Well I'm not really sure where to start......Got a lot of work done around the garden this week. Got the first load of boards up on the fence and I've been bracing as I go. Grass all trimmed down and some of the inside of the plants, it was a mosquito magnet in there, wasn't fit to be in, it has gotten better. I gave them what I had left of Gaia Green 4-4-4, which was 3 cups each a little shy of what I wanted to put in so I have another bag coming here very shortly and we will top it up then.So far between everything in the garden right now we have went thru 20kg of 4-4-4, minus 6 cups for the indoor peyote super soil. Also getting some trellis as I thought I had enough from last year but cant seem to find it anywhere. They're getting pretty big now kinda makes me worry a bit, never thought they would be this big..... Purple Punch, #1: 73 inches, #2: 76 inches, #3: 78 inches Orange Sherbert, #1: 76 inches, #2: 72 inches, #3: 69 inches I got some lady bugs today and have released them. I'm hoping to be able to pick up enough boards next time I come home that I can finish closing it in. I won't be closing in the south side, I'm just going to be using the cage, please don't make me regret this...... I would really like to see the stretch set in like NOW but thats not going to happen, maybe next time I'm home we'll start to see flowers, if they don't get wrecked in the mean time, gotta get my wall up!!!!! I'm also going to be setting up an automated curing system this week, I'll have pictures up next week.

I think it was good that the original setup didn't work because it made me upgrade the set up. End of Week 9

As week 5 came to a close and we move into week 6 of flowering, I am having really high hopes for the end result. The buds started to get some light orange hairs which is really nice and they are really starting to thicken up! Towards the end of week 5 the plants started to show early signs of burn on their leaf tips, so I started the week 6 feeding a little early. In week 6 we bring the EC down quite a bit as we get into the late stages of flower. I also recently switch to measuring with EC vs PPM for ease and accuracy. Also at the end of week 5 I did a calibration on my coco for each plant as week 6 nutrients are much lighter. Coco Calibration Method 1. Mix up nutrients. 2. Water plants as normal and measure runoff. 3. If runoff EC is not at or close to the inflow EC a. Water more and keep measuring runoff until the runoff is at or close to the inflow EC 4. Do steps 1-3 for all plants (One at a time) Tips: - I use a shop vacuum that I stick the end in the bottom of the pot saucers and leave it on while I water so it sucks the runoff as soon as it drains out the pots. Then I measure, empty and water again until I hit my targets) For this calibration, I ended up using around 6 gallons of nutrient solution. Watering technique used is to measure runoff at every watering and make sure we are staying as close as possible to the inflow EC. It does not matter how much water you need to put through the pots to get to the desired EC on runoff as that is a benefit of Coco. My main goal is to keep my runoff in check and the plants seem to do better than I have ever grown before! The smell off these ladies are amazing and strong. I don't have a carbon filter and enjoy her smells and aromas all day long as my desk is right next to my tent. There were no issues in Week 5. Plants continue to look amazing and the buds are continuing to bud up and structure very nice! I'm excited to see the end result after the ripening and flush stages. Also the colors that are soon to come! Stay tuned! ______________ We are 5 days into week 6 and the buds continue to grow fatter and fatter on a daily basis. I'm really dialing in my EC and making sure to mix it at 1.1 EC and making sure my runoff is from 1.1-1.4. I started playing with the mix as I am getting used to the grow schedule and how the base nutrients effect the EC. I have found that doing 50% of the low strength calendar hits me right at my target EC and I don't have to dilute my mixture after. The smells continue to be strong and fill my house up. The weight is starting to make the colas lean over which is nice because it's opening up the canopy to get more light in. I'm very excited to see what the buds look like in week 7 and then we are on to ripening stage, flush, and then finally harvest!!

