For this week, plants are still looking healthy, followed the usual regime of normal water and nutrient feed pattern. I didn't fill the need to defoliate, so I mostly did some leaf tucking. At his stage, the two plants have filled up the box, and they still have room to grow horizontally, so a note to self to flower 2 clones a week early next grow.

Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. This method allows for gentle manipulation of the plant’s growth without causing major stress. Once we introduce the SCROG (Screen of Green) net, this training will help maximize the canopy spread. My Rainbow Melon plant is thriving! It's the second biggest in the tent right now and growing like crazy. The smell is still amazing, too – a really sweet, gas aroma that fills the whole room. I'm excited to see how big those buds get! The weather has been absolutely gorgeous this past week! We've been hitting that sweet spot of 70 degrees during the day, perfect for getting outside and soaking up some sun. Then, it cools down to a comfy 50 degrees at night, which is ideal for sleeping with the windows open. I've been loving all the fresh air! I finally got around to building that little wooden planter for my windowsill. It was a fun project, and now my regular plants have a nice new home. It really brightens up the room, and I'm thinking of adding some herbs to it soon. Maybe I'll even try growing some basil!

Buds are forming nicely. Pushing a EC of 2.4 this week and a PPFD of 60-725 on a 24 hour light cycle. Putting them in overdrive and they are loving it. Can’t wait until I harvest these two beast. GSM is 40 inches and the GH is 32 inches.

Germed Nov 11. All had sprouted when checked on Nov 14.

First week of flowering went good, had some trouble with my ph meter again, so I ordered a bunch of ph equipment and I’m gonna start fresh with everything new. Lol sick of second guessing my crappy pens. Plants are staying pretty compact so far, they have started to stretch a little bit but we have only done a few tucks on them. They are either gonna stay short or haven’t started there main stretch yet, but we are 10 days into flip so they should be stretching by now. Time will tell I guess. Lol I removed a few of the larger guard leaves up top to open up the middle of the plants more to the light. I have around 40000 lux at the top of the netting and they seem to be taking it fairly well. I’m yet to get my water chiller installed as I’ve been very busy this month and haven’t had time to finish my DIY video for it. Lol hopefully this week we will get it installed and get our water temps down a little lower. I got some more H2O2 coming soon too so can’t wait to get using that again, plants just haven’t been the same without it, but I haven’t been able to find it reasonably priced anywhere near me in a long time. I am using UC Roots now in its place to keep my res/water clean, but it’s not as good. H2O2 has extra oxygen on top of keeping things clean, so can’t wait! Well that’s it for this week, Cheers💨

Day 44 All the girls are blooming now. Today, I fertilized with bloom nutrients for the first time. Unfortunately, I’m currently traveling a lot, so there's less care. This weekend, I'll thin out the leaves again and train the branches. Day 48 Unfortunately, the girls have a small thrips problem. I will spray the plants with Coat Leaf from Biobizz over the next few days, and the issue should be resolved in about a week. Today, I also removed some leaves again to ensure more light reaches everywhere. Day 49 Today, they were watered again 2.5 liters per plant.
