Flowering and defoliation

Allot of the same this week, fed allot as the plant seemed very thirsty. Growth increase, brown pistols, and tric start of cloudy. The smell is lovely, very fruity and extremely strong. As a long time smoker knowing the smell I wonder what a untrained nose would smell and what they think it would be. Harvest day 73, if I can give her longer I will, as you can see in pics I did not really defoliate at all perhaps 10% as per advice and I kept her low, tied her down to early I believe, will allow for more stretch next time. Live and learn. I just have purchased some advanced nutrients flawless finish so hoping for some smoke easy on the old lungs. Salutations

Week 6 At the beginning of the week I simply finger pressed the new node growth to begin separation and branch direction. 3 days after the last topping, I set up the tomato rings and attempted to tie down train the branches. In retrospect I should have given another day of growth before trying to tie to the new nodes. One plant made the LST training without issues(green tomato ring), however I snapped 2 center colas on the second plant(orange tomato ring). From experience I know that these will not produce tall colas since it happened so late in Veg, so I decided to completely remove them and will monitor for any new growth on those nodes to remove it. So now Im growing an 8set Mainline And a 6/4 set Manifold: Mainline : is a planned topping and defoliation of every cola that makes all topped splits have roughly the same distance to the roots for water ways by removing all other growth along at the same point on any cola. Ideally this helps generate mostly equal buds along the whole cola after each topped split and then the whole plant without having to use scrog nets and just local support ties instead. In a Mainline you remove any other growth that would otherwise need those water ways to grow as well, so Manifold: is the same thing as Mainline but in Manifold you leave a few branches to grow from a lower start point on any cola and then remove everything else. Ideally this gives mostly the same benefit as Mainline but if planned correctly allows you to be finished topping in just 2 separate topping days rather than 3 separate topping days. (I am using it here to correct this late veg mistake in my breaks) The tie downs are positioning 6 of the colas to grow out flat until it can reach the outer bend of the tomato rings where I will allow them to stretch straight up in bloom. 2 cof the colas will have the lowest node of braches growing up in the middle for a total of 4 branches. However in the 8 cola plant I am also training 6 to the outer ring and 2 colas to grow up in the center of the ring. Feed this week was again an auto pot reservoir feed at 400ppm total before add-ins. I used 360ppm Veg concentrate mix (recipe week 2) and 40ppm Bloom concentrate mix (recipe above). However, I also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) to all feeds and ph balance this week was for 6.3. Next week will consist of more LST training with a simple move of the wires as needed. Feed will increase in total ppm and bloom mix and I plan to reduce ph to the 5.8 range slowly, so about 6.1 this week and 5.9 next before flip on week 9.

I'm turning my tent into a citrus garden 🍊🍧🧡 I will be growing autoflowers: Orange Sherbet by Fastbuds and Cream Mandarin XL by SweetSeeds just like I did with Mimosas. This seed is full of vigor. Germinated without any problems in substrate in 4 days on schedule, without any hesitation. Didn't need any help with the shell and didn't care about low humidity. That's what I want to see in my seeds. I was having all kinds of issues with seeds lately but this one wants to live love laugh. I guess we'll see, let's go growmies 🙌 She spent the first two days in a cup, day 3 I carefully transplanted her into her final pot before roots got to the sides of the cup. I hope she won't notice. Perdi mais uma semente , agora vamos tocar essas duas para ver se elas crescem bem saudáveis e fortes. Nice smell

So far I keep training back the branches to keep the tops even, they’re responding well. I might top the middle plant this week if I am going to top her. Kicked up the base nutrients and added in a few root boosters and bud dandy to prep fo flower. I’m probably 2 weeks from flowering, but I should be transplanting near the end of the week and moving into the flower tent a few days later.

Day 42 - Ladies are growing great, some are growing a little faster than others but all in all very happy with this run so far! Thanks for following & happy growing friends!✌️🏼🌱 Day 43 - All of these ladies expect for 1 white widow & 1 orange sherbet keep having problems, yellowing leaves, rust spots, not sure if it’s me or what the issue is considering 2 of them are doing great😬😬 Day 44 - Watered the ladies today, going to give them some calmag next watering when my new PH meter gets here! Day 47 - Buds are starting to get much bigger on a few of the ladies & a lot more frosty!😍

Wow these genetics are awesome the plant has grown so much in the last week after i put her into the bigger pot. The growth took off fast after I topped her and started to spread her out with the LST training . Been feeding her hard and I'm looking forward to how this next week is going to go lots of growth .. 7/8/25 Starting to look very very nice. Some nice purple flakes on the edges of the sugar leaves with bright hairy orange pistils on nice bulbous shaped buds. Very strong sherbet smell coming from this plant now. Reminiscent of the RS11 clone
