Jan 22nd - tonight the feeding involves Aerated Compost Tea; 4L ea. (menu above) * compost tea looked like a cup of tea. Golden and slightly murky, the tea had reduced the nutrient load to small particles. It just felt right feeding this liquid concoction. Will be looking for changes / surprises these next few days - back to the G.P. liquid routine for the finish… - Black Willie gets thirsty faster, their meals may become seperate events very soon - due to slightly alkaline soil conditions lately, I have balanced the pH of the AC Tea to a 6.3 to help drive the Soil pH lower. Acid was diluted in cups of (good)water and added in sequence to gently drop the 8.3pH of ac tea. 24th - brewing a tea, as listed above, for tomorrow. 2 in a row is a first. Water pH’d to 6.5 b4 adding ingredients. Ppm @ 385 w/ingredients and bubbling Jan 25th - stuck with the plan and used normal Green Planet routine; 4.5L - looked like it snowed on the buds 26th - lifted the Scrog, no Tall threats at this stage. (Making watering to run-off so much easier) Jan 28th - last day of the week - soil checks etc., dinner in a perfect world

These ladies have blown up since last week almost tripled the size in 7 days. I'm thinking that the new soil I'm using is better than what I previously used which was roots organic 707 now I'm using FoxFarms happy frog. Other than that watering with half the normal dose of nutrients for now until they use up the nutes in the soil. Temperature never moves at a steady 72° F all day and night even with the lights on. I can tell these are going to produce some nice thick flowers 🌿💚

Hey now! This week went pretty well, I did notice my EC of my runoff was getting pretty high on day 65, it got up to about 1.9, and my nutrient solution going in was at 1.6. I ended up mixing a bucket of my normal fertilizer, and hand watering all the places my drip ring wasn't really hitting, and i got the EC back down to about 1.7. I also got a tip from MrJones to setup some type of support for the colas. I ended up tying some 550 (parachute) cord across the top of my tent poles, then I ties little loops around the colas with the same soft cord. I then used wire ties to attach the loops to the 550 cord. I also am slowly reducing my EC, as I believe I only have a couple weeks left. I am also going to be switching from Liquid KoolBloom to Dry KoolBloom at some point later in week 10. If anyone has any experience on the correct timing of this switch to ripening formula, please hit me up! I am still struggling a bit with heat and humidity, and am considering buying another dehumidifier for my next grow. As always, Thank you to everyone for all of your encouragement, support and tips!! So this is my first diary here and I'm going to start from week 11 so there's should only be another week or two left. My next one I'll do properly from the start. Also this feeding schedule was the last ammendment I did but was in week 10 and not this week. As I only started on week 11 I thought I'd just add it to show what I've given her. This is just 1 Northern Lights Autoflower from Royal Queen Seeds. I've topped her twice and done some LST and lollipopped just as she was going into flower..which was around week 5. I use 100% organic top soil amendments from Living Soils every 2 weeks. I water about 2 days after the top soil goes completely dry only in the mornings. And she's on a 20/4 light cycle. I vegged her in a standard plastic pot then transplanted at the end of week 5 into a 10l pot with the coco loaded with all of the above (minus the guano which I added at the start of week 3 of flower) with the aim of her hitting those amendments at the right time..so I wouldn't have to amend again for another 2 weeks which seemed to work out. I tested the run off shortly after the first feeding for flowering and it was really high - 3000ppm - alongside the pH which which was really low - 4.89 (as expected as its runoff) however I had oyster shell in that first feeding which should help raise the pH and my local tap water is hard so there's extra Calcium and a bit of Megnesium in there too. I also added a couple of drops of biobizz ph+ to the water. And with the mycorrhizae..which should kick in and colonise the root system in about 3 to 4 weeks..should create a mycillium network to help this living soil regulate everything!! Which it did as I tested the runoff again everytime I fed (every 2 to 3 days) and it slowly went down ending up at 1000ppm and a pH of 5.9 which was spot on. I also had a massive scare as I found small white bugs in the medium when I disturbed the top soil. Thinking they were spider mites thankfully they were Symphalans which after researching eats seedling roots or decaying organic matter..so they're essentially cleaning the