Divine indica is growing really well. She should be ready for her first training very soon. She is very crowded in the grow room. She will be going to a tent in about a weeks time to have more space, and finish out her grow. Everything is looking really good for her at the moment. Hello fellow growers, Another week went by, and looking for the trichomes development every other day, I've noticed that the plants still have some bulking and maturing to do, so I gave another week of light feeding to them. The buds are looking really dense and the smell is delicious 😋 The phenotype #2 untill now had only leaves with the purple color but not that the buds are becoming mature, the calyxes are also turning in purple 💜 The #1 that I've harvested is now dry, trimmed and curing in mason jars :) I'll input the data with the others later. Day 29 Flower (Day 71) Woohoo! First day of week five of flower and an easy day at that. I just gave the right girl 3 liters of pH 6.2 water and took some pics. I'm still experimenting with bud photography. This time with a tripod but still no additional lights. I also need to take the pics when the lights are off as the flowers look funky under the LEDs. The right girl is slowly starting to bulk up, but the left girl is lagging. That is no wonder, though, considering that she has had much less light due to those space issues. Also, there's a huge quality difference between the lights in each tent. So I'm looking forward to comparing the bud quality that each tent will generate. Day 30 Flower (Day 72) It slipped my mind, but it's been over two weeks since I gave the girls nematodes to get rid of the gnats. As always, the nemos did their job quickly and effectively, and I haven't seen any gnats since. However, to ensure that they stayed gone, I did a second treatment today, mixed up 10 million nemos into 6 liters of water, and gave each girl half at pH 6.6. Day 31 Flower (Day 73) Chill day. I just gave the right girl 3 liters of pH 6.5 water and cut some clones from her. She is deep in flower so I'll try to monster-crop her. Never tried that before but have heard that it creates some really bushy plants. As she already is bushy I'm curious to see how bushy a monster-cropped clone of her will be. She had a few low branches that I left during lollipopping for this reason and I cut four of them with a sterile razor blade, then scraped the lower part of the stem and dipped them in Clonex. They're now sitting in the window with a small LED spot to make sure that they have enough light to re-veg. Day 32 Flower (Day 74) I know that I got a new tent for my left girl only a few days ago, but I decided to upgrade to give her a bit more space. I went to my local grow store today and picked up a tent made by the same company as my main tent (UndrCovrLab). This new tent is also made specifically for my wardrobe, maximizing the available space. I went from a tiny 40x40 cm tent to a "massive" 75x45 cm tent. Still very small but almost 2x bigger. Woohoo! The left girl was squeezed into the 40x40 tent for so long that I had to use some LST to spread her out and increase light penetration now when she has some more breathing room. Speaking of lights, my small ViparSpectra is a bit underpowered now in this larger space, so now I have to consider upgrading that as well. The simplest solution would be to get another ViparSpectra, and while this little light has been performing well, it lacks UV diodes. I'll look around for options. We have gotten hit by a heatwave here, so now my tents are sweltering. The main tent reached 36 degrees C today at one point :/ Oh well, I cannot do much about it except hope that the heat doesn't stress out the girls too severely. The girls are very thirsty in this heat though, and I gave each 4.5 liters of pH 6.5 water. Day 33 Flower (Day 75) All I did today was to give the right girl 3 liters of pH 5.9 water. A bit low as I used too much pH down and then was too lazy to fix it. Day 34 Flower (Day 76) No idea what happened, but an army of fungus gnats invaded my right girl. It's only four days ago since I watered her with Nematodes against gnats, and there were no gnats at all then. A few days later, it is gnat central in my main tent (the left girl in the other tent has no gnats). It's almost like I didn't give nemos to the plant but instead gave her gnats. Weird as the nemos have always worked great in the past. Now I need to start fighting these annoying little shits. Sigh. I'll give nemos another go, and if they don't work, then I'll use some sand. Worst case scenario, I'll use Neem oil, but I really don't want to go that far. I gave each girl 3 liters of pH 6.5 water, and that was it for today. Day 35 Flower (Day 77) The last day of the fifth week of flower and all is (pretty well) well in the tents. The left girl is 103 cm tall (6 cm increase in a week), and she is lagging quite a bit behind the right girl. She is healthy and quite sticky to the touch, but the flowers still have a lot of fattening up to do. I hope that will speed up now when she has a bit more room to spread out so the light can penetrate the canopy deeper. Getting a more powerful light would also help. When in doubt, add more photons! Someone who doesn't need more photons, though, is the right girl. The top bud has been burnt slightly, and there's light bleaching on a couple of colas as well as on a few fan leaves. I removed the driver from one of the lights and raised the light a bit higher. Every centimeter counts when you're running out of space! The right girl increased another 3 cm this week and is now 123 cm tall. I hope that is it as I'm now completely out of room. The gnat army in my main tent is still going strong. So strong that they have now sent out a small expeditionary force to my small tent and started to colonize the area. Sigh. I Will hit the girls in a day or two with nemos, but today I just put up some yellow sticky traps and gave the right girl 3 liters of pH 6.5 water.

Wednesday, January 27 Fed plants yesterday(26JAN) 3/4ga each plant. 2tsp/ga ratio of Bud Candy pH’d @6.3’s. Have a compost tea brewing that I will feed them tomorrow. Compost tea is comprised of 1 Cup of worm castings and a 1/4 Cup of bone meal powder. Bone meal powder is a great source of calcium and phosphorus to help in the flowering stage. I also added 1.5tsp of Great White Myco root powder to 3ga of compost tea. This morning I noticed little white hairs growing out of pistils all over the plants! Finally, signs of early flowering since switching to a 12/12 light schedule this past Saturday. Plants have shown a sizable amount of stretch in the past couple weeks so I’ve projected at about 6-8 weeks from now for a harvest? I’ll keep y’all posted on the days ahead and as always, stay safe and happy growing💚✌️🌱 Thursday January 28 Fed plants about 3/4 ga each of compost tea @6.3pH. This week, we feed mycorrhizal fungi to the plants and it gets the excellent results. The plants grow extraodinarily.
