***Note that I started to count the days when I placed the seeds between paper towels. The seeds were planted 3 days later and sprouted from the ground 2 days after being planted. D80 (13/05/2021): I'm looking at the trichomes every other days. Glue Gelato is starting to show amber on top buds. No amber for Banana Kush and Gelato. This time I will chop them all at the same time so the one I will rely on is the Glue Gelato. As soon as she is ready, I will harvest them all. Banana Kush and Gelato would probably need more, but in term of logistic, I need to harvest all my plants at the same time. D83 (16/05/2021): Not ready yet. I'm checking trichomes closely! 😬 - Light: the lights are at 100% and at 12 inch form the plants. - Temperature: during the day: 24-25C ; during the night: 20C. - Humidity: the humidity is maintain around 46-48% all the time. - Air circulation: There is an oscillating fan on the ground, one fixed fan pointing on top of the canopy and one fixed fan to help cool the lights. - Water: I gave water every other day or when the ground feel dry or the pots feels light. - ***IPM: I never mention it but I'm using nematodes pouch as an integrated pest management. I had trouble with pest in my first grow and I learned from it. That's the only thing I do for pest and of course watching closely and regularly at my plants 😊

Topped her on day 11 and upped the maxigro a little. She is making steady progress. I expect her to take off in the next few days. Will start some training before the end of week 3. Just another boring plant at this point but stick around for a while and I bet that will change....

Man p4 is coming on strong after knocking of the longstanding p1 Queen of the crop. Crazy, I thought plant 3 was goin to be lucky to survive and she kicks booty! Another video up there 12 days in December cuts off about an hour ago. I have to say this week went pretty uneventful other than getting everything potted into their final 3ga pots. I'm trying to get the plants up to around 12" before flipping but getting anxious about it. If plant 3 wasn't so dang little I'd probably had flipped the ladies already... But they're still a bit short. I'm finding overcoming impatience is the biggest lesson I'm learning. 2/10: I watered today with about 3/4 gallon each, plus cal-mag, signal, bembe, armor si, a little open sesame, and their final dose of endoboost. The short one never did stop making the hook leaves on all her new growth, but she seems happy..budding faster than anybody else.. 2/11: Wife home sick today....postponing construction project to raise the lights. 2/12: Today, I tackled the project to raise my ceiling another foot. In addition to that project, I installed and hooked up my new AC Infinity 6" intake fan. It's pulling in fresh air from the soffit vent on the eave of the attic, and currently feeding the garden with 46f fresh air. I'm able to easily maintain daytime temps in the lower 70f's now. I am able to drive the nighttime temps as low as I want. The only issue is that the outdoor RH varies quite a bit, so I ordered a 30-pint dehumidifier to put in the top of the closet. I sprayed everybody with boomboom spray to try and mitigate the light burn damage that is likely to ensue. 2/13: The taller one is still stretching a little bit, but the 2-footer is just budding up. 2/14: I fed them today with about 3/4 gallon each including grow big, big bloom, tiger bloom, cal-mag, signal, bembe, humic acid, and I switched over from Open Sesame to Beastie Bloomz. Raised the lights another couple of inches. I did some training on them and defo'd a little bit. 2/15: Installed the new dehumidifier and rigged the continuous drain on it...works great. 2/16: I rotated the edge plants and removed some old leaves. I added another 22w 3000k 4' bar light under the canopy. 2/17: I rearranged the garden and defoliated a little bit. That's it for week 8-

December 4th:starting in the winter, veg and bloom will happen under 400watt hps to keep the grow room warm. the seeds have been germinating for 2 days with the wet paper towel technique, they got root and are now in soil and the rockwool cube. for now im just waiting for the seeds to show root coming out of the rockwool, then i transplant to the netpot with clay pellets straight in the dwc, untill then they get fluorescent light (max 7 days) these are autoflowers so they get 18 or 20 hours light. nutrients General hydroponics three part :micro gro bloom and calmag water: rainwater (25ppm) i hope the room wont cool of too much when the lights go out. Day 1 (December 5) seeds start to come above the rockwool and the soil Day 2 (december 6) stems start to stretch i give them both pure rain water with 100ppm calmag when they feel dry. Day 4 (december 8) still no root visible out of the rockwool Day 5 (december 9) root visible outside of rockwool cube and transplant to the 55Liter rdwc air pumps 10l/minute Day 7 (december 11) root comes trough netpot, i lowered the water by removing 3Liters

I left the honey cream outside in a dark place, which turned out to be a big mistake. None of the branches that I trimmed and dried directly had bud rot but around 6 buds that were left outside had bud rot. The mass of this plant really put me to the test took a whole lot of time to trim every branch. In fact I still have a bunch of branches that I'm too lazy to trim right now so I'll do a dry trim someday. Although this grow had some problems it was an absolute pleasure to watch these plants grow and to now having this harvest is absolutely beautiful, a perfect strain mix. I won't ever let them grow this big again since I really don't need that much weed and I think I'll going to have more fun with some extreme LST or something like it and I guess I'll look for strains that will flower earlier and not for ones that flower fast.

Week 1 seedlings just starting. 4/6 cotys sprouted. First leaves coming through. Added a fan to grow strong stems.

Day 51 - Deficiencies have gotten a bit out of hand the previous few days. Looking at the leaves I was thinking maybe calcium and magnesium deficiency, but it doesn't really make sense to me because I had: 1. Given a decent feeding with the Aptus cal-mag solution. 2. Calcium was already in the soil (pre-fertilized) 3. There is more often too much calcium in soil than too little. 4. There is a not insignificant amount of calcium in the water I use (causes limescale in a lot of things) So my guess is instead of calcium deficiency, I'm seeing next to some magnesium deficiency, a deficiency of phosphorus. So a couple of days ago I gave the plant FloraBloom which has both phosphorus and magnesium but no nitrogen or calcium. Today (two days later), the leaves are now feeling a lot less dry / crunchy, which was a supposed symptom of phosphorus deficiency. I expect to need to wait about two more weeks before harvesting. Maybe around 10 days. The trichomes are still fairly glassy although there's some cloudiness. Pistils are still mainly white though, so I'm expecting some fattening to happen. I don't really like feeding the plants at this point (short before harvest), but the deficiencies were severe enough to me that I'll keep giving FloraBloom this week. Next week I might stop depending on where the trichomes are at. Smell is excellent, I definitely now understand where the 'mandarin' name comes from. Very similar to a mandarin smell now. Other than the phosphorus / magnesium issue, the plants seems to be doing well.