medium..and they stay under the soil away from the light. She is pretty small and compact. I'm testing autoflowers as I've never tried them before. I'm slightly annoyed as I knocked my dimmer down to 60% without realising..so out it back to 100% and as a result I'm guessing she may have been stunted along with topping her twice or maybe it's just the strain. But I have seen other a lot bigger. But she is looking really healthy and has done from the start. The colour you see has been there from the start and she hasn't had any deficiencies. Tricones are coming along nicely and some of the sugar leaves look like they're starting to deplete in nutritients as they're going slightly yellow on the edges so not long. I'm guessing 2 more weeks from today but I wouldn't be surprised if she hits 13 weeks which is what I'm hoping for as her last feed was last week which would give her an extra week to 'flush'. Also the Bat Boost from Guanokalong has an NPK ratio of 0-10-0 and not 0-0-2 like it states. April 26, 2024 Day 71 It's a new week and the start of late flower. It was also cleaning day. Both reservoirs have been cleaned out and are freshly loaded with new water. This week we are focusing on watering and nutrients. I may start to drop the dose until flush, over this week and the next. The light power will also be gradually dropped down over the next 2 weeks. Not much this week, I think I'll drop the DLI down to 43 mol/m²/d in the middle of the week. Next week I'll drop it down to 38 mol/m²/d. It all depends on what the plants look like. The plants are getting ready to hunker down and finish up. Both have decent sized buds and just need to finish swelling. I'd say another 2 weeks maybe? Flushing will start at some point over the next 2 weeks as well. Flushing won't be much of a big deal as it's just cleaning the reservoirs and running a week of Flawless Finish. The environment is changing a bit as well. I dropped the day temp down to 75° and the night temps to 65° or lower. Not cold enough to cause stress, but enough to get some purple I hope. The humidity is sitting at 47% and I'll be leaving it there unless somehow I can get it to go lower. For now it's pretty solid at 47% and everything looks great, so no need to worry. I'll be taking trichome pics every few days. One pic for each plant. No point in loading up the whole photo gallery with even more daily pics. Plus, the progression of trichomes isn't fast enough to really notice daily. So every 3 days should be fine. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.2° RH: 47.7% VPD: 1.49 kPa April 27, 2024 Nothing happening today. Both ladies were inspected with no issues. I snipped a single leaf off of Banana Purple Punch B. Just one. Blocking bud sites. Banana Purple Punch A has some massive buds. About the size of golf balls. Maybe a bit smaller. They are still swelling and have a good 2 weeks left. Pistils are still mostly white, so that's a good sign for larger buds and more trichomes. Banana Purple Punch B is looking wonderful as ever. She doesn't seem to be suffering any issues with nutrient burn unlike her sister plant. She's perfectly healthy and has very nice bud production. The buds aren't quite as big as Banana Purple Punch A, but still nice and sizeable. The nutrient burn seems to have stopped for Banana Purple Punch A. So that's good. It should be perfectly fine now. Lighting is staying the same for the next couple of days. Although, I may keep it the same for the rest of the week. The environment is excellent now. It's raining today and the humidity is still at 47%. I did get it down to 44% for most of the afternoon yesterday, so I may be able to keep it down after the rain stops. Or just wait for the afternoon and see what happens. Either way, the humidity is now at 47% and the temp is at 76.8°. The VPD is at 1.57 kPa. A tiny bit high, but still well within range. Last night's temp was a little high at 69°. I'll have to drop the temp lower again to get that 65° sweet spot. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.4° RH: 45.7% VPD: 1.55 kPa April 28, 2024 Not much to do today. I mixed a new batch of nutrients for both plants. The only difference is that I cut the Overdrive in half down to 2 ml/gal. Neither plant needs it, but now it's mixed and ready to go. I may end up filling the reservoirs tonight as it stands. Or later this afternoon. I don't think they will last til tomorrow morning. Both plants are putting off a wonderful aroma. I honestly can't describe it. Like sweet and kind of a hint of banana and a bit heady. Trichome production is picking up quickly. The pistils are starting to turn orange as well. They are definitely in the late flowering stage. I think I'll start dropping the nutrients for the next watering. And I'll drop the DLI down to 40 mol/m²/d tomorrow I think. Not much else to say about nutrients or lighting, so moving on to the environment. It's a warm humid day out and raining off and on. My whole environment is wonky, with humidity being at 57% and the temp at 77°. I turned the AC on about an hour ago and the temp went down to 75°, and humidity up to 60%. I think I'll crank the AC all the way down. And hopefully get rid of the humidity with the temp being a bit lower than perfect. Update: I ended up adding about a half gallon of plain water to both reservoirs. Just Incase I have nutrient lockout or something. They should go through that by tomorrow afternoon. Maybe late evening. