26.12.24: These are my 2 best plants P1 and P2 Purple Punch, they are looking great! Not sure what happened to P3. They are in early flower/ pre-flower with the pistils clearly seen on P2. I am also hoping to tie some of the branches down to help light penetration on the lower canopies. I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. I'm very excited to see them adapt and progress! ๐Ÿ˜ there are videos above with before and after of my LST process. Thanks for checking out my diary ๐Ÿƒ โœŒ๏ธ

31 Aug. I start the third week of my autoflower. The plant is growing well, but I noticed small yellow spots on the leaf tips, which seem like a mild calcium deficiency. This is probably due to the fact that so far I have been giving water with a slightly low pH, around 6, while the ideal range would be 6.5โ€“7. At the beginning, to lower the ppm of the tap water (which was around 211 ppm), I mixed it with demineralized water. This brought the ppm down to about 109โ€“140, making it harder for the plant to absorb the available calcium. Additionally, the soil I am using, Biobizz Light Mix, is lightly fertilized but does not contain enough calcium to correct this small initial deficiency. For this week, I will not add any fertilizers. I simply want to raise the pH to 6.5 and use water with higher ppm, so the plant can better absorb the nutrients already present in the soil. The lamp is positioned about 35โ€“36 cm from the plant and so far there are no burn issues. Temperatures range between 25 and 30 ยฐC depending on the day, while humidity in the room stays between 40โ€“60%. The humidifier is always on because I keep the window open, but the dehumidifier is not being used, as it is not necessary at the moment. I also have a new oscillating fan arriving to replace the current fixed one, and Iโ€™m waiting for a regulable extractor (90โ€“145 mยณ/h), which will allow me to control the air perfectly during winter if needed. This week my main goals are: Increase the water ppm without overdoing it Adjust the pH to 6.5 Keep observing the plant without adding any fertilizers Everything else seems fine and growth is regular. With these corrections, I expect the new leaves to grow healthy and free of spots. ==UPDATE 31/08== To control the calcium deficiency, I will administer an eggshell solution until I reach 300 ppm (I will boil some eggshells and administer the solution in tap water).

This week I had to Lollipop again (I know is very late and I hope I didnโ€™t stressed the plant to much). My canopy is so tick and so many overlapping leaves and buds in the center of the plant that donโ€™t receive enough light or any at all , n combination with the RH swings that I got going on (45 and 63 RH), Iโ€™m very afraid of mold. I should have did a better job at Lollipoping from day 21. Iโ€™m inexperienced grower and I didnโ€™t knew better. I decided is better to risk to shock the plant a little bit risking a reduction in yield then get mold or pests and lose it all. My 30 pin dehumidifier works great with the AC but sometimes when the AC( compressor) stops my RH jump at 62% -63%, witch I donโ€™t like . Iโ€™m trying to keep the humidity around 50% but in such a small room between the AC and Dehumidifier I got big swings in temp ( 75-82) and RH ( 45%-63%) witch is not ideal but is nothing that I can do. I played with the AC and Dehumidifier setting a lot trying to keep humidity around 50% and temp around 80 degrees and thatโ€™s the best I can. My AC is set at 82 degrees and my Dehumidifier is set at 45% RH. Also during the lights off (day time) is very hard to keep the temperature In control when outside is 110-115 degrees with my portable AC (1400BTU) in the 4x 6 closet. Is crazy but I do my best to keep temp under control. This is another rocky mistake I made is trying growing weed DWC in the middle of summer where temps are 105-115 degrees constant in a closet without centralized AC port and at second level in the building. LOL Also I think I underfed her (630 PPM TDS, PH 5.8-5.9) ) and I got a Ca deficiency witch I think is the reason my flowers developed slower then I anticipated. Hopefully Iโ€™m wrong and everything will be good. P.S. I got a little bit of calcium deficiency caused by salt buildup (to much PK boost) despite my earlier belief that is underfed. I increased the PPM from week 4 (630-640TDS) to 680 TDS) on week 5 while I kept the PK booster at 3+ml l per gallon. Slightly my PPMโ€™s was rising in my reservoir for few days until I decided that my plant canโ€™t take that much nutrients (PK). 2-3 days after I increased the TDS Iโ€™ve noticed more spots on the lower leaves with tip burns on top ( first signs of PK toxicity). One day later found spots and yellowing of the leaves on top of the plant that indicates Ca deficiency caused by salt buildup ( PK toxicity) and reversed osmosis (hope Iโ€™m not wrong). Going into week 6 I lowered the PK boost at 1.5ml / gallon and total TDS to 640 PPM. Seems like leaves damage to stop and my PPM to stay stabile at 630-640. Trying to keep PH at 5.8 max 5.9. I will post pictures of my Ca deficiency/ PK toxicity. If you guys have any suggestions please leave me a comment.

So just cruising now, last week saw alot of leg work in the defoliation dept, tidying all lower branches, keeping fan leaves to a minimum, and then aiding the scrog by tucking, pulling, anything to keep things moving in the right direction. The challenge now, as stated earlier is to bring all plants ready to flip at the same time, which is a challenge lol, but an enjoyable one. The bench mark here is the scrog, once that's ready everything else can be flipped, the trick is keeping everything else in there low. Atm 6 plants are hooked up to the Res,with another 2 to follow. Currently drinking about 40 liters every 2 to 3 days. It's amazing how much they can drink... Another tucking session, the nets almost filled now, so I'll probably Monday, depending on how it's looking. I replaced the vipra with another maxbloom and moved the vipra into my smaller tent for the Royal Gorilla grow. So far all is going well with no hiccups health wise.

