Looking for new pollen mother!!

My Runtz plant has some dark green leaves, and they're the most interesting of all the plants in the tent. They're really pointy and almost look like they have some old European genetics. It's been a challenging week with the constant rain and ridiculously high humidity. Keeping things dry indoors has been a real struggle. Despite the weather, I managed to flip all my feminized photoperiod plants to flower this week. I'm hoping the switch will go smoothly, but with this humidity, it's going to be tough.

This grow is going to be testing my coco based auto watering setup. The plants will eventually be going into 2.5 gallon airpots which I cut to be very tall and narrow which I hope will give great performance for this grow style. Nutrient solution will be pumped from a 5 gallon bucket to halo-style drip emitters 6 times a day for 5-10 second intervals. I am going to try to use inline flow control knobs to dial in the watering and allow for slight runoff every fertigation. For lighting I am using my HLG 100 watt lights, one per plant. I am a big fan of these quantum boards, they have given great performance in the past! Thanks for reading! 🌱👍 May 13 day 1: the Blackberry breached after germinating in a rapid rooter for 2 days. I am impressed with how quickly this seed popped! It had no issues with stuck seed casings, which I find is the main downside of germinating in rapid rooters. I am excited about this one! May 16 day 3: Auto watering drip emitters are set up, and I am testing them to dial in the amount of runoff it produces. I also planted the seedlings/rapid rooters into 1 litre grow bags and began feeding nutrients. They are still under the humidity dome for now for the time being and seem to be doing well. Day 4: seedlings doing well, they are staying under the dome untill they grow their next set of leaves, then I will take them out and run a humidifier.

So the final day has come. Day 115. Wow she took 4 months! I struggled a little bit with cutting her, I had to do it with a handsaw. She is a chunky girl! I partially trimmed the plant, mostly removing any fan leaf left and any big leaf without trichomes on them. I consider this more of a pre-cleaning and not a real trimming. That will be done after the plant has dried in about 2 weeks It was quite nice to document my grow. This was my 3rd one ever. I will continue with the grows and journaling because it really makes things sound clearer in my head.

Since last week she’s only grown a Mear half an inch and has slowed down considerably! Could of been the hydro/coco nutes or could just be one of them things that happen ya know as the rest are fine and growing at fast paces and all have been treated the same and fed the same etc! But yeah some plants react different to nutrients and yes wrong nute formulas can do this as I’m testing the theory on an auto I started outside that’s now inside on its own and it’s showing so many problems so I get to highly suggest no one makes the mistake of thinking it’s ok to use them! I only ended up using them due to being Mis sod over a counter and I expected without reading it to be what I’d asked for! But we’re here and lessons are learned! But she’s smelling so sweet and tasty already and well my purple couskush was a little slow then boomed and ended up being the biggest yielder so we’ll see! But either way I think I have another zammi in the mystery mix DOSIDOS it’s either that or purple punch! I’m just waiting to see! 😌

Today I shortened all four plants by fimming. Let's see what will become of them. Day 32: I think they took it well. The new shoots are growing. Day 33: Today I actually had to repot. The roots came out from the bottom of the pots. Plant three is struggling as you can see. I hope it comes through well. Day 35: I think the plagron light mix is too heavily fertilized. The plants give me the impression of being over-fertilized. The purple color of the stems is a hint. Then I will rinse them tomorrow.

420 Fastbuds FBT2304 Week 6 This week has been exciting for sure. Both have definitely transitioned into flower now, showing flower sites everywhere.Had some calmag issues but I think we got that under control by upping the feeding to 1tsp per gal. Over all I'd say Happy Growing.

10.8 - Hard to believe we are in week 7 of flowering!? We've come so far! And I have no clue how far we have to go. Just watching closely for the leaves to start yellowing and the trichomes to cloud up. 10.10 - Going through a heat wave, flower tent crept up over 32C during the past two days. Probably not an issue for this lady. Let me know how close you think I am to harvest! I still see new whites coming in every day and the buds are still visibly plumping.

Panted the seeds straight in their main pots and put a plastic bag over them to increase the humidity. Removed the plastic bags after the plants were 2 days out of the soil. Temp is around 20c and humidity around 50%. No added nutrients yet. Only using some ph minus to bring the pH levels down to arounbd 6,5. After each watering I am slowly increasing the light intensity. Started on 25% then to 50% of the capacity of the lamp. Noticed in the second week that I had set my timer wrong and the plants were on a 14-8 cycle instead of a intended 18-6.

