Both girls started preflower on Tuesday and already I can see that they started stretching nicely. Scrog net will be installed by the end of this week. Week 5 13-19 Nov. 13/11 day 36 First runoff experience for girls. Loaded both pots with approx. 2.5 ltr each in 4 stages of 500-700ml. Runoff 100-150ml from each. Runoff PH 5.9. Nutrients for this watering were same as on previous week and added only calmag. Next watering possibly Friday but with new measurements. 14/11 day 37 Both 🍌💜👊 girls started preflower on same day. Xena is catching up quick to her larger sister and possibly soon they will be sharing this growing space 50/50 15-16/11 days 38-39 Just happy and healthy days 😁 nice steady growth. 17/11 day 40 Second watering for this week. 5.5l beetwen both. Runoff Ph 6.1 19/11 day 42 Most busiest day so far. Both girls got very bushy in last few days and they stretched enough to install scrog net. Hello, Both ladies doing very well now. Wheater changed for now, and there is much more humidity in the air, as less dry burning sun. Had a quick communication with Dutch Passion about the leafs that tend to fold up. They are never nice flat out. But they assured me there is nothing wrong going on. And the plant looks very healthy!! Working on the lady in the greenhouse-ish shed, i wanted to bend the top of the plant, but its allready very stiff. So i managed to break it. 😅👈🤪👈😒👈 There was luckely allready a support attached. And it didnt break all the way. See pics. Its a FIBI, fuck i broke it. 🙌🤣 So its restoring good and the top hasnt started to faint down. So, all good!!! The lady outside is doing very good now, she starts to bush-up. Shes free to grow so, i only did a few chiroprac on the main stem, she can flourish as she supposed to by nature. Thats about it, for this week. Hey Guys, so I have ran into some difficulties regarding our power supplier. Due to the current situation we are facing in South Africa the power company "Eskom" does not have ample supply to provide constant electricity to our country anymore. This is very sad. So they implement a system called "loadshedding" where the cut off power supply in certain suburbs at certain times. This has got me in a complete and utter flat spin as I'm not always at home when this happens. The past 2 weeks have been immensely rough as we we're scheduled for outages 3 times a day for 2,5 hour intervals. Between 02:00AM - 06:30 my tent's power went off (depending on scheduled time). This has in fact caused some VPD problems ( I tried getting up every night, but I still have to get enough sleep for work ). As you can imagine, it sucks BIG TIME. I've done my best to keep at par & doctored where I could. *Decreased Light Intensity (600W) *Decreased Wind Velocity on canopy Almost approaching the start of week 3. Feeding schedule from 3 day interval - 2 day interval ( 2L per feed ) Selective defoliation to get light on lower tops. Used some garden wire to support 2 main colas which we're too high. Note: Pest/Mould check done. Foliar sprayed with H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide) @ coolest part of day - Next day applied high alkalinity ph'd water to kill mildew spores - Fan heater running from 03:30AM - 06:00AM, pulsing/regulating temp at 19-21°C [ until light comes on ] Grow Logging Light Distance From Canopy = 65cm Substrate Temp = 16 C Substrate PH = 6.0 Normal - Moist Level 79cm = Scrog Net Height 95cm = Tree Height PPFD = 20.1 C = Tent 45% RH

"Chugging" along this week. Weather is hot, girls are loving the all time drip system. Forgot that my nutes and hot sun dont mix well and created a bad case of algae. Will monitor more often and maybe increase the drip flow

11/22/2018 Just coming off a week long flush plain water only,the leaves are showing signs that they are using stored nutes today drained and filled up at 1/2 strength. Week 9, 1/4 strength, and week 10 distilled water, drains and refreshed every 24hours till done. Leaves faded away and trichomes ripe to my liking.😁

The harvest of the first medusa F1 hybrid at day 93 after germination. The trichomes were starting to turn amber. I probably could have let her ripen for a bit longer. I am amazed how fat she has gotten, the weight of the flower is too heavy for the branches. Way to go RQS for breeding such a fast growing autoflower. She is already in the drying tent for 5 days now at a temperature of 19 °C with a humidity of around 55-60%. I want a nice and slow drying process to preserve the terpenes and cannabinoïds. This will take about 2 weeks in my opinion, when the branches start to give a clean snapping sound when bending. I will make a harvest blog once the flowers are dried and I have weighed the buds for the yield. This lady only received some LST and a little defoliation throughout the entire grow. I also dont flush the plant at the end since this myth was debunked by a scientific article. A flush is only needed if you overfed the plant. Dr bruce bugbee also confirmed this. The dry tent smells of hay/grass, which is logical because the plant still has a lot of chlorophyll inside. Untill the harvest blog! Check my other Medusa F1's for the progress of the experiment. I hope to give other people advice in growing these F1 hybrids.

Die Umwelt Bedingungen sind genau wie in der Woche 1... Temperatur min max = 21 grad in der Nacht, 26 am Tag. Luftfeuchtigkeit min max-= 58-66 %. Jeden 2 Tag die Pflanzen gegossen mit PH 5,9. Insgesamt bin ich mit der Entwicklung zufrieden, da es keine Probleme gab.

Decided to Veg for one more week!! I am watering the Mimosa and Jaeger with the Humboldt Secrets A+B 9ml each and Golden Tree with 2ml. I also added CalMag 1/2 tsp. I also put Great White Mico in the pp mixture and Big Foot in the mixture for MM and Jae. I used only Raw Grow about 2 tsp with a 1/4 tsp of cal mag in the instructions let's see how it goes. Dec 30. The plants needed defoliating pp the most I stretched the tops down a little further and trimmed mimosa a bit as well. Got the outer growth to the pot edges to encourage proper light penetration. I can tell I am going to have tons of bud sites!!

I'm loving red poison, not only does it look great my god am I high. also on the upside it helped me with my pain enough for me to get more than 3-4 hrs of sleep in 3 months 😭

This was my second grow ever. I started with a blueberry headband seed from a bud I got from the dispensary. This strain was very easy to grow and very forgiving. Final product had some seeds but wasn’t too bad.

Still hadn't really figured it out this week... I was making a lot of mistakes, but the deficiencies weren't showing yet so I had no idea.

So I am entering week 2 of the 12/12 flip, the ladys are showing sex so hopefully later in the week I will get actual pistils so I can start counting down flower days. Day 9 seen pistils but I had to perform a major defoliation as under the canopy was bad and I didnt want powdery mildew due to leafs sweating ect. Day 10 24 hours after defoliation, you could not tell I done a thing to them, im hoping its just a odd leaf now and then thru the rest of the flowering period. Any advice is welcome guys 🙏 I will be adding more fans for airflow. Day 12 of the flip and the girls are on there way to becoming ladys lol I think there's going to be a few nice kolas in there when done, ordered the new box fan for the floor to create more airflow to reduce the risk of pm and mold. I need to top up soil as roots are showing so under the net I go again. Wish me luck.

Did a big defolation on day 21. The plants stretched a lot, two pheno’s more than the others. One pheno was already behind a lot on developing flowers, and is not looking too happy. One other pheno stretched a lot but it looking okay, the other two are looking incredibly well! Excited to see these buds well after the big defoliation.
