hi, the two plants are doing well and continue in their flowering and the odors they produce are increasing and these two have a sweet smell but also notes of wild fennel, or noticed that one of the two plants has a Polyploidy mutation in the flowers, for the rest, nothing has changed, they are still fed earthworm humus which was placed in the soil and cane sugar when given to drink with a controlled pH of 6.3/6.4

Germination 07/09/2022 Hi to all the old and new growers out there. Spring has barely started but I'm so AMPED to start again. My first grow attempt was a disaster. I started to early for the season. I wasted some good seeds and those Blasted 🐌 🐌 snails messed up everything. Got up started again and took it as a learning curve. I had 1 seed left from the previous attempt and this had to be the golden ticket. The first important thing I learned was getting to the correct pH. Used a 1 liter jug not knowing that the pH down was very concentrated substance. Added 1ml of pH down to tap water with a base of 8.5+ pH and brought it down all the way to less than 4.5 pH. I probably tried like 5 times and realized that a single drop made a difference of about 2 pH. I got the feel of it and had to source a better water supply. I had the option of using tap water but didn't have the time to do a 24 hour airstone run ever time I wanted to water the plants. The local water supply shop was a better option. I got a consistent 6 pH and the price was decent. The Snail 🐌 Problem... I have a plan for those F**kers. We have 2 very nice hydroponic shops in my city. Thought my growth was stunted but I came back from a 5 day vacation to some pretty consistent growth. Also the one from last week with the weird growth came out looking normal after the first couple leaves.

These lights are a bit hot so I’m gonna upgrade to my Luxx 645s for the rest of this run.

We are at day 14 and things are running smooth for the most part. Topped most the plants on day 10 and a couple of the slower ones on day 12. Twisted helix had a root issue showing droopy leaves and some abnormal color. She is showing some growth so the roots are developing and I expect her to catch up over the next couple weeks. Got some clones that were taken late flower on the last run and those will veg for a couple weeks before switching them back to flower and forcing a couple to produce pollen. Other than that just going to let everyone grow a little before starting some training.

For the past month, the humidifier has been an issue putting out way too much humidity; often leaving water in the bottom of the tent. In addition, the temperatures are also out of control. I added an AC last week to keep the temperature below 80. I finally determined the exhaust vent is also broken and has been for some time. AC Infinity does not extend the warranty to the replacement parts. I guess that makes sense since they would be in a state of perpetual free replacements. I bought a new one from Amazon that came with a new controller which is different from the controller 69 currently using. I decided that while it is very inconvenient and inefficient to monitor the tent through the day, I would rather finish this Frostbanger run without introducing a new unknown variable. I will continue using 3 circulating fans, the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This creates a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. It looks like growth has stopped and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All 6 of them are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. #4, 5 &6 are showing some fade, particularly #4. Upon opening the tent, a melon smell comes off the buds if I get close, and more stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. They are living up to the new strain’s name. #5 is the frostiest followed by #2. Wow week 3 of flower and that much frost already. Hello to all growers. This week has been quiet, my leaves are turning a bit yellow, but hopefully some food will fix that. Otherwise, I am very satisfied, the volume of the drumsticks has increased by 100 percent. I assume from the trichomes that another two weeks, maybe a little longer. Keep it growing friends 👊🌱🌴

Thursday 16th march day 59 Harvested a couple days earlier then planned as my humidity was getting a bit high and worried about risking mold I decided to chop, have to get a good dehumidifier soon, everything looking lovely, nice and dense with very strong fruity potent smell definitely the best looking plants I have grown to date not the biggest buds but they look quality, chopped plants whole gonna do my best to keep the temp and rh% in the dry room as close 60/60 as I can to get a nice slow dry, 🍁😎 I only took the wet weight from 1 plant back left plant was 270g with large fan leaves removed

Looks like she ran outta nutes, leaves are showing some deficiency signs. So I started feeding her with a diluted mix I normally use for my bigger girl in bloom — around 500 PPM. Let’s see if she bounces back. Honestly, I’m not a fan of growing in soil… but that’s probably ‘cause I don’t fully get it yet. You gotta stay on top of things and fix issues as they come. In coco? It’s pretty much autopilot.

2-3 full node sets on the remaining 3. Ol' helmet did not make it. Still hand watering but getting the #autopot cleaned and ready for use. Mixed the buffered coco into some perlite. This big ol' hand-me0-down cooler is a must have!