Llevaba una semana con humedad muy alta y no hice nada al respecto. Acá donde cultivo es muy húmedo y cálido y siempre la Botrytis ha sido mi enemiga. Sin embargo esta vez fue mi culpa, pues sabía de la alta humedad y no hice nada. Importante mencionar que la Big Kush por su tamaño de flor (enorme) es más propensa a tener problemas con excesos de humedad. Esta cepa hace flores gigantes. Ya está resuelto y se bajó de 80% a 65% en promedio. Aumenté ventilación, extracción y coloqué un deshunidificador. * Haciendo cuentas de los días transcurridos, estoy una semana por delante y por lo tanto creo que empecé tarde con el Pk1314. De hecho era notable que las flores estaban muy desarrolladas cuando lo empecé a aplicar. Aún así el Pk ha hecho lo suyo y las plantas han engordado, quizá no lo que esperaba. Algunas hojas con tonalidades amarillas, algunas propias del consumo de la planta y otras observándola día a día para detectar algún exceso. Las platas siguen consumiendo en promedio 2 litros de líquido al día, por lo que espero hacer un buen lavado de raíz en una semana aproximadamente. Buenos humos 🌊🤙

Evening, Cannafam and Happy Easter to those of you that celebrate it 🐇 This has been yet another great week with my 3 Green Crack girls. I can't remember if I mentioned it in my last update but I switched out my 300 watt Viperspectra LED for my 600 watt Mars Hydro, also lollipopped the 3 of them and whenever I see a leaf that I didn't notice in my initial defoliation that is obstructing light to bud sites I pop it off but never more than a few leaves at a time. The plants are pretty much in auto pilot right now just cruising. There's no more maintenance left to do on them and aside from feeding them I don't really have to do much except setback and wait on my weed lol

Day 9 and she looks as you guys can see lol i mean to my eyes she just looks amazing, she is fully recovered and full on going like there is no tomorrow , she is praying for 11h strait non stop and i could not be more happy with the way things are running. For this week i will keep the same food regime as last week, man i love how my girls love Aptus Holland and how well they respond to it all 💚💚💚🙏🙏🙏✊✊✊ I know she has a lot of leafs , but its only that hehehe since i clean the branches all up to the top before flipping her to flower leaving just the leafs to help them get more energy for this first 2 weeks of the flowering stage, after it i will defoliate the hell out of this lady best and let her focus her energies on but production, but for now i want her to stretch the most she can since she is not phenotype that stretches a lot 😅 non or lees she is an amazing bud machine i believe she will do it once again hehehe As for the Light intensity i took 12 readings over my canopy to find out my PAR and the average PPFD is 1013 Umol/m2/s, for those of you that do not know the meaning of this, it means photosynthetic photon flux density , this basically the number of photons going arround for plants to absorve in a determinate area, in this case my 3x3 room Day 11 and there were toooo many leafs for what my eyes are use too so i decided to defoliate her, this will also help stopping the stretch since she is doing it more than her mother did and space is not something i have in this 3x3 area lol she is drinking like crazy, 5,5 liters day and increasing, curious to see how much will she be drinking wen in full flower. Our Black Runtz by Zamnesia has reached 16 buds. I'm growing them a little more to make sure they don't go into flowering with small brunches but we're almost there, a few days and they'll go into flowering. She's a plant with a low internodal distance, they're not the most suitable for topping due to the slow response of the mini brunches but you just need to let them grow a little and not go into flowering straight away to get an excellent result anyway. As a general rule but very general plants with a low internodal distance are less suitable for the application of the techniques unlike plants with a wide internodal distance which are very easy to handle, they grow more slowly and can reach excellent dimensions even if worked with techniques that keep them low. The Topping worked very very well the plant at the moment of topping went slightly into overfertilization due to the evident slowdown in growth, so I slowed down the fertilizer for growth but without making her go into crisis we are starting to give fertilizer again. When topping is a delicate moment it is probably better to do what I explain below with this plant I managed to keep myself more balanced the others for a week were in quite evident over. The ideal when topping repeatedly is probably to start with a soil fertilized with gradual release or in fact start preparing the soil for a period that is at least enough for the vegetative phase at most by adding a bit of alga grow which alone I must admit gives me some problems at least in this case if the plant grows straight much less indeed nothing.
