Welcome to my Tropical Tangie From Dutch-Passion. This update is all pics I had for flowering phase. Sadly a lot of time was missed, (pics/videos) and such, as family stuff hit this crop, I just finished off the last of the puff this week. So, I have her taste and qualities fresh in my mind. So, stay tuned as full harvest & smoke review coming in the next day or two. Took a little over 8 weeks to flower. 60 days. Pre Flower she didn't really stretch so she'd be a ringer for a good SOG. The plant started to develop a lovely tangie smell early. I hit her with a the SE5000 and was at the edge. Picking up a lovely shape. The buds started to develop really nicely. Swollen calyexs, with fuzzy tops, dripping in shiny glistening trichomes. Was HST'ed early into the flowering phase. Knowing that HST works best after PRE flower has ended im sure id of gotten bigger buds. But what I did get was 21 grams of premium A grade HomeGrown. (More 2 come on that topic) Really happy with this girl and her strenghts. As a lot of my crop suffered from light exhaustion. Co2 was kept steady and the process of ppfd intake was really high and not enough co2 which led to the plant eating the very thing needed to push your plants, sugars, co2, light. And the ppfd was been kept up but sadly the co2 was not. But, she pushed through it the best out of the bunch. Hitting highs of 35c. Brought it down to 28 the last 10 days or so and cut the ppfd in half and dropped and extra co2. She ate all the Fungi in the pot, and was a happy lady. As you might be able to tell. I'm talking about this girl in the past tents, and that is because this girl and her whole 21grams got 1.5 months cure. I was smoking it upon curing also. Defo one of the best tangie puffs I've had in a long time. Brief flowering phase(s) reviews: Total time 90 days. 9 clones taken, but sadly I had to ditch that plan. I HST'ed this girl just as she was moving into pre flower. And was a very hardy girl. Drenched in sticky trichones she glistened under the light during late flowering period. Will defo be doing a SOG as she hardly stretched at all during pre flower probably 8cm, and there was a big swing in lights on/off 35c / 23c. Very easy girl to maintain and very hardy to harsh conditions. Thanks to Spider-Farmer for providing the light and to dutch for allowing me to try this baby. As I said. Harvest and puff review coming soon. She isn't a house stinker. So, some light air cleaning with an air filter and you'll be golden. But, don't be but off by this. As she'll be a stinker upon finishing or at least doing 4 weeks of curing. (More in the harvest update coming soon). 90 days + 48hr dark rest and 10 days drying at 19c and 70% rh. (Gen not my ideal conditions for drying but done 3 of my girls this way, and they're probably my best dried plants ever. No bush whack smell (hay smell).. some very nice bud that grinds a treat. Takes a little longer to dry but no dropping the RH, it must of been the steady conditions that made them some good owl phenos.. Thanks for your views and so on. This lady is showing beautiful roots and a fast growth pace, let's see how she keeps developing every day guys, finally this beautiful lady was Transplanted on February 2nd after 17 days planted from seed because I thought it was the right time considering her size and also because the pot was completely conquered by those super healthy and strong roots, let's see how this lady keeps performing so far! 💛❤️💚👨‍🌾💯

07/15/2025 Started veg week by transplanting an AK 2.0 into a 20 gallon fabric pot others will be going into 3 gallon nursery pot. The 20 gallon fabric pot is in second year of growing, is amended with Carbon G (Lesco) worm castings and other organic stuff I can't remember, (Coast of Maine Stonington Blend 5-2-4) plant food and top pot off with Coast of Maine Stonington Blend soil, but I want to make it a no till type bed. I've also been watering pots with BIO-REMEDY to insure plenty of microbial activity in plants root zone and nemetodes too! See ya next week.

