After eight weeks of flowering since I flipped her into an 11-hour light and 13-hour dark cycle, she was at her prime. As I carefully trimmed the bountiful buds from the branches, I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and joy. Due to the abundance of buds and the presence of the scrog nets in action, I had to adapt my drying process. Instead of hanging the full plants, I gently broke her branches to allow for a more efficient and manageable drying experience. It was a bit of a puzzle, but I embraced the challenge with a smile on my face. After all, sometimes we need to get creative in the pursuit of perfection. Well its another update from down under.. and things are getting better with the Caramelo. She got badly burnt from my mistake of using too strong lime sulfur spray to treat spider mites and mold issues before they could take hold. And its kinda worked. lols...the mites are still there but reduced alot in number but I was almost ready to chop her after I saw how badly burnt all her new shoots were. But Im glad I decided to wait a bit as she has recovered faster than expected and while im sure she still has issue at the root level from the rain drenching her for near on a week- she basically stunted after that and never showed much stretch at all when switching to flower-she grew maybe 15cms in height total after that so Im assuming some kind of root rot has her and any harvest will be a bonus. In saying that Im still not going to be suprised if she suddenly dies or gets badly infected with bud rot out of the blue as Im nursing her hard just to get her to this stage and in my experience a nursed plant may produce a yield but it will be weaker than its meant to be and reduced by around 50% of the yield you should have got. if she was indoor id have ripped her out after the sighs she was stunted presented and started over with a new plant. But out doors I dont have that luxury so I will nurse her thru and hope for the best but expect less than average results. Zkittles though is loving life and just LOOK at her!! When you realize she was the same size as the Caramelo when the rain hit and now look at the difference- thats why i say when you see obvious signs of stunting-rip the plant if you can and start over, it may recover but if it was serious then the plant will never show its true potential and you may think those genetics are shit. Ive never grown the Caramelo before now so if i judge it on this result I will say the genetics are shit when the plant likely had root rot from 3 weeks before even switching to flower. And the BC buds hash plant is FINALLY flowering too now. For a 90% indica it sure is taking the longest to flower. I wonder if its the old school genetics at play here-This strain been around since the 70's while the ZkittleZ is a modern hybrid so maybe the newer genetics really are all they are cracked up to be. Thats why I love doing side by side grows out doors with diff genetics and see what they can really do. You should see my mates BC hashys- lmao, he said he wanted bigger plants than last year as he got "bonsai" plants from someone else. Now he has to tie down trees that are growing over his 6ft fence!! And they only just went into flower last week. But on that note- Will update more now as things progress towards harvest. Its hard to believe we're 6 down already. These buds are insanely frosty, I can only imagine how they'll look in a few more weeks..despite how they appear on video the leaves are very dark, too dark actually and some are glossy..no burnt tips but these girls are definitely overfed..we decided it's a good time to cut nutrients anyway, they'll get water only for the rest of the grow. This strain smells amazing, very sweet..I'm really looking forward to trying it! These ladies are looking great! They still have a week or two to finish. Smells amazing full of trics and getting chunkier. One plant flowered latest and is taking longer and looks different from the other 2. All good until next week🏼

Flowering day 19 since the time change to 12/12. Hey all together 😀. This week she has developed beautifully ☺️. I poured it 3 times with 1.2 l this week. Tomorrow I will add the 2 g GHSC Powder Feeding Bio Bloom because the first blossoms are coming :-). I checked all the leaves thoroughly for pests or diseases and everything is fine ☺️. Next week I'll look at your roots as soon as the coconut is completely rooted. As every week, the tent was cleaned and the entire technology checked. The humidifier was also refilled every day 👍. In the next few days I will remove the bottom shoots so that the energy doesn't end up being wasted in the small popcorn buds. I wish you a lot of fun with the update. So frosty and starting to swell, amazing smells hard to describe. Pleasure to grow and very resilient so far compared to other strains I've grown.. holiday harvest 2023!

Day 35 Noticed true flowers on 3 of 4 plants. Turned lights up to 100%. 5 or 6 large leaves removed from each during past week. Increased nutes for two feedings during this past week. Photos and video from day 36. Noticed brown spots and tip burn Day 38 on some leaves mid plant on BB2 and GG2. I'm guessing start of Potassium lock out because of too much Cal mag. Flushed all 4 with one gallon each of 6.5 ph water on Day 38 and removed all LST. By Day 40 all new growth was healthy and all were growing quickly. Defoliated BB2 of 8 large fan leaves and a few on the others.

This plant was my first harvest of inhouse genetics. Although she produced some seeds at end of life, I couldn't be much happier.

This week was all about letting her recover from the cloning. Sadly most clones I took did not made it. Just 2 survived my inexperience hands. The good news is that miss Daisy it's doing so well I may be able to give it another try before flipping to flower. I have no rush for this harvest so will probably give it a try. After the cloning and some extra pruning she recovered in no time. 2024-06.23 Look at her, such a sweet Plant. showing very good Floweringsites, growing with a super solid structure. the outdoor Girl is still outdoor, i havent decided to get her in or to plant in open Ground or in a bigger Bag.--- stll Time to think for the Moment shes standing on a sweet sunny Place. BREEDER INFO Tangerine Snow F1 Fast Feminised is a 75% sativa, four-way cross of (Boost x Tangelo) with (Lavender x Power Plant). This Fast F1 hybrid is bred from Cali genetics and boasts great citrus terps, high resin production for extracts, high levels of THC, very good yields and excellent mould resistance. Tangerine Snow F1 Fast can be grown indoors as well as outdoors. Indoor flowering times are between 8 - 10 weeks while harvest time in northern latitudes is during September while in the southern hemisphere growers will be harvesting during March. Recommended climate regions are hot, dry, humid and warm. These are tall, semi-branched plants that grow in excess of 200cm and display a high degree of vigour with very good uniformity. In common with many other heavily sativa-dominant strains, Tangerine Snow F1 Fast offers excellent resistance to mould as well as to plant pests and diseases. The combination of citrus terps and plenty of resin makes thi a very good extract strain with the 'washing' method delivering very good yields of hash. The citrus terpene profile is reminiscent of mandarins and tangerines and also has sweet candy notes. THC production has been lab-verified at a strong 24% while CBD is low. The effect is uplifting and energising, perfect for use during the day and early evening.

The grow was a lil unique was able to give it very low strength neits the whole veg. Stayed overall short during vegetation, but boomed once it went into flower. Turning out to be a tall pheno. Flower cycle was a total of 67 days, including a flush of 14 days and lights off for 2 days. Finished product was very long fluffy nugs stretching down the plant. Does not do well in heat at all, ideal temperature is between 60°-70°. Towards the end of flower cycle best to get humidity and temperature as low as possible to bring out the purple hues and bulked nugs. A perfect strain for cold climents or LED lights. Recommended for the connoisseur seeking a sweet change 👏💯

2nd topped on day 20 and she is reacted well to HST, she is too busy with growing, there is no time to get stunted. I give her 1/3 of the feed schedule’s recommendation. Soon I will switch to bottom feed. DLI has been set to 30. Day 26 - today I installed the Megapot system. She has been transplanted from a 5 gal bag to a 6 gal one, it was quite a torture I must say. More stress for the plant. I had to do this for the better drainage. Was it a stupid move? We shall see.
