OMG THE CRYSTALS! Wow first time using any carbohydrates on hydro. I even went with a low dose of 5ml per gal to top it off! The buds grew funky shaped not sure why. But they are really filling in now! And the smell is amazing. Prob 5x stronger then the monther plant that finished flowering in soil not hydro. Hello my fellow Growers👊 It was another Great week for the Kush Fromage 🙌 All the pictures were taken on Sunday, which was Day 42 of Flower. She is really starting to reek the whole area up. It is a very earthy kush like smell with fresh grapes on a grapevine mixed in, it's a very unique smell😊 She is supposed to be a very heavy resin producer and have a high THC and CBD content. Anywhere from 18-26% THC and ~3% CBD according to the breeder. I can tell you this it is one very very resinous plant😵 even the fan leaves and smaller leaves that have no trichomes on them have developed an oily resin on them. It's awesome so I can definitely say it is a heavy resin producer. If a sugar leaf touches another leaf you can see an oily resin where it touched it, my fingers get sticky just from the fan leaves👍The breeders estimated time of Flower is around 63 Days. So we got a few more weeks to go!! I hope the buds will fill in a good bit more but I am not counting on them getting huge due to this strain being more on the quality over quantity side of things. It's not a bad producer and I'm sure they can get some pretty huge flowers on em, but I have seen plants that can produce way more, but this strain makes up for it in its potency and resin production. Plus I personally like the Quality over quantity strains. Gorilla Cookies are doing great, they are stacking very nicely. I am liking the nose spacing on these girls so far. Introduced some more of the Bonnie nutrients from Cronk not too much though, this is a potent nutrient mix and I would recommend using 1/4 of what they say to start with and see how the plant responds. RH and temps have been consistent, trying to make them comfortable as to get a week or two more of veg before they flower. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️

Ill start monitoring Trichome colour as of next week. Buds have been fattening up nicely, still look a little airy to me. Lollipopped half the plant and dried some of the trim out and gave it a taste. Quite tasty but a few weeks to go yet I suspect. I'll leave the trim on the plant still infront of the fan to stop it leeching too much humidity out of the buds. End of next week is advertised flowering time for this plant. But we'll see how we go.

So pleased with the growth, this week I put a net up to separate out the buds a bit and trimmed the plants to try and get more light to the lower buds. Instead of replacing the water, I'm now directly recycling and adding nutrients and additives. I found the easiest way was to pump the system out into another bucket so I could measure more accurately how much to add and then replace the mix back in the system. The grow room smells wonderful. I'm so looking forward to when I can try it.

After 11 weeks, I harvested the plants in two stages. It went faster than I thought, and the yields are impressive. The yields are much better for the four plants that I was able to keep shorter in height. They developed more dense, firm buds than the taller four plants, which is why I harvested them a few days later. I only watered with water during the last week and lowered the light to 600-700 ppfd. I'm drying now at 20 degrees Celsius and 55-60% relative humidity until the first stems snap, then the herb goes into hygrometer jars for curing. This time I trimmed wet because there were some really thick branches, and I didn't want to risk mold. All in all, it looks like a good harvest. I misjudged the height with this strain. I thought I could keep the plants relatively short by using topping and LST (low-stress training). This only worked for half of them. One of the plants was about 3 cm below the light, which is really suboptimal because I have no space above. I might have chosen a smaller pot size and swapped the plants' positions more often. I was also a bit too cautious with defoliation and pruning, but this was planned as an experiment to grow bushier plants, which didn't make me as happy in my application. Due to the high CO2 content, the cannabis grows exceptionally bushy and leafy. It requires regular pruning. The buds themselves have turned out really well. They are nice and firm, some quite large, and covered with many trichomes. The smell of the strain is less intense than I thought but still very pleasant.

Day 28 - 35 I did a bit of defoliation and also bent a bit more branches to provide more light it the lower part. I hope she is happy, the only thing that I know is that she is making me happy every time look at her

Le piante hanno qualche carenza, ho provato a rimediare con il thè organico e con il concime di copertura anche questo organico, ma sembrano non bastare. Questa settimana ho usato dei concimi organo-minerali per avere un effetto più efficace... Si spera🤞. Comunque, tralasciando qualche foglia ingiallita, i fiori si stanno sviluppando bene e hanno un profumo davvero ottimo!
