Week 14 (Plant Week 14) = Flower Week 5 Humidity management became more serious, so I installed a dehumidifier. I focused on keeping the tent dry and stable, so everything runs properly (less risk of mold). Defoliation continued gradually across Week 13 into Week 14: small cuts consistently over time instead of one heavy session. Today (end of Week 14) I did the final defoliation session. This is the last major trim; I’m not planning to remove more leaves going forward. Buds now have a stronger smell, and the resin is very sticky during handling. If you want it even tighter, here’s a one-paragraph version you can use as a caption: Caption version: “Flower Week 3–4: Started gradual defoliation and canopy control. Plants kept stretching longer than expected, so I added new tie-down points and continued LST. Reduced light to ~60% after heavier trimming to reduce stress. Veg15, han crecido como 2 centímetros desde el transplante, aún no necesitan riego, desde ahora regaré cada 3~4 días, cuando el sustrato este un 80~90% seco, han estirado un poco desde que subí la distancia del LED y bajé su intensidad, mañana haré Main Lining. Veg16, hoy se torturaron las plantas con Main Lining, se cortó arriba del segundo nodo y se cortaron también las hojas de un dedo bajo el primer nodo, las plantas que tenían suficiente crecimiento de les hizo LST también, cuando se apague la luz se efectuará un spray foliar con B-52, y mañana un nuevo riego. Veg17, riego con 5.5 pH y EC 1.8~1.9, se regaron con 1.5 litros y no se obtuvo drenaje, próximo riego tendrá que ser con más cantidad de agua para obtener drenaje, el agua se calentó a 23 grados y se oxigenó antes de regar, mañana se ajustará el LST ya que siguen creciendo muy bien. Veg18, hoy solo se ajusto el LST, siguen creciendo bien. Veg19, ajuste de LST, nada más que anotar. Veg20, siguen creciendo, talvez hay que ajustar la cantidad de luz DLI. Veg21, tuve que poner una estufa para aumentar la temperatura en el indoor y bajar la intensidad del LED a un 50% para alcanzar un DLI óptimo. Hoy haré ajuste de LST y revisar la humedad del sustrato.

Beginning of week 3 of flowering and plants are slowing there stretch down. I decided to let them come up into the second screen about a foot above the first screen. Second screen holes are twice as big as the first layer screen and is primarily to support the colas later in flowering. I stripped all the growth below the first screen so the plants won’t waste there energy on these lower beaches with no light under the canopy. I will be removing a few of the larger guard leaves later in the week on the top of the canopy to let light in to the lower shouts ready to come up, but not until after the plants recovers for a day or 2 from the bottom stripping. Smell is starting to ramp up, can really notice it strong when you open the tent now.

Great week!!! What a resilient plant, a few different times now I’ve come up with issues, I attempt to diagnose and compensate with my limited growing knowledge and the thing just keeps coming back better and healthier and stronger then before. So far, I am very happy with this strain, Dresden Green Diamond from the Garden of Green seed company because it’s been so easy for a beginner like me and it’s going so well. Looks like they are either sold out or they discontinued the strain possibly I got them as freebies with my order on Seedsman but yea super happy with it. So on to the meat and potatoes of this week. I realized the biggest issue that I have now is going to be controlling the heigh of the plant. It’s only a 4 foot tent. The pot takes at least a foot of height space away, the light is currently as high as the pulley system allows and is still hanging down a foot from the top. (I may have to end up just juryrigging a new attachment system for it to get more space. Also the plant is now about a foot tall and the light is 10 inches away. I’ve heard that they can double or more in height during flowering which would be a problem. So what to do? I topped it this week for the first time. Hoping that will redirect some of the plants energy into developing the lower branches, of which I have a healthy number. So I’m hoping they will catch up with the top of the plant and I just have a bunch of top sites. There are also 2 new top branches starting to grow from the top site. As soon as they are big enough I will bend them at a 90 degree angle to try and prevent it from going any taller than this point. I haven’t got around to it yet but I will begin LST this week as well to spread the branches out a bit and have them more horizontal to fill up more of my space. Overall, things are going great.

Blue Dream'Matic growing strong. Defoliated her this week and she bushed right back out again in a couple of days. Lightly fed some Espoma Organic Grow this week. She seems to be in a friendly competition with the Auto Lemon, they have been battling back and forth to see who's taller. Fight all you want girls, I'll be the winner in the end. 👍

This is it, the time is here to chop the plants. It looks like two of them could go a bit more, like a week or two, but if I do that then the other ones that are complete around 3-4 of them will be over ripe and they are already fox tailing a bit and not a huge fan of that. I have seen some clear winners in the tent for the self judged mini contest I have going on. Its going to take some time to judge them fully as I'll want a min 1month cure on some of thees strains. Found some weird growth inside the boom+ product on the last feed, dumped it out and then when removing the label for recycling it noticed there was a weird [A] under the label, I don't know what this means, the product was fine when I opened it so this was a my problem but the [A] is a mystery. Little photo and video flyby of the tent, tomorrow is chop and dry.

I've no idea what is wrong with this plant. It's like it's diseased, all the leaves are wrinkled. One leave has decided to only grown on one side? Perhaps it had an argument. I've moved the light away but it's not looking good so far.

Flower Week 9 Day 69 to 71 - 5/20 to 5/22 After a few extra days of dryout I chopped. I decided to wet trim while still on the stems. Lots of rain lately, and the drying process was a challenge but I overcame with fans around the hangers and more dry time. I dried until I could snap a test branch. Then I trimmed off the buds and placed in humidity controlled bags with hydrometers.

FBT 2309 is doing great. She is progressing into flowering more and more. She loves the Medic Grow Mini Sun-2, with hmthe Gen 1:11 nutes. I stopped giving them Bio Grow since the harvest is near.. I cut some yellow leaves and they all look beautiful :) Can't wait until harvest :D
