maximum light exposure in the middle of the canopy is guaranteed. The buds stopped stretching so I’ll will stop with the boost and add the pk 13/14 to help with the fattening. Dried and smoked a few of the lowest popcorn buds and they are by all means not there, but smell and taste pretty awesome. I have also added a few pictures of the new box that I have built for the cuttings. The box was build pretty low budget, however I will still need to add a better light source as I am currently running on only 60W veg lights. Was planning to buy the Greenception GCx5solo 150W full spectrum LED, as it would fit exactly Inside the box.

Day 29 - Topped both ladies at the fifth node and removed any growth below. Growth exploded since transplant and first dose of nutrients. Day 30 - Watered both ladies with around 100ml of water. They recovered from the topping and look as healthy as can be. Very happy with progress. Day 32 - Misted both ladies. Day 33 - Watered both ladies with around 250ml each. Increased dosage slightly from last feed to see how they take it. Day 35 - Misted both ladies to keep them hydrated. Maria is doing well, showing vigorous growth. Planning to top her again next week and remove any growth below the topped nodes. Juanita has fallen behind, new growth points seem to be growing sideways. Keeping an eye on her progress, hopefully she turns out ok. Not planning to top her again until normal growth resumes, do not want to stress her out.

A couple days before chopping. Spotted budrot at 2 spots in the New 2. So almost time to cut before it get worse. The rest is doing fine, New 1 and Strawberry are gonna be the first ones to get chopped together,branches are under load and some are bending down

Today we had a lollipopping session with the "little one". I've had to give her enriched water regularly the last few days because she's been so thirsty. I'm really curious to see how she handles the training.
