Hey Farmers , it’s your friendly barn rat BONEY ! Just hanging fire this week . Having a bit of a time with my one purple kush plant that’s located directly in the middle of my tent . That one has been a struggle , keeps looking like a nitrogen deficiency to me . All I’ve been doing is hitting it with a foliage spray of one tbsp of Epsom salts to a gallon of rain water . At the start of the week I watered with rain water with a mixture of cantaloupe and brown sugar that had been previously fermented to a 1:1 ratio .

Fair amount of LST going on in there. They've been bent over and seem to be liking it. Just before pics were taken they were given some phd cal/mag water due to what I Believe was a slight mag def. starting. Ph is still remaining perfect in FFOF ( Big up dolomite ). PPM's coming out have dropped from 2000 to 1000 in one week so I'm gonna keep an eye on that. I'm watering every 3 days right now as well not every day as the drop down made me choose per day. They seem pretty happy though. I have a feeling they're about to explode. Update: I was right they needed a lil cal / mag and in 2 days yellowing has cleared up and they are absolutely exploding almost doubled in size in 2 days. Also two have started to flower.

Well most of them are sick,, some have lost or never had many pistils. It starts to smell a bit now. I still don't know how to deal with collective flushing and harvesting early rippen flowers. Found out the roots were badly burnt,(no slime or foam): 3 of them lost the roots beneath the pot, Jah only knows the state the roots are in. Hoping they won't die before harvest...

Final week of veg. Seems like a lot went on. As you can see, the canopy is virtual all even. The branches that were tied down 3 weeks ago were allowed to let go and reach for the light. In contrast, the taller and much stronger branches now became tied down. This took some work - these branches are thick and sturdy - pulling on them too much I am afraid will detach them from the trunk. That happened to the Gelato. It took a little bit of repositioning the wire garden ties everyday to achieve this. I'm happy to send them into flower like this. Speaking of Gelato. Her soil has been hot from the beginning. She has shown signs of high nitrogen levels and the run off from the pot is never clear. I purposely held off from feeding her nutrients bc of this, until this week. A day after feeding veg nutrients at 50% strength, there was yellow-browning and burning new growth leaf tips. This occurred for about 24 hrs on a few leaves then did not get worse. Next watering cycle will get only cal mag. Of note, the pH of any liquid going into Gelato has been consistently at 6.5. A few notes about the environmental conditions. According to VPD charts, the temperature / relative humidity ratio has not been ideal for vegetation. What would have improved the environment would have been the addition of a humidifier to reach about 60% RH at temps around 65 degrees F. Now, we are on to flower...

Forgot to update yesterday but I switched the lights to 12-12 and she’s stretching healthily (4DAYS)! She’s bushed out so much I figured it was the right time to flip as I have the others that had reached my ideal time of 6 weeks! I’ve removed grape ape as she was too small but gave her to a friend to finish so she’s still documented on grow diaires thanks to @godg420 stay tuned for flowers 💐

Но прежде я ее промыл хорошо, вывел все накопившие соли с горшка, и ее корней, думаю мне это удалось. На выходе из горшка вода показала всего 111ppm! Так же на этой недели стали желтеть верхние листья, считаю что это и за недостатка кальция. По этой причине стал добавлять CALiMAGic. Я его всегда использовал когда пользовался линейкой удобрений от General Hydroponics. Вообще в конце я напишу свое мнение о использованных мной удобрений, может кому то будет полезен мой опыт. ~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2206 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/1- I soaked both seeds for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged roughly 24 hours later. 12/3- Today their tap roots were about 1/2 to 3/4" so at 11 am I transferred them into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph using a tine off of a plastic fork as a 'mini trowel' to make a hole in the pellet and to gently cover the tap root, leaving only the seed head slightly exposed. This method accomplishes most of the initial work the seed has to do by eliminating having to orientate itself, push it's root down and head up. By 10pm the #1 seed had her cotyledon leaves opened and the #2 isn't far behind! 12/5- Well this is Day ONE for the #2 FBT #2206 and the second day for her sister! I'll keep them in the covered/heated Jiffy tray until I see their roots beginning to emerge from the peat pellet, then I'll transfer them gently into their respective fabric pots. The #1 will be going into the 4g Gronest pot from FastBuds and the #2 will reside in a 3g pot by Wraxly, which I'm trying out for the first time. 12/7- Yesterday I checked the #1 tester and she had roots starting to emerge from her pellet so I transferred her into her 4g Gronest pot. After making a hole in the medium for the peat pellet, I coated the entire surface with Xtreme Gardening Mycos then placed the pellet in the hole and planted her in. Lastly, I watered her in with about 4oz of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of FishShit added which was then ph'd to 6.4 @ 75℉ after which I placed a humidome over her for 24hrs to ensure that the humidity stays constant. The #2 tester is doing great and I'm confident that she should be ready to transfer into her fabric pot in the next couple of days! 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! 4th week of veg and everything is going beautifully ❤️.. we've been rotating pots every few days or so to encourage them to grow uniformly but 1 of the plants is a bit of a runt..I think its just the way it is..they're all using training ties now and couldn't look happier at the moment, which makes me happy! ❤️🌱..thanks for dropping by and happy harvests everyone!! 😽💨

We went a bit crazy this week and got a third lamp. The lights are now at 25 and 30 cm from the tallest plant. According to Sanlight, it's optimal for our tent size and with CO2 added. Also, we added another CO2 bag hanging in the tent. According to the app Photone, which displays the PPFD of the lamps, the PPFD in our tent is around 500. Did some flushing with Cal mag, which we hope helped with the deficiencies seen on the leaves. Either or, our girls seem to be finally growing well and hydrated with the Autopots. New growth seems to be healthy. We had to get a dehumidifier because of the increasing humidity. Currently balancing between humidity and temperature because the winter is getting cold around here. We started doing LST this week. Some of the girls get the stick and some are getting tied up. They seem to be liking it 👹 We are hoping next weekend for a full and healthy canopy, so we can flip the flower.