Week 4 Update – Progress and Adjustments 🌱 It’s been another eventful week in my grow tent! Here’s how things are shaping up: GHF#2 Update: I decided to let GHF#2 go and followed the community's advice to rename #3 to AN#3. I’ve been preparing my osmosis water with CalMag Xtra, bringing the EC to 0.35, and adding nutrients to reach a total EC of 1.2. AN#3 This plant has been a challenge from the start, struggling with deformed cotyledons and unusual leaf patterns. However, there’s finally some good news! The roots are healthy and reaching the pot’s edges, and growth is picking up steadily. Adjusting the pH and nutrients seems to have helped a lot. BioBizz#1 I’ve moved this one to the larger tent, and it’s been performing well despite a slightly yellowish tint. It’s now on its way to flowering (currently at BT2). Unfortunately, the usual CalMag deficiency has reappeared, even with 1.3ml/L CalMag and 0.05g/L Epsom salt in the feed. AN#4 This plant is thriving with no visible deficiencies, drinking 1L per day. However, I noticed pre-flowering signs while still on an 18/4 light schedule. Has anyone else experienced this with photoperiod plants? Otherwise, everything looks great, and I’ve been feeding it at an EC of 1.5. Container Size Feedback I’ve realized that 9L pots are a bit too small for my setup. I’m watering 3L every two days now, and I believe 12-15L pots would be ideal for future grows. Timelapse Recovery! For AN#3, I identified a potential issue with the pH of the drain water—it was as low as 5.3 after its first feeding with Advanced Nutrients. Before that, it only received plain tap water. I’ve corrected this with pH-adjusted water (6.6) and nutrients at an EC of 0.9. You can see its steady recovery in the timelapse! Overall, things are coming together, and I’m excited to see how the plants perform in the coming weeks. Thanks for following along!

3/25/2023 Week 6- Day 1 of Veg (Day 52 overall) Added my first between changes SILICA Top offs. Was worried that when you add it to pre mixed Nutes that it can make the whole thing turn into a gummy looking substance. I was ready to drain the system and start it over for the week if needed, but no issues adding it to the tank. the Silica going into the Res didn't gummy the system up, it did drop my PH by quit a bit causing me to have to bring it back in balance. 36 Gallons in the Tank Silica Add .5mil/Gal = 18Mil I topped some that needed to be topped, I defoliated some that needs to be defoliated. Since I have moved into Week 6 I have increased the light intensity up to just over 500 maxing it out for Veg Cycle. Next increase will be Week 1 of Flower. 3/26/2023 Week 6- Day 2 of Veg (Day 53 overall) All conditions looked great. Other than me not putting one of the humidifiers back right which means it didn't work last night so Humidity was lower than I like. But got the Humidifier back on it's stand correctly and it is now pumping away. With that I decided to give the plants a day off from any stresses, no topping, no FIMing, no Defoliation for today. Just some good old soaking up the light rays and the ability to get all the Nutes they would like.. 3/27/2023 Week 6- Day 3 of Veg (Day 54 overall) Looking kind of Bushy today, so I defoliated some, and topped some. 3/28/2023 Week 6- Day 4 of Veg (Day 55 overall) PH was a little lower than I like 5.74 so I added a few Mil of PH UP and brought it back up to 5.94. Not much else at this stage, just I topped a little and I defoliated a little. 3/29/2023 Week 6- Day 5 of Veg (Day 56 overall) Topped a little, Defoliated a little Watched them grow!! 3/30/2023 Week 6- Day 6 of Veg (Day 57 Overall) Main action today was breaking down my old tent and setting up a new tent and getting my second RDWC system setup and ready for clones. I Topped a little, I Defoliated some and started taking a good look at what I would like to take for clones in the coming days. I have a few bottom branches that look every promising for my clone material on each. 3/31/2023 Week 6- Day 7 of Veg (Day 58 overall) #3 is at 16" Tall #2 is at 13" Tall

A regular week for the girls, we just gave some nutrients and will start to add some ultra pk this week, 1 phenotype shows some difference in the buds and the other 2 are exactly the same, lets see, im curious about these girls as these seeds are from a low cost seed bank and its nice to compare this with more expensive seeds, at the moment i dont see any issue at all, they are not affected by the stress (i did HST as i cut some of the tops) so great news 😁👍

