Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. Our mix includes: • Regulator: Keeping the plants’ stress levels in check and ensuring optimal growth. • CalMag: Providing essential calcium and magnesium for strong cell walls and overall plant health. • P-Boost: Enhancing flower development and increasing bud size. • K: Introducing potassium to boost bud density and improve overall flower quality. • Top Booster: Supporting the final push in flower production, ensuring those buds are as big and healthy as possible. After a week of super stretch to today 52 centimeters which crashes the 100% growth mark finally bud sites became clearly visible. Now for the final phase. Water intake is massive. When I upped to 2.5l per plant per 2 days from before 1.5l I saw zero difference in how fast the soil went dry etc. The plants stopped transpiring as much such that my humidity came a bit down. I was up to 60% at some times during the day. But it’s down to 50-55 again. Depends a bit on how often I vent the room. Gotta have to have a final stress point which is that I might have too move. Will share some pictures of how I’ll pull it off. Stay tuned.

Two of the plants started blooming 2-3 days after changing the light pattern. The other two started late. So there is about 1 week-10 days between them.

SONG OF THE WEEK : Isaiah Rashad - 4r Da Squaw ------- Day 32 - That week is a bit hard to manage as the weather is clearly against me, after the hard sun it is time for the heavy rain to shows up 😧. But it's outdoor rules. But the ladies are doing good : -SSW#3 were topped + suppercroped thanks to Tazard & Lumberjack advices I think she's doing right ( many thanks guys 😍). She's 20 cm tall now -SSW#1 Will not be topped , I'm just doing a light LST on her by bending each secondary stems with my fingers everyday and you can see a "good" result on the pictures. She's 34 cm tall -SSW#2 is late on the secondary stems but tall , I still don't know if I'm gonna train her. She's the tallest with 39cm

This week saw an influx of flower sites all over the plant, cannot believe how many flower sites this girl started yielding! Did some HST previous week and had wrangled the stems to create knuckles by breaking cell walls and forcing them to become thicker. Pics of recovery and knuckle forming.

I have been busy with a new job so I have not been able to spend much time with them I went yesterday after several days of rain and they had grown about two feet. ncredible

I backed my light up a little and let my nutes sit for longer this time. She’s improving. Think I’ll up my ph on the next watering. Trichs are starting to come in I added a dish of water to up humidity. Don’t know if it’s helping. One of the pics has a blemish. It’s from me, not spotting from deficiency. She’s looking yellow and skinny. Stems got really dark

The week went well, the truth turned off the light for two days and the plant was a day without light at all, then the next day put near the window, the sun was bright enough, then turned on, now the plant is under 600 watts HPS Sylvania . tomorrow or after tomorrow I plan to transplant the plant into 10 gallons of a pot of airpot for the roots go beyond the pot ,very powerful. I also plan to do another topping and do scrog😋 is it too late for scrog? What do you think?😅

Heya farmers, Time to get to work, my flower tent opened up and it just so happens that this baby is ready for some SCROGging. I also fed her some Power roots by Plagron, this won't hurt my soil life and help the roots a bit, It's essentially just kelp, acid and K which promotes root growth, it's not like a fancy mycorrhizae or anything. before moving her over, I took 2 additional clones and put these in my homemade cloner. I'll be running this strain twice, so i hope she's good! I'm hoping both clones root, I changed some things about my cloner, as a result the clones are in a very high humidity area, whilst constantly being fed new oxygen, I have some fun ideas for the clones, I might run one in a Hydro Coffee-can setup speaking of clones, the top is doing great, growth looks extremely dense, however. We'll see how she does. Next week or 2 we will bend the tops under the trellis, trying to fill the trellis as much as possible. then I will cut off everything below the trellis and flip to flower. Combined with my very big light, this should give us a tent full of nice, firm buds, Lets see if Tangie can do it

This is it! the start of the most unforgiving part of growing weed, now i have to chek my girls more than i did and wach the climate carefully as a mistake could significantly reduce potency or total yield . The smell of this strain is just beyond pleasant, sweet cirus arome fills the aire everytime i open the growbox and each time getting the same looks and same awnser , DUDE smells just like fucking lemons

dried the top off this plant after cutting it and it was a nice little buzz, decided to leave the rest to finish flowering :) mango and floral smells coming from this plant. need tograb myself a jewelers loupe as soon as possible, until then does anyone have any suggestions as to when to harvest this, its quite sticky but i think it could need another few weeks. Day 65 - 11/11/19 Flushed the plant with Phed tap water at 140ppm. used 3.2 liters to achieve runoff. ive decided to harvest this plant next week. considering it was an experiment to see if i could sprout a seed and went through its many issues along with average conditions im glad to get any harvest off this plant. its very sticky, smelly although the buds are small. Im going to trim the plant and then dry it by hanging them in a box and placing the box in the tent near the intake for fresh air. any suggestions please comment below. id say il learn a thing or two while harvesting :) Day 67 - 13/11/19 Decided to take the main cola from this plant today. its got stunted throughout the grow as this was the first plant i have ever germinated and grown :) I will upload some pictures! Il leave the lower parts of the plant to fatten up in the next days as they dont look matured enough yet. exciting harvest times haha. After harvesting the top: smoked a few of the pods that grow pistils out of them in a bong and it hit me nicely :) added some pictures of a few small buds and i was impressed. loads of trichomes all over! for a rough first try i think this turned out good. will harvest the rest of the plant in about 10 days when my pruning shears get here :) (used scissors this time :D) Someone told me to watch out for harvesting these plants at different times. i didnt pay enough attention and now the drying process is slightly awkward. i cut a cereal box to allow fresh air in and hot air out the top and to minimize light degrading thc on the buds while drying. i spread the buds and trim out and left it near the passive intake on my tent. will probably be 3-5 days to dry. cant wait to sample the dry buds! and ive seen people online saying the Rhino Pro filters were garbage but i havent had one single issue, mine blocks all smells just incase anyone was thinking on buying one. i got a size larger than i needed as i have heard is more effective :) Day 68 - 14/11/19 i have been drying a few buds for 18 hours in the tent now and decided to test them. a nice head high. wasnt quite matured enough yet and wasnt fully dried or even cured but very nice :) cant wait to harvest fully in a few days time!