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.6° RH: 52.8% VPD: 1.39 kPa April 29, 2024 No watering today. I'm still waiting for the plain water work it's way through. However, I did drop the light power. Both ladies look great. Big buds, great scent and nice color. I'm not seeing any fade yet, but the nutrient burn is still there. I hope it will fix itself with the plain water. And then maybe fading will start. These two need a good 2 weeks or so before harvest. The lighting, as I said, was changed today. I dropped the power down to 70% to get as close as possible to 40 mol/m²/d. I may have to drop it another 10%. I'm not too sure. I'll check the DLI again when I'm more awake. (I'm finally on my second cup of coffee. Lol) Looks good though. Just around where I want it to be. But there are a lot of spots where the DLI is a bit high at 43 mol/m²/d. The tallest tops are also kind of high at 45 mol/m²/d. Again, I'll double check on a couple hours, but it should be fine. The environment is wonky again today. The temp is fine, but the humidity is still high at 60% and I don't see a way to drop it again. Not with the current weather. Hopefully I can get it down with some heat. The AC method did not work. Well, it maybe will work tonight. I'll be dropping that bad boy down to 59° tonight and hopefully it will do what I need it to. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.2° RH: 59.8% VPD: 1.15 kPa April 30, 2024 Watering day. The reservoirs were both nearly empty and there was just enough space for a full gallon in each one. It's the normal nutrient dose with Overdrive being at 2 ml/gal. These two plants are looking mighty fine. Excellent bud swelling and trichome production. I'm definitely going to be wet trimming them instead of my normal dry trim. I may leave the bods on the branches and do a partial wet trim, or I guess mostly wet trim. They smell great! Very strong aroma now. I swear they smell like artificial grape. I can't describe it any other way. Grape and pungent. Awesome. So far the light seems to be fine. No reaching or showing any signs of lack of lighting. They look pretty happy. Although, Banana Purple Punch A is a bit sad from nutrient burn. Banana Purple Punch B however didn't seem to have much of a problem with the burn. The environment is still pretty wonky. High humidity again. I can control the temp pretty easily, but the humidity is another issue. It's currently sitting at 56% and I'm holding the temp at 76°. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.5° RH: 57.0% VPD: 1.26 kPa May 1, 2024 Not a whole lot going on today. No water needed, no light changes. I rotated both ladies 180° so now they are getting light on other sides. I'll leave them like this for the rest of the grow I think. Banana Purple Punch A actually fits better in the new position. Less wall touching and about the same neighboring plant touching. I also removed 3 leaves. Ones that were misshapen from being crushed against the tent walls. Banana Purple Punch B seems to fit a little better in the new position, mostly because of her sister plant. More room on the outside and a little less room inside. No leaves were removed today. I'll reserve that for the last 2 days of the grow cycle. Then I'll do a massive defoliation and then a wet trim. It's humid here right now and I need the space. Otherwise I'd stick with dry trimming. But I can't hold up the tent for 3 more weeks. I have other plants getting ready to be planted in their final containers. Like a week for that, I might be able to squeeze a week and a half, but that's it. They will have a space, but the main tent is where they will need to be. Not a 2x2 dry tent. I'll work it how I need to I guess. Anyway, both ladies look great! Trichome production is coming along nicely as well. They are very smelly now and I love it. They are also still packing on weight I think. Not a ton, but the buds are clearly getting denser now that some of the pistils are starting to turn orange. I'd say another 2 weeks on these two. As I said, the lighting hasn't changed at