This grow is going to be really interesting. I have never grown sativa dominant hybrids before because I was always scared I would not have enough room. However, last season I had a really good run growing VERY short plants (see Mighty Minis) and it got me thinking, why not. So here we are; I'm growing 1 Blue Dream and 1 MelonSicle this round. Both are Sativa hybrids so I am hoping the stretch will not be too intense; no more than 2.5 original height before flowering. The blue dream I bought with the previous rounds of clones I got because I have herd that if trained well, this plant can PRODUCE. The plan is to continuously top, and train until the MelonSicle has caught up and is ready for flower. I will have the room to flower about 2 months from now so this Blue Dream is going to be a 2/2 table top by the time I am ready. Very excited about this one, also a little nervous.

At the end of week 3 I topped one of the strawberry cough they are all looking good and starting to veg I’m all caught up with the grow diary’s and will add at the end of every week. I’m in Australia and did start a little late into the season but hope to get a decent grow in they will be at my brothers once transplanted and he has a few aswel that I will add into the grow log nothing but sun and water only use a little thrive that’s from Bunnings that I get from my pops shed. They will be in a nicer cleaner soil when transplanted into veggie beds and will have chicken poo as a nutrient source first time ever using chicken poo so see how it goes. Will keep the grow log updated and hopefully everything goes all well for the travel and transplant for the plants in the next few days

So this was quite the week...I was looking over our set up, and making sure Grandma has everything she needs when she says "it seems to me that we need a vegetation cabinet." Turns out she had all the supplies too. Cracked me up...so I ended up building a nice little veg / drying cabinet. You'll see it in the second Meph run diary, was too busy to get some shots today. 😅 She doubled in size from last week, super happy with the progress. She's under a combo of flouro and LED in the new cabinet and LOVING it. Started ramping in nutrients slow and steady, keeping the c02 around 600-800ppm while I finish up the environmental control in the new cabinet. I realized that Mephy, might be a flight risk...so I made her a pen. 😂 ...also removed any confusion on her breed. She stayed small, in the veg stage its a bit a challenge to get the branches going its important u give all heads light by bending the big leaves under them, dont defoliate the big leaves as long the branches havent reached out over the pot, once she flowers she gave a quick stretch and all head started bulcking in no time. I love blue dream

Esta variedad suele ser poco productivas pero una pasada para fumar o hacer cualquier tipo de extracción. La Blue Gelato 41 todo fue para ice y la verdad que un sabor increible! Una buena genética farmers!🍁

26.12.24: These are my 2 best plants P1 and P2 Purple Punch, they are looking great! Not sure what happened to P3. They are in early flower/ pre-flower with the pistils clearly seen on P2. I am also hoping to tie some of the branches down to help light penetration on the lower canopies. I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. Hallo to You all my familly and usual visitors. Thank you for stopping by and all the likes and comments....You make my day! I gave the Blue Cheese a trim on 5th december and gave her four days of darkness, the chop was performed on december 9th I took a lot of photographs and videos commemorating these events for you to enjoy :) I think she came out quite decent especially considering that she had some monster/deformed leaves till the 4th week of veg. also looking back I should have moved her to the bigger place in that time...she would be far more symmetrical ;) It was a joy to work with Mars Hydro and their equipment in this grow. The smallest plant 1 in front actually broke but somehow managed to catch the elders who are roughly 1.5 weeks older

A sad week, I found bud rot and had to take my plants out and do a big check and remove all dense underdeveloped growth. It will be a pretty big hit on the yield I guess but the most important thing is learning and that I did. The bud rot could spread due to my RH being 65/70 at nights and it used to be +80 before, + bad airflow. I got new fans in the tent and my dehumidifier was ordered already but its not in yet. On the other side, the plants are looking pretty damn good, they smell amazing and 3 of the 4 plants is getting a very dense nug structure.

I love these small phenos with huge yield. It was perfect i wish all phenos were like this one.
