Harvest day 70 since time switch to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) Finally it's time 💚 The lady is done the large leaves have been removed and hung upside down to dry in the dark drying room. You can now stay there for 13-15 days at a temperature of 16-18 degrees and 55-59% humidity. After 13-15 days it is neatly trimmed by hand and placed in jars with boveda packs 62. After 4 weeks Boveda 58% come in and are ready for testing ;-). After everything has been cut cleanly, the last update comes with the smoke report and the finished pictures. Let's get to the plant 💚. Unfortunately, the rating system at Growdiaries is a bit strange because I have to give the stars before the Smoke Report and in the end it might have led to more stars in terms of taste. . hey all, let's do an experiment with budswelling and without ! i know it will not be exact science but i will give some insight if it works or not. i have got 2 C.banana and 2Royal Gorilla on 1 plant of each sort i have done my budswelling so we can compare both strains and the effect at the end of harvest to see if it makes a difference or not. in my believe it makes a difference but i can not prove it maybe this will give an idea if it makes a difference or not. also i have put an video on how i do the budswelling with scissors or with fingers. i prefer to do it with fingers it's a lot quicker then with scissors. You need to do this on al the buds not only on top. Some say you need to do this every week but i only do it after 3or 4 weeks into flowering.

Going well and strong in this week , Feed upped a touch and reacted very well , Quite impressed with this quantum board led light so far Also plucked off the petal leafs and first set of branches as they are non productive branches to work with Water is heated to 22oC and then cal mag is added till a level is set to 0.4 and stir in very well then add base nutes of mIcro stir very well then gRow then stir very well then add bloom stir very well and then finally b52 and stir in very well

New week! Tips and help from last week, I had around 1500 ppm and I did flush my roots in water and change everything. Now is around 1000 ppm and dropping 150 ppm a day. Did read about water level in DWC and how to increase the grow with water. I had the water almost up to the root or the level of there the basket is. Now I have 1-2 inch (2-5 cm) below where the roots come out. This create air roots. I'm not sure if it's the air roots or the ppm but my flower is boosting. Can se buds grow!! Trimming so I can keep the same hight. Have any tips or rekomandation? Only have one question for next week and this is: it's looking a bit thigth between the buds and all of the leaf is cristal on it. Should I cut some more leaf? And what leaf should I trim? Is so thigth in there. Or will it grow fine?

Wow a long week, experiment definitely started showing differences but also mistakes were made. First I missed a watering a let them get too dry soil starting to stay a dark color and threw me off... But watered and fed anyway but I think because I was using pH drops to test water (didn't know how easy it is to break the meters) I may have made concentration too acidic or soil turning acidic. I don't think there is any nutrient burn just deficiencies (calcium and phosphorus) but I could be wrong. Ordered cal-mag just in case. One thing I've noticed not sure if it is only because 5 gal pots but plants 1 nd 2 looking massive. I may only use 5 gal pots next time but still early to tell. If anyone wants more info on what I'm trying to test or see something I'm doing wrong plz comment. PS soil is waaaay different than hydro lol

We had a bit of a high PH when testing last night so managed to get her balanced out back to 6.3 but some yellow leaves on her. At the same time she's looking buddy and nice, we have cooler and less sunny days this week so hopefully she'll still make the most of the light and plump up some good fill on those colas. I can't see how she'll go to 10+ weeks but hey, we'll soon find out! Learning as I go on these. First grow, first outdoor grow, so all very much an experiment and learning from reading on here, so thanks to you all!

8/20 D37 Pics : Ceila 22"x21"x15" Side and Top and she is not really much bigger than the rest weight wise Full tent, this is why I just ordered a bigger boat... they just keep growing. I am going to have them on bloom nuets and water until the new tent is set up in a couple of days hopefully. The five gal pots are a real keeper just need a bigger tent for flowering, the 4x4 with sperate seedling and mini veg area will be fine. They are looking better not being so jammed up and the light can even be moved up as the side coating is excellent, plenty of light. Climate conditions inside the tent are ridiculously easy to control just from the increased area inside may hold plenty of fans, humidifier, or whatever else is needed. Not to mention being able to stand inside the tent with the plants. The smaller tent is being given veg duties for the next rotation. Fed Rchrg/Bio-bloom-grow just no deficiencies at this point to address, everything seems fine 8/25 D42 End of week First real haircuts for all , leafy strain but easy to work. Tried to get as many sites uncovered completely as possible yet keep the total under 5% so as not stress the plant too much. Worked on the bottoms (heh) of the plants so nothing will restrict air flow or hijack nuets, Will replace these pics with better later, color correction is not as strong as we would wish.