This girl is growing like a sword – tall, slender, and cutting through the canopy with style 😅 She's stretched quite a bit, and down below she’s rocking four tiny side shoots that I’m honestly not sure what to think of yet. But hey, I’m letting her do her thing. Stretch seems to be slowing down now, and I'm starting to spot the very first trichomes glistening under the light, always an exciting moment! Let’s see how she continues to shape up in the coming weeks. Staying hopeful!🌱💚

2nd October 2018 - Day 99 Burn slows down Third day of flush and she starts to thicken up. Day 100 - Sweet smell begins as she starts to mature. Day 103 - Begining to mture and dense. Day 104 - Water added and pH balanced 5.4 Day 105 - Last week of Flush

Day 82. Sprayed Monterey BT as a precaution, I'll keep that up weekly or so. I've sprayed neem oil a handful of times over the grow. No pest issues aside from the cat.The bigger the plant gets the harder it is to keep it in this cage so the cat has taken more chunks out of it...including one of the budsites. Lost my TDS meter the last couple months but got it back. Probably gonna go thru and cut the really yellow leaves. I need more bulk on the buds!!

Yes, the dream come true! Let's explain before harvest: The one transplanted it's the more advanced one in the flowering (harvest probably end of this week). She had just one topping and grew up very nicely, the buds are stinky but could be fatter (my light it's not enough i guess). 😏 The bonsai one I broke her without wanting to, but she survived and looks the bigger top cola it's from her. I really pissed her off but she respond with strength (a lot). So she had the worst LST you can imagine (lol) and also 2 supercroppings, it looks like this only made her stronger! 😎 The 2 toppings looks like she liked the fight too. With 2 toppings she looks like the one with fatter buds, with 6 colas. 😍 The untouched had been touch, one supercropping on her and that's it, she didn't grow like the others and looks like the youngest into the flowering. Conclusion: I'm loving this shit for real! As I see, you can stress your plant if you know what you're doing (even if not perfectly, like me). On my understanding, they're just like us humans, it needs some hard times and stress to evolve even more yall know!? The untouched it's the smaller, the bonsai grew up like bamboo and the other two (1 topping and 2 topping) grew like sisters and with beautiful colas! 👻😁

Day 40-47 (May 31st- June 7th) (Day 41) For the first time in this grow these plants are looking halfway decent. Smell is ramping up too. I finally feel optimistic about this grow. (Day 42) The two jacks and the chunky blueberry are showing early signs of N/Mg deficiencies. I know it’s late in flower but since I’m experimenting with this tent, I’m going to give them one final feeding of nature’s pride 2-5-5.5 (tbsp) along with a teaspoon of oyster shell flour and some rock dust. Everything else I’m going to give a teaspoon of rock dust and oyster shell. There is no way these amendments will fully break down in time to be used by the plant but they could at least use the pH buffering and trace amounts of minerals after their recent leach. Everything but the BAOGC is covered in pistils that don’t really match their bud size. I hope they fill into their pistils because an over abundance of hairs drops the bag appeal like crazy. Over the last few cycles, indoor and outdoor, I’ve definitely learned that different strains and phenotypes mature at different times. Sometimes really radically too. (Day 43) None of the plants are fading at all but they’re still looking good. Black garlic I know should be fading but remains dark green and toxed. I popped a developing seed out of the main bud too. I wonder if that blueberry herm branch pollinated it at all. It seems like plants don’t really like that Destiny dark matter soil by itself. I find it works better mixed with coco or promix 1:1. (Day 44) I’m starting to think I might be mixing up the TWOG and BAOGC. BAOGC took forever to fatten up last round and the 2 phenos I suspected already look done. I was thrown off by the similar terps. The beauty phenos are definitely TWOG (Day 45) God these Jack Herer’s smell good. Nothing but fruity funk. Almost like a vanilla or blueberry yogurt. I would say this stuff has the most overpowering smell in the tent now. I’ve noticed they’re starting to foxtail like crazy. Blueberry#1 too. I’m watering a final low strength feeding of seaweed extract on everything. (Day 47) Everything really fattened up this week. Even at the beginning of the week I was saying I didn’t think they would fill out. Jack Herer and BAOGC specifically made some big gains and nearly doubled their density and still have quite a way to go on them too! The smell has ramped up and finally, everything is looking happy and healthy.