We survived lst, defoliation and cloning. And I also added 30 watts of red light with a wavelength of 630nm, using Samsung 351LH diodes.This spectrum enhances flowering, and helps the plant to form internodes with shorter distances, which will give more growth points for future buds. 👌Let's start with nutrition. I changed the frequency of watering, now my plant is watered 6 times for 20 minutes during daylight hours, every 3 hours. This week I made a nutrient solution with the following recipe: Water 183 ppm, 8l Silicon 4ml Сalmag 1.5ml GHE Flora: Gro 7.5 Micro 5 Bloom 2.5 pH down 5.5 ml Total 669 ppm, 5.6 pH 💪About training. Let's start with LST: Low stress training, abbreviated as LST (LowStressTrainig), is similar to the art of bonsai except for cannabis plants. This is a special technique of bending and tying plants to give them the desired shape. LST will also help you get a lot of massive buds by leveling the crown of your plant so that the lighting is more effective on it. Using LST will help you increase your yield and is surprisingly fun. 😈The following I did defoliation: Pruning leaves or defoliation is an old Japanese technique that has been kept secret for a long time. The main goal is the intensive development of the tree, that is, in one year the tree goes through a two-year growth cycle. This method consists in partial removal of leaves. The week as all seedling wasn't quite special but I did notice alot of girls starting to display pistles very early on , which isn't a bad sign at all just hopfully they achieve a good size 30inch to 40 inch I would prefer . Watering I've got under control already with the LEDs . Temps are a different story they have been a nitemare to keep under control , two heaters full power and the LEDS are only keeping the room about 20oC at best sometimes ... So gonna buy some insulation and seal the room up some more and hopfully keep some heat trapped inside the room and hopfully the heating bill reduces by some as this run will cost appox 900£ gbp 1200$ appox 1000€ appox Thoe come this years summer run my temps will be ideal without even using a heater at all which will reduce power to 1kw/h from 2kw/h . Plants day 14 review Girl scout cookie's ZAMNESIA These little women has been displaying the best vigour ans size in the room , hinting towards a big yeilder , there's some nice purpling of the stems and some leaves 🍃 looks like I might have got a purple pheno cookies 🍪 time will certainly tell Do si dos RQS These girls are smaller than most in the tent but this looks to be more genicitis than anything as there all displaying a smaller size compared to the other pots and not as much vigour but all in sync showing the gentics are solid but might be just a slow start for these girls Gorilla glue ZAMNESIA Hoping the funny gorilla girl pulls through as I was looking forwards to having some glue the other two plants are on par with the GSC and doing quite well in size and also structure is also like the GCS very thick stems for such small plants. I think these @VIPARSPECTRA lights are playing a good part in allowing these girls to use what light is needed for a healthy structure Runtz ZAMNESIA Girls are looking like there genicitis has lots of potential for a very vigorous plant , the last runtz I grew was very big plants hoping for the same type of growth . One does appear to acquire some molding on the frist true leaves but seems not to have slowed any growth or reduced vigorous growth so if you spot this I'm not worried , very vigorous strain Lemon haze - ETS look like they could be bigger plants hopfully they make for a nice grow and don't get out of control making me think should I top my haze ? Blueberry Headbang- ETS This has been the hardest Germination of any seeds and I only got 1 decent seed pop up this one plant I'm taking super good care of as I wanna try Blueberry headbang Headlight kush - ETS a few of these have come up in good old fashion no visible problems and look to grow pretty good I think where gonna have a couple of headlights kush . Seem to be solid and all in sync to whatever part of growth there meant to be at . All plants are doing amazing 👏 they where showing great vigorous growth and some steady growth . Planning on keeping as many girls as possible alothough 16 might be the upper limit if these girls get big as this is the frist time I've used LEDs Im not sure what to expect . The same as hps ? Definitely no the growth from the LEDs is alot better than HPS and I haven't even dailed the temps to stay super steady Going to introduce my GHE flora line at low dosage to not shock the little girls and not to stun any growth . Info: Unfortunately, I had to find out that my account is used for fake pages in social media. I am only active here on growdiaries. I am not on facebook instagram twitter etc All accounts except this one are fake. Harvest day 71 since the time change to 12/12 hrs. Hey guys :-) Finally the time has come . The lady was harvested. After the trichomes have been checked (70% milky 30% amber) as always, it was left in complete darkness for 48 hours before it was neatly trimmed by hand. After trimming, she was put back in the drying tent on nets. There they are allowed to dry for the next 8-12 days at 62% humidity before they are put into the jar to ferment with 62% boveda packs. After about 4-6 weeks in the jar I will swap the 62% boveda pack for a 58% boveda pack where it can be ready for another 4-6 weeks to enjoy :-). As always, the remains of the leaves are used to make Ice o Lator and oil. Of course, as always, there is a final update during the fermentation process.