Didn't stretch as much as she might have done which suits me. On target for plenty of compact buds. Taking the Shogun coco nutrient range like a champ. Only issue I've had is having to defoliate more times than I'd like.

I trusted F1 from the first moment, my old school grower friends talk a lot about only marketing etc. but here i see the very genetic good job by RQS. This work is fundamental because with the wave of American super strains, the Europeans, for the most part, have tended to import cuttings and cross-breed genetics with them trying to create something that uses American research but to be honest, confusing the waters a bit. . This work takes us back to the crossroads and the result can be seen. Very stable although there are two phenomena the rest is very similar and quite superior to the average autoflowering. Let's go beyond the average with genetic guarantees, I would say, good job. If you think we don't go beyond the average, look at these plants and look at the average, I don't know what more to tell you. Lots of resin on both, yields excellent super fast flowering. >>> Another RQS F1 Joint! https://www.royalqueenseeds.it/semi-ibridi-f1-di-cannabis-/618-orion-f1.html >>> My favorite feeding at the moment https://shop.greenhousefeeding.com/ Feeding Details >>> With the beginning of flowering, the fantastic BioBloom from Greenhouse feeding was added. The peculiarity of this fertilizer is the sprinkling in dressing mode at the beginning of the flowering phase, super really. Always follow the directions on the package and add for long blooms. >>> Music of the week Radio Nula from Slovenia https://radionula.com/ Music details >>> Many people make fun of me and say that making the plants listen to music is useless...I play it while I listen to it and my ganja and I have the same vibes. ~ FastBuds PAPAYA SHERBET Photoperiod~ Well here we go on another journey together through 'Canna-land' and this one's kinda special... forget that, it's VERY special because this is FastBuds newest surprise for the community, a FEMINIZED PHOTOPERIOD STRAIN!๐Ÿคฏ I was fortunate enough to score these seeds, of which only 1000 were available and can't wait to see what this strain can do! This Papaya Sherbet, according to FastBuds, is a hybrid with a 9-10 weeks flowering period. For a more detailed and accurate description of this strain the following from FastBuds says it best: "Combining the massive stature of Papaya (Oni Selection) with the strength and resilience of one of our best keeper cuts (Sunset Sherbet), this strain develops into a big, expansive bush adorned with numerous bud sites that later transform into a generous harvest of medium-sized buds. Papaya Sherbet flowers deliver a signature flavor of premium cannabis with subtle citrus undertones that emerge upon inhaling. During growth, her aroma makes for a sweet yet pleasantly bitter fragrance, giving you an idea of what the smoke will taste like. Notably stress-resistant, Papaya Sherbet is a great choice for growers working in challenging environments. She is very forgiving and rebounds quickly from any adversity, allowing growers the freedom to experiment with confidence that she will take everything like a champion she is. This strain embodies resilience, flavor, and abundant yields in every grow cycle." Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!๐Ÿ˜ ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40'sโ„‰). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50'sโ„‰, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Let the fun begin!๐Ÿคช๐Ÿ’š ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 8/19- Week 2 of flower is here for the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod and she is looking fantastic! Our weather has finally cooled down and the daylight has dropped to just over 13 hours now. 8/21- My daily watering campaign continues with me giving the Papaya Sherbet 5-8 gallons of well water from the garden hose. 8/23- Luckily, with it's wide node spacing, there's not a lot to do with the Papaya Sherbet at this point except to keep her watered! She has not required any thinning out and has had only a few lower leaves turn yellow, which I promptly remove. Overall, this lady is a dream to grow, requiring little to no effort or maintenance! 8/25- There's the second week of flower on the books for the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod and I have great expectations for how this fine looking lady is going to turn out, as she has exceeded all my expectations so far! Thank you for checking out my diary, your positive comments and support make it all worthwhile! ๐Ÿ’šGrowers Love!๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ™

Week 1 - 01/01 to 01/08 2021 HUGE THANKS TO @MARSHYDROLED and @VIPARSPECTRALED! New surge protectors/heavy duty timers/the good cords. The Red Poison by @Sweet_Seeds is right on track with the Dark Devil and Purple Lemonade from my other diaries. The LSD is a little behind but the genetics seems to keep it small if you get the wrong pheno. Will give it a week or so for it to really settle in with a root base before cleaning out my 5gal RootPouch pots from the last grow and getting them transferred into their final homes. I have all my seedlings under the P1500 from Vipar as my veg light for the first few weeks to a month. It's SO nice to not have a blurple anymore, the light is way better in my room and on the eyes. The new diodes had every single seedling grow more in 6 hours than it did in the first 7 days under the blurp LED. The Red Poison perked right up and threw another set of leaves in the first 6 hours under the new light just like the Dark Devil and Purple Lemonade. I noticed a bit of spotting on the Dark Devil in my other diary so I added some Hydrogen Peroxide to the spray bottle and it cleared up. All four have been getting constant spritzing from the spray bottle to keep humidity up. Excited to see how big i can get the autos under the new lights, will switch over from the Vipar to the Mars by end of week 2/mid week 3 once I transfer them and give them a day or so settle in. Thanks for stopping in! Throw down a like and/or follow so i can return the favour ๐Ÿ™Œ -- Check out my Diary of the Year 2020 entry ๐Ÿ™ https://growdiaries.com/diaries/54258-fastbuds-original-auto-sour-diesel-grow-journal-by-glazedgrow IG: @GlazedGrow CannaBuzz: @GlazedGrow