all. Not for another few days to a week. Then it will have another power drop. Until then, we are staying at a DLI of 40 mol/m²/d. It's roughly 38 mol/m²/d on the outer part of the canopy. The environment is STILL wonky. I cannot for the life of me get that damned humidity down at all. Not with a dehumidifier, not with the heat cranked, not with the AC cranked. I'll try my big dehumidifier in my room, but the humidity is like 49% and frankly I'd rather the room humidity stay there. Much easier to breathe. However, the humidity in the tent is suffering at 59% while the temp is hanging out still at 76° Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.2° RH: 56.1% VPD: 1.27 kPa May 2, 2024 Not a lot going on today. No watering needed, no trimming, nothing. I found a broken bud on Banana Purple Punch A. It must have been from when it was against the wall, or too close to the other plants and got stuck on a branch while I was rotating. Oh well. It's a lower bud, so not huge. It's also the last day of the week and that means new videos! For the rest of the grow, I'll be making weekly videos of the individual plants. So that will.be this week and the next 2 weeks or so. Banana Purple Punch A looks great aside from that one broken bud. Her buds are fat and thick. Super dense from what I can see. I would like to note that the fade hasn't started yet, so we still have that 2 weeks left. Unless it starts in the next day or 2, I'll be banking on 2 weeks. Banana Purple Punch B is still compact as ever, but her buds are getting fatter everyday and of all the plants in the tent, she has done the best with the nutrients. Very little burn and didn't seem to be bothered by it. Maybe I did something early on to have such a small plant, but still. I think I can bank on 2 oz from each plant. Maybe 3 oz. It's really nothing compared to previous grows, but as I said before, as long as it's fire, I'm happy. Trichome production on both plants is fantastic. They are loaded from top to bottom. And building more and more everyday. There's still plenty of time left for there 2 as well. Most of the trichomes are clear with about 20% being cloudy and sparsely amber. That's another sign that they need another couple of weeks. Maybe slightly less. I increased the light power yesterday back up to 80%. I think I was a bit early on the intensity drop, so I'll drop it again in a few days I think. Around mid week coming up. Now we are running a DLI of 43 mol/m²/d inside and 40 mol/m²/d on the outside. The environment kinda fixed itself, but not to the ideal climate. It's still at 55% humidity. Better than 60%, but still not good enough. It needs to be below 50%. However, I can still control the temp and I have it at 74.5°. I'll turn it up a bit and see if I can clear out the last 5% of the humidity. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.7° RH: 55.2% VPD: 1.24 kPa Update: I added a couple test videos to see if they would upload. Success!

11 Sep 2021 Today starts week 2 of the flowering stage and week 10 of life for my lovely Ladies. I did some massive defoliation and pruning the other day and all three of my babies are looking amazing afterwards!! Absolutely beautiful! I have a short video log (I’m not cool enough to call it a vlog), and a few pictures to upload to start this week. I must admit that I really thought I may have overdone the defoliation and pruning, but so far it’s turning out exactly as I had hoped. There are budlets forming at every node, and all three plants are looking healthy and strong. I decided to look at my feed chart and to count backwards from the date that they should be ready for harvest and to arrange their feeding schedule. I made a plan where I can provide a good steady level of nutrients in the proper stage of growth, and schedule time for the flush to be done by the time harvest time arrives. So today I started the Mid-Bloom stage 4 of my Flora-Trio 6 part feeding chart. I’m still giving half the nutrient level until I know there are no issues, then I will adjust to full strength if necessary. At 50% strength each plant was given: CALiMAGic 2ml, FloraMicro 2.4ml, FloraGro 2ml, FloraBloom 4.2ml, Floralicious Plus 1ml, and Liquid KoolBloom 1ml mixed into a gallon of water. The initial pH for all three gallons was 6.3. I wanted to adjust them up, so I added 1.2ml of pH UP to each gallon which adjusted them as follows: C1 - 6.7, and C2/C3 were both adjusted to 6.6. I still don’t have a replacement TDS meter, so only pH was measured in the runoff. Runoff pH was as follows: C1 - 5.9, C2 - 6.1, and C3 - 5.8. The runoff levels of C1 and C3 are still lower than id like, but still manageable. As I mentioned several times above; my plants are looking great, and I plan to keep growing them as they