week 3, at day 21 I started to defoliate. needs more airflow around colas. This is the start of defol, will clean and prune as needed next week. Stretching has slowed and colas are starting to stack. Ran a sort of modified manafold into the scrog. "V" on the left has 15 tops from 4 main stalks, she was topped to 4th node early on. "Blue nemo" was topped to the 3rd node early, she has 18 tops after the week 3 prune of the week lowers who couldnt make it up to the canopy. I left some popcorn buds down low that have began to develop, will throw these in the ice water hash after harvest.

A sad week, I found bud rot and had to take my plants out and do a big check and remove all dense underdeveloped growth. It will be a pretty big hit on the yield I guess but the most important thing is learning and that I did. The bud rot could spread due to my RH being 65/70 at nights and it used to be +80 before, + bad airflow. I got new fans in the tent and my dehumidifier was ordered already but its not in yet. On the other side, the plants are looking pretty damn good, they smell amazing and 3 of the 4 plants is getting a very dense nug structure.

The girls look healthy, happy, and smell delicious, kinda sweet citrusy. I'm overall satisfied so far. They have some crystals forming on them as well. I feel like it's gonna be a successful grow. But don't think I'm gonna use Green-O-Matic again, it's not as short as I wanted it to be, and it has unstable phenotype. I hope the effects are nice and relaxing though.

This week, we introduced a SCROG (Screen of Green) net, an essential tool for maximizing yield and optimizing plant structure. Let’s dive deep into the why and how of scrogging: Why Install a SCROG Net Now? Maximizes Light Exposure: The net allows even light distribution across all branches, ensuring every bud site gets the optimal amount of light. Controls Plant Height: By guiding the branches through the net, we keep the canopy even and prevent excessive vertical growth. Enhances Airflow & Reduces Mold Risks: Spreading the plant out increases air circulation, reducing humidity pockets and minimizing risks of mold and pests. Increases Yield: More bud sites exposed to light mean higher-quality flowers and greater overall production. For now, we’re still not using the under-canopy lights, though they will come into play soon. The ICL 300 is positioned strategically, and we will likely move them around as needed later. For now, the focus is on structuring the plants and ensuring they fill out the available space properly. Optimizing Airflow - The Vortex Effect Air circulation is crucial for plant health, and this week, we’ve optimized airflow by positioning the fans to create a vortex effect: Fan Positioning: Each fan is placed at the tent corners, pointing in different directions, ensuring dynamic airflow instead of direct wind hitting the plants. Benefits of a Vortex System: Reduces hot spots and evenly distributes CO₂. Strengthens stems by creating a natural resistance. Prevents stagnant air, reducing mold and pest risks. The extraction system is powered by an AeroFan, connected to the AeroFan Smart Remote FRC1, currently running at 60% speed. This setup efficiently manages humidity and temperature while maintaining optimal air exchange. Current Environmental Conditions & Feeding For now, we’re maintaining the same water schedule and nutrient regimen. The environmental conditions remain stable: Temperature: Holding steady at ideal growth levels. Relative Humidity: Balanced to encourage healthy transpiration. PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density): Kept at optimal levels to support vigorous vegetative growth. CO₂ Levels: Elevated but within safe limits, promoting faster growth. The plants are filling the space beautifully, but we know that the flip to flower is approaching soon! The next phase will depend on how fast they continue to spread, and adjustments will be made accordingly. Closing Thoughts & What’s Next? Day 66 : Her buds are full of crystals and are so dense. The smell is really strong stinky skunk like GZ , but GZ smell is more acidic. Her crystals are milky and soon will start to amber. Breeder refers that will be pretty mature in 70 days. Not in my case :D we will see in 4 days, in next watering. For now no ambers. I prefer to cut when we have 15%-20% amber and 80%-85% milky, because after the smoke is very heavy for my taste. Edit Day 70 : She watered with juices and i continue until i see first signs of amber trichomes. Still no ambers. She has gained so much weight , side branches cant lift their self. I think she will be the heavier. You can understand her weight if u lift it.

This girl flowers and branches are very heavy Despite not being sugar coated Flowers She is still in development and will become much more heavy . I think that we are looking at probably three more weeks of development to start to check on flower Maturity maybe more but despite being treated Brutally she is a survivor with so much Height she is ideal for our Canadian outside summer. From 3 plants, from seed to harvest, one of them took only 74 days, the other two, took another week for 81 days. On their last days I Kept them under 48hrs of light instead of 48 hrs of darkness. Overall I’m happy with this harvest, white widow from fastbuds never disappoints 😉
