Flowering Week 28: Blueberry – The Final Countdown Update: 25.09.2025 | Day 202 Hey Growmies, With her African BFF now harvested, the spotlight is fully on Blueberry – and she’s loving the attention. Here’s where we stand as we approach the finish line. Plant Status & Progress - She’s still asking for at least one more week, ideally two, to fully ripen. - Her structure remains gorgeous – long, elegant colas that keep fattening up daily. Compared to Durban’s dense nuggets, Blueberry’s buds are longer and more slender, but don’t let that fool you – they’re packing on weight. - Mold-free so far, even with all the rain. A true testament to her genetics and maybe a little grower’s luck. Aroma & Readiness - The smell is just… wow. Sweet, berry-bubblegum-like, and intensely aromatic even before full maturity. - My goal is to let most of her go until ~20% amber trichomes, but the weather is doing its best to ruin the plan. Weather Woens & Harvest Plans - Rain has been relentless for almost two weeks – nature’s way of balancing out that dry spring. - I may pre-harvest a few top colas next week to ensure I salvage at least some of this deliciousness if mold appears. As Mike Tyson said: “Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face.” Well, the weather is throwing haymakers. Next Steps - Pray for a dry week (or at least a few sunny days) - Keep a close eye on trichomes and bud density - Prepare for a possible staggered harvest Week 28 Takeaway Blueberry’s testing my patience in the best way possible. The plant is definitely a large plant with a lot of potential to make big long buds it has some of type leaves. I hope the bud fatten up a little though the plant has a strong gas and nutty cream smell it’s really nice it over powers all the other plants on the smell factor

Another good run and another home run on this strain. Just everything about it is amazing. The smell, the look, the taste the high, all amazing. The scrog came out nicely and produced a fair amount of bud. One thing I would like to mention is I only flushed for one day. The dry time in the tent was 15 days as it was quite humid here but a nice slow dry is alright with me!!! This harvest report is after 2 weeks of daily burping. So about a month, maybe little more from harvest. I can say I definately agree with the old timers that the flsuh is not important its the dry and cure. She is super smooth and tastes great already with little cure. The ash is also nice and white!! skip the flush but slow down drying is my thoughts for the future. after 2 weeks of burping in the big jar I move them to 20ish gram jars for the remainder of their curing time. As far as weight goes, I was a little off on my guess, I think I guessed 122 but 92 isnt all that bad. The tent harvest was mid 500's but a couple of the other strains from a different breeder really slacked on the weight so overall I'm happy. compost teas seem to be really liked by these three girls. loving the growth on them. bud developement is good but not great. i think these girls are stressing the f%ck out still from the thrips, early fungus issues in veg and overall real bad things ive done to them (low temps,, low light etc etc)

Week 7 in the comedy of my garden journey, and my green squad has decided to embrace the art of being vertically challenged – they're like the plant version of a pocket-sized superhero team. "Short and sassy" seems to be their new motto. In an attempt to uplift their spirits, two of the ladies scored a new, roomier 3-gallon final home – it's like they moved from a cozy apartment to a botanical mansion, hoping a change of scenery would inspire some vertical ambition. They're probably comparing their new homes and deciding who has the fanciest leafy chandelier. However, the plot thickens as one plant emerges with a leafy fashion statement that's a bit too avant-garde – discoloration that could rival a Picasso painting. Is it a magnesium deficiency or an oxygen rebellion? The plant might as well be holding a tiny protest sign that says, "Give me answers or give me wilting!" Playing the role of a plant detective, I cranked up the fans, turning my grow tent into a botanical wind tunnel. It's like a leafy hurricane is sweeping through, and my plants are either loving the breeze or planning their escape. As a bonus, I threw in a leafy spa day – deformation and topping, because who doesn't love a good horticultural makeover? But wait, there's more! In the midst of the botanical sitcom, the humidity decided to play the villain in this leafy drama. It's like the humidity gauge is staging a rebellion of its own. So, armed with misters and perhaps a leafy motivational speech, I'm on a mission to turn my grow tent into a tropical paradise and give my plants the humidity vacation they didn't know they needed. Week 7 – where the plants are short, the homes are upgraded, the leaves are avant-garde, and the humidity is throwing a curveball. Plant is fine, except one stormy night the weather is just fine. Heard that is gonna be a nice September, hope they are right. I plan to cut the tree on the second/third week of September. Yes some yellowing leaves, I still think is the aging process and a little bit of K deficiency, that should have decreased, and looks like it has, new growth are just fine and there is no worsening. Still watering with: Big bud, 2 ml x L CalMag 2 ml x L Bio Bloom 3 ml x L silica, one tablespoon neem oil propolis aloe

After the shock of all gelatos showing male signs, we got our shit together and removed all balls !! Zkittlez is getting out of tent for her black period tomorrow, giving our bigger gelato more space !! We still have one week and a half before Zki2 leave the tent and let the girls ride !! The final 4-5 weeks will go mad !! Need to clean our hps bulb and cooltube.. Tangie will go to their space, cuz she didnt show balls, so less maintance.. cheers and dont give up on hermies.. maybe it was just a bad day !! Temp dropped with a polar mass coming to our town, and water was freezing !! Light leaks were considered too, overwatering/feeding were disconsidered LST and rearrengement will be done as soon as Zkittlez mature..
