Purple Haze by White Label Seeds

Regenwurm Nothing special! The seeds germinated as planned, then were immediately placed in rock wool. After 3 days in the rock wool, all the ladies were in the light. After just 2 days in the rock wool, they were directly put into 1L coco pots. The climate isn't quite perfect, but I can't get it any better for this phase. The fan runs 24/7, especially during the critical time without heat from the HID lamp, I work with CO2 bags during weeks 1-5, as I can't use direct fresh air due to the climate (0 degrees outside).

Regenwurm The environmental conditions are just like in week 1... Temperature min max = 21 degrees at night, 26 during the day. Humidity min max = 58-66%. Watered the plants every 2 days with pH 5.9. Overall, I'm satisfied with the development, as there have been no issues.

Regenwurm Changed the light to 250 watts MH. 2 out of the 6 plants showed deficiency symptoms (I think Cal/Mag) since I was watering with pure rainwater + a small amount of nutrients. Now the water for watering is half tap water and half rainwater, and since then with an EC value of 0.4, no more problems. The growth seems okay from my perspective. Since I can't work with active intake due to the outside temperatures and the low wattage of the lamp, a CO2 bag is hung above the fan. With a CO2 meter, 490 ppm was measured at the plant tips......

Regenwurm Tag 25: Repotting the 4 sisters into 11 l Air-Pots. I mixed Bio-Bizz Coco with about 20% Perlite. On the bottom of the Airpots, I added about 5 cm of clay pebbles (Plagron Euro Pebbles) for drainage and better airflow at the bottom of the pot. From 6 plants, I selected the 4 most similar and healthiest. The leaf color is already "very" green 😁, so this week I reduced the nutrient addition a bit. I will observe it this week and probably reduce it again. The girls don't need many nutrients. They are developing more like Indicas, small, round leaves, and bushy... we'll see. The temperature fluctuated between 19 degrees at night and 25 during the day. The humidity fluctuates between 45 and 55%. Today, the ladies will be topped, but that belongs in next week... so more on that then ✌🏽

Regenwurm 17.01.2021 all ladies topped. Only watered twice throughout the week and let the plants dry out. On 24.01.2021, removed all sun sails as no light was reaching the shoots. The ladies have been able to recover from the topping for 7 days. For the new shoots on the main stem, also on 24.01.2021, supercropping so everything can grow evenly. The climate is very good, no problems there. Reduced the nutrient amount of the Hesi schedule as announced last week... so 2 ml per liter... the feeding plan says 5 ml... the plant wants less, so it gets less. In a few days, it will go into flowering, next week it will be ready.

Regenwurm On 01/27/21, I sent the ladies into flowering after 5 weeks of the vegetative phase. I performed supercropping on the highest branches to achieve an even height growth. This strain has developed a lot of large leaves so far. Next week, I will do some generous defoliation for the first time to get light to all the important points. Due to the stretch in the first weeks of flowering, I decided to still use growth nutrients in the first week of flowering and switch to bloom nutrients in week 2. The temperatures are currently around 18-19 degrees at night and 23-24 degrees during the day. The humidity is relatively constant between 43 and 50%. The ladies look healthy. It's still too cold for active intake. The CO2 levels are okay as they are! Sorry for the bad pictures under the light, it will be better next week 😁

Regenwurm The water for watering is always composed as follows: 9 l rainwater + 1 l tap water. Then add the amount of Hesi nutrients as described above and afterwards adjust the pH value to 5.7-5.9. At the beginning of the week, I heavily defoliated the plants 😁. They handled it well along with the Superscropping. During the Superscropping, I damaged 2 future buds.... Fuck😞, but it will be fine.... They have grown quite a bit within 3 days + produced many new leaves. The active intake was on for the last 5 days. Since the outside temperature has dropped significantly, the intake has been off since yesterday. The humidity is constantly between 43 and 48%. One of the ladies is smaller compared to the others, so I'm raising her up now. A slight smell is spreading.... I hope the ladies grow another 20-25 cm.

Regenwurm This week, the amount of Hesi Coco fertilizer was increased to 4ml/l. The EC value is now at 1.0. I let the ladies dry out once this week and then watered them heavily with the increased amount of fertilizer (but didn't flush). The growth is limited... about 1.5 cm per day, which isn't much but it's okay if they hopefully grow a bit more for another week. Since it's still freaking cold outside, there's no active intake, just active exhaust going outside. Temperature is between 18-24 degrees. Humidity could be a bit better... but I'm not getting nervous yet. Humidity is between 38 and 45%. The first buds are starting to form, and I will soon feed them a bit more. The leaves look healthy, no signs of deficiency. The light output of the HID lamp was increased from 500 watts to 530 watts.

Regenwurm This week I increased Hesi Coco to 4ml/l. I also added PK13/14 for the first time with the minimal amount. The plants are handling it well and are developing the buds nicely. Tomorrow they will be flushed for the first time. Before that, I let them dry out completely and haven't fed them for 3 days. The temperature and humidity have been as desired throughout the week. The HID light is currently set to 550 watts, so there's more than enough light. Four days ago, I defoliated them heavily again, and the ladies are handling it well and are quickly forming new leaves. The growth is slowly picking up, and the final height is about reached. They could have grown a bit taller... after switching to flowering 12/12, the plants have grown 300%, which I think is normal for a sativa. The internodes are quite spaced out in some places; I hope they fill in.

