Well, after majorly fucking up the princesses (but hoping one still survived) next in line are 2 North Thunderfuck. I named them Ei and Makoto (iykyk ^^) D1: this time we go the direct-to-pot route. Fuck plugs, fuck everything, we are raising two little fuckers! Hopefully with a better start this time... I swear Ill be patient.... I swear XD Like planned they will spend some time in the kiddie tent with their new light, and then take it over to the grown up tent once there is room over there. Lets go! We have unfortunately lost the Black Opium in this line up but the other three are doing well. We have some albinism throughout the White Widow and she looks lovely to say the least, Kabul is well on her way and doing great along with the Purple Opium. Hopefully we have a great week and these girls keep in their groove!

Defoliation again, as you will see, gave the girls plenty of room for air to circulate.

420FASTBUDS ORT2109 WEEK 7 The pair of these beautiful girls continue to surprise me every week. I give them a once over and look and the leafs for a weekly inspection to make sure all's well. The both have many flower sites showing up and I decided to do a mild defoliation to allow the plants energy to be focused on the upper sites. Over all I'll continue feeding them they way I have been with 2liters of water/nutes every 2-3days. Happy Growing

Getting closer! Weather here is finally starting to turn warm including and after this weekend. That means I’ll be taking Cream Caramel, Bubba’s Gift #1 & #2 and Black D.O.G. outside to be transplanted in 45 gallon pots. Bit of a crazy week after taking my loupe to my soil and spotting a LOT of bulb mites in my soil. Nematodes surprised me with their presence too. Explains the issues I have been having with Jack Herer in my other tent. Thankfully despite them both existing in this tent the plants are doing quite well. Just a little LST and defoliation this week. They’re doing well and I just want to leave them be until they’re outside or remain in the tent with more space. I can’t wait to tie down Bubba’s Gift #3, Chemdawg’91, The New and Black D.OG. Plan is to give them about a week more and then flip them to 12hrs. Still just watering with dechlorinated water. Top dressed with 4-4-4, worm castings and insect Frass. Before that a Soil Drench one day with Neem oil and Dr. Bronner’s Castile soap mixed into Mosquito Dunk water for pest control. My mycorrhizae shipment won’t be arriving until May 20th so even if the plants go up this weekend I will leave them in their existing pots until I return next weekend.

12/8 - Here we are at the beginning of week 10. Her buds are starting to frost up and she is definitely bulking up more than her sister, but her sister has a longer projected flowering time-frame (Heavy Sativa vs Indica). Anyways, did some minor pruning for airflow optimization and to remove some unhappy leaves from her undergrowth. They weren't yellow, but they weren't getting enough light and it was showing. Haven't done much to her this week other than top her off with Tap every other day. Seems like her feed from last week was on point as her pH and EC were solid as the water level lowered. After her first top-off, her EC started to fall as she ate more (reflected in the lower ec in the res after topping off with tap). Tapered her down to 80% strength as she is moving further along in flower and should hopefully finish sooner than her sister. If she needs a bump in her EC, I may top off with full strength nutes, but I'm going to just wait and see how she responds. Breeder's timeline reflects a ~65 day seed-to-harvest, but I can assure anyone out there growing this strain in DWC that she will not be ready in that time-frame. Currently she is sitting on day 67 and still looks like she has another 2 weeks or more. I grew her in soil before and she was ready pretty darn close to her expected time-frame (~70 days), but this strain responds to DWC differently. She didn't have slow growth or anything; just seems like she will veg longer in hydro than in soil. Not sure why. Thanks for stopping by the garden, and, as always, Happy Growing!

Welcome to week 8 🌱✨ The Girl Scout Cookies ladies are doing good so far. I did some more defoliation and lollipopping. I guess the stretch will be done soon. Unfortunately Salem and Morgana are still standing tall in the back. I still have no idea how to get those main stems out of the hotspot. Edit: I installed an automatic watering system today. Individual treatment for every lady. Let’s see how they’ll like it. 🧙‍♂️

The substrate maybe got a little hot after the last top feed so won't be adding any more probably this grow! That's my best guess for the mottling on the leaves and crispy ends - as the ends are curling up rather than straight. That's my tip for telling whether it's over- or under-fed or another issue. I'm pH testing every drop she gets (and giving between 6-6.5), so I don't believe it's lockout from a pH issue. She's getting a proper wet-dry cycle. Must be too many nutes. I flushed her yesterday and will continue with straight up water. Hasn't affected overall growth though- the buds are starting to bulk up, trichs continue to show themselves, and the smell 👌👌 it's like honey and citrus. Veeeery excited for this one ;)

Beginning of the 8th week, Not pretty to see but it holds up. Reminder :week 7 it seems that the drainage was not optimal on this session resulting in accumulation of salts, several necrosis appeared over the days on 4 plants. Only 1 remains in full health and swells visibly.

The plant was looking a bit sad after transplant and the defoliation and training I've been doing. The shape is looking quite good now so I'll leave it alone to do its thing for a couple of weeks before flipping to flower.

Started with some bent which really made side branching take off. I'm just doing leaf tucking, all branches get plenty of light, so no need for bending IMO. One is quite a bit bigger than the other, if this is a fenotype thing or something I did we will never know since the sample is too small to make conclusions... So its the one in the slightly smaller pot that is bigger. Also, I switched positions between both to see if this makes difference... but I never noticed hotspots or such in my earlier grows.... One of my annoyances of small-scale operations is that there is never enough data to be able to make conclusions based in facts. It could always be nature or nurture, because I lack control groups. Maybe my government will someday finally see the backwater retardedness of our way of dealing with cannabis. For now no other option than staying within the law. I like weed and growing but I like my freedom more. The XL Runtz are remarkably resistant and vigorous, with extreme growth in just under three weeks after germination. Beautiful plants and they handle a high light / high organic nute situation from very early on. Coming week I'll just be leaf tucking, no further LST since they are already going into flower. Ill be adding BAC Organic Flower coming days along with my solution of wood ash and perma tea. Also Ill be starting the three 56 ltr growbags to start the three regulars that will run in the same 18 hr lightschedule. And that light, trusty SP-3000, what a machine, what results so far and how reliable so far. She doesn't get too warm at all, just contributes to a nice greenhouse atmosphere without any climate management other than me checking temps and RH. Usually, I need no adjusