What would be the better option, to raise my light further away, or adjusting the dimmer to less than 100%. Current light I’m using is a SF-1000. Thanks in advance.

Hi there Lysidious, so the good news is your light is not a problem. I see a basically healthy plant with short internodes , meaning the light is the right distance to prevent stretching. This is good. But you’re right to notice the slight discoloration on the newest growth and the burnt tips. These are actually two separate problems. Burnt tips are nutrient burn , probably from slightly too much N. Simply try to reduce your NPk or the kelp based additive which contains N. The discolored new leaves is a symptom of micronutrient deficiency , that’s because it’s an “immobile “ nutrient . Just add calmag and the problem will stop spreading immediately and the plant should recover quickly . Hope this helps ! 🚀

She is finally starting to catch herself back, and drink normal amounts of water. 2 more weeks and I think I’ll do the flip to outdoor where the light is close to 12/12

This week she has stopped visible growth so she is prob in or starting full flowering. Been giving compost tea, as well as the nutes that are noted above. (Please see previous week to see what I mean by compost, the last 2 pictures). I do this to add beneficial bacteria. Correct me if I’m wrong but, is Microbrew is basically the same as compost tea? I’m following a FF schedule at a reduced rate (only using 90% of what is advised and then dilute by 1/2) and I still notice it’s too much at certain times. Fox farm is a good product Iv enjoyed it, but Iv noticed that the plants prefer a more organic route - Living soil - Will be looking into that with the help of Mrs_Larimar, should check out the grow diary very helpful stuff.

WoW many crystals have formed overnight, almost as if she went out and partied hard and forgot to wipe her “nose” before she got back home... No complaints at all, just watering daily with pH 6.4 water and adding compost tea. Going to do a phosphorous boost on her this week since she is starting to pack on mass... Thanks for reading.

Last few weeks I have noticed spider mites trying to suck the justice from my darlings but, due to the Neem oil Iv “vaccinated” them with all throughout their veg-hood. I got concerned and was going to get some mitecide (if the white spots progressed) and they have been isolated to the lower fan leaves and they are not making much progress, she has 2 weeks to go (Ish) so didn’t want to introduce more more chemicals (be it organic or not). She is stinking up the place both inside and outside (the smell wafts in) and it’s heavenly a dank reek. Don’t see any seeds forming, feeling I pollenated too late.

So I live on a dirt road that has a lot of traffic. Never washed the buds before but I’ve been reading about people doing it and getting good results, but that was back in 2014 on forums, haven’t seen anything else. Has anyone tried it and what were your results. Thx for readin

I have it works great. Need 3 5 gallon buckets or larger. First bucket water with 1/2 cup of hydrogen peroxide3% 1/2 cup of baking soda and squeeze a lemon in it and mix well. The other 2 buckets just water. Wash buds gentle for 1-2 min then do a double rinse. Shake buds off and hang. Change the buckets as needed. This mix works great not just for a wash but powdery mildew.

Happy Harvest Day!

Smell never ceases to amaze me. I live next to a dirt track so a lot of dust, limestone dust as well as field dust. First time deciding to wash my buds before I put them up to dry. Did 3 buckets of water, 1 lime juice and baking soda, regular water and last one iced water. Put them in and gave them a gentle shake for 20 seconds roughly. I took the main fan leaves off but majority of leaves with some sugar on them i left them for the second trim. Will be doing grain alcohol (95.7%) extraction from the trim so I can get some wax for edibles ... To be continued...

Was bummed out plant got red mites at the end but that’s fine, it didn’t not impact the grow (or at least I didn’t notice.) Harvested at the end of the 6th week of flower. Trichomes had already started turning amber due to heat degradation (couch lock party) what trichomes that were not dust ridden or amber was milky so I’d say it’s ready. Choosing the best time to harvest is still puzzling for me due to the fact that this is my 4th time harvesting cannabis. Thanks for reading... more info to come ...TBC

@homerjgangiagangia, thank you, this plant is super touchy(light burn anything over 60% lights & it’s about 15-16” away from her so my solution is to continue to veg her inside for another 1-2 weeks and then toss her outside to start flowering.

Nice plant bro. 👊 Very nice veg........she's quite bushy so u may want to consider a slight defoliation to get even better yields before u flip her
Lysidious
Lysidiouscommented4 years ago
@Wadadli_Kush, Been watching that. Took one big leaf off today that was covering some smaller branches. I’m also taking out the secondary shoots from the branches to focus on vertical growth. Will take more leaves off after the 12/12 stretch, or that’s what I’m thinking...