Regenwurm This week there isn't much to tell.....what's not going well is that I took the humidifier out of the tent during the dark phase due to the humidity and replaced it with a dehumidifier. I can only set up 1 device in the tent due to lack of space, there's no room for more. This results in my humidity dropping to 34% during the day phase. I would like it to be 45%, but I can't get it right😞. The feeding is going well, no over or under-fertilization. Temperature is almost perfect.... no flush, no defoliation or anything like that this week.... the active intake has been on all week! Right now I have a pretty good feeling! After all, there are still about 30 days until Harvest Day. Peace

Regenwurm This week was a rollercoaster! After the ladies dropped to a humidity level below 30% in some areas after defoliation, I reinstalled the humidifier in the tent! Now it's at 40-45% during day and night phases, so perfect. On day 41, I increased the HID lamp's power to 600 watts. This week, I flushed the plants with a pH of 5.8 and EC of 1.1. The temperature is consistently good. The plants were also heavily defoliated for what I think is the last time to let light reach the buds. In terms of bud size, they are slightly behind the x haze, but I'm satisfied. It's starting to smell good 😁 until next week ✌️🏾

Regenwurm Everything is fine so far, the end is getting closer! One of the ladies is significantly ahead of all the others and will soon be ready for harvest. Since I'm also drying in the grow tent..... shit 😄. The climate was great this week and everything is developing as it should. The spreader of the lamp is now set to tight to bring in the autumn. The amount of nutrients is at the max level except for the base nutrient Coco, and the plants are handling it very well. Still, I have endless leaves. I hope the buds get significantly thicker. The smell is also developing strongly.

Regenwurm One of the ladies is ready! This one was flushed on day 56. Flushing with Advanced Nutrients Flawless Finish 2ml/l with rainwater. Total amount to flush is 10 l. I will repeat this in 3 days exactly the same way (time for flushing set to 8-9 days). The other 3 ladies will continue to be fed with the full nutrient amount as stated above. They definitely need another 2 weeks until harvest. Some of the tight flower buds haven't opened yet. The humidity is running at 40% day and night. The temperature at night is 17-18 degrees and during the day it's 23-25 degrees. Since I only work with rainwater and Hesi has organic components, the EC value isn't really significant.

Regenwurm The lady that was flushed on day 56 was flushed again with Flawless Finish on day 61 until the EC value was between 0.2 and 0.3 (total 30 liters for 11-liter pots). Until chopping on day 65, the lady won't get any more water. All the others are still getting the full amount. The trichomes say they're not ready yet... I think it still takes at least 10-14 days. No idea why that one plant is so much faster... The buds on the other 3 are getting thicker and are looking good. The humidity is now between 35-43% to give mold no chance. The temperature is also consistently good...

Regenwurm Lady 1 was chopped on day 68. With this plant, which is about 14 days ahead of all the others, it was noticed that she is not very productive. All the others are now at day 70. The measured days for me start with the light switch to 12/12, not at pre-flowering! That's how I explain the longer flowering time. The other ladies are gaining volume and developing well, but they still need a few days until flushing. I've got the humidity between 32 and 38 %RH now. The temperature at night is 17-18 degrees, during the day about 24 degrees. The trichomes are, as mentioned, not amber at all but about 75 % cloudy. The smell of the ladies is strong, but not extreme. I'm looking forward to testing the first buds after 2-3 weeks of curing ....✌️🏾

Regenwurm Each of the ladies was flushed with 30 liters of rainwater / Flawless Finish from Advanced Nutrients. Until the drain had an EC of 0.3. The buds are currently getting very heavy and the yield is going to be good 😍 Trichomes are mostly cloudy, not yet amber..... now it continues until Harvest Day with 16 degrees at night / 24 degrees during the day and humidity at 35% ✌️🏾

Regenwurm Tag 83 in the flowering phase. Today is Harvest Day. The ladies were flushed 10 days ago and were only watered once more with Flawless Finish during the ripening phase. All the ladies have beautifully changed their leaf colors and are getting that autumn vibe.... just the way it should be 😁. The temperatures have been adjusted down by about 2 degrees during the night phase in these last 10 days! The humidity was around 32% RH during the lighting and about 40% at night. Yesterday and today, the ladies were in complete darkness for 36 hours before the chop. I can already say, even though I didn't finish trimming the buds in one long evening, that there were a lot of leaves.... Not fun at all 😩..... since I'll be trimming for the next 2 days, I'll add the harvest week to the diary only next week! I think then I can provide reliable numbers on the results after a week of drying!

Regenwurm Germination went smoothly, 100%. Had some brief issues due to CO2 bags but removed them immediately. Growth phase was problem-free and went well... like every Sativa, sent into flowering after about 5 weeks. The stretch was as expected. Bud formation was slower than other strains. The increase in bud thickness only really happened in the last 4 weeks. A lot of nutrient consumption even though the strain actually prefers less. However, all 4 plants were relatively different in development and appearance. Smell and density are also different. The best plant was at 100 g/plant, the worst at 70.