are until this method needs to be adjusted or changed. I’m just letting them grow wild. Granted, I’m trying my best for them to grow the way I want, but I’m not using a support net at all (yet). I say (yet), because once the buds start to bulk up, they may need support to stand upright. If that day comes, I’ll use the net. Time will tell. The temperature in the tent was 82F, and the humidity was 45%. So far my trio is growing beautifully! Enjoy everyone! I am!! 14 Sep 2021 I ended up using only about half of each gallon the other day, so today I gave the rest of each gallon to the perspective plant it belonged to. None of the plants had any real runoff from the amount given today, so I’ll probably start feeding every two days instead of every 3-4. It happens with each grow. The trick is to identify how much they need, and how often. It seems to change with every plant. So as I stated above; each plant received about 1/2 gallon of water and nutrients that was prepared a few days ago. Each plant received CALiMAGic 2ml, FloraMicro 2.4ml, FloraGro 2ml, FloraBloom 4.2ml, Floralicious Plus 1ml, and Liquid KoolBloom 1ml. The pH going in was: C1 - 6.7, C2/C3 - 6.6. As I said above, there wasn’t enough runoff to measure, so I don’t have runoff data today. The temperature in the tent was 84F, and humidity was 57%. I measured each plant and adjusted the lights according to their growth. C1 is now 23 inches tall, C2/C3 are both 23.5 inches tall. I adjusted the lights to all be 15 inches over each plant. Light spill off is still awesome for all three plants, and each one of my lovely ladies is looking absolutely amazing! 15 Sep 2021 My plants are doing AWESOME!! I looked in on them a little earlier today and just sat in my floor and looked at them. They are doing amazing! Absolutely beautiful!! I have used a support (scrog) net for each of my grows so far; till this one. At least so far that is. I may end up putting it in to support the branches once they are loaded with bud, but for right now I have just let them grow as they naturally want too. Of course there are some exceptions to that last statement. At the end of my first week of flower I decided to defoliate and prune them down. I did so much defoliation and pruning that I thought I may have hurt my girls, but nope! They have responded even better than I had hoped. I trimmed off all of the lowest branches that weren’t already long enough to get full light exposure, as well as most of the small intermediate branches growing off of more established branches. The result… every node growing on every branch is developing buds! All of them are getting full light exposure, and ventilation from the fans inside the grow room. These three are looking better than any of my previous plants thus far. I am very pleased with how they’re doing! I’m feeding again today because what I gave them yesterday just didn’t seem sufficient. None of them had any runoff to measure; so I’m going to make sure that they do as well as possible! I’m sticking with the mid-bloom stage 4 of my Flora-Trio 6 part feeding chart at 50% of recommended levels. My plants are doing great at 50% strength so far, so if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it! No deficiencies have been seen, so I’ll keep on keeping on that. Each plant received a mixture of a gallon of water with the following nutrients: CALiMAGic 2ml, FloraMicro 2.4ml, FloraGro 2ml, FloraBloom 4.2ml, Floralicious Plus 1ml, and Liquid KoolBloom 1ml. C1 and C2 didn’t take the whole gallon, but about 3/4 of it. C3 took the whole gallon, but that may be because it is in a bigger pot. The initial pH of each was: C1 - 6.4, C2 - 6.5, and C3 - 6.3. I added pH UP to each as follows: C1 - 2ml, which adjusted to a final pH of 6.7. C2 - 1ml, which adjusted to 6.9, and C3 - 1.5ml, which adjusted to 6.6. I still haven’t gotten another TDS meter, so no TDS data to report. Runoff for all three plants was lower than I expected. C1 was 5.8, and C2/C3 were 5.7. I really expected them to be near 6.2 or thereabouts, but nope. I’m going to have to keep an eye on that. The humidity today was 65%, which is pretty good. The temperature in the tent was 84F. It was over 90F outside today, so hot outside = hot in the tent. 🤷‍♂️ They’re still looking great! Happy growing everyone!

March 27, 2019: For the most part everything is moving along nicely. The CBD Medi Kush has taken off in the flower room. She is 30 inches tall now and showing lots of nice bud site development. So far I have to say I'm impressed with how things are going in the flower room. The organic methods appear to be working very well. The plants all look super healthy, no signs of any deficiencies and the leaves are all the perfect shade of green - not too dark and not too light.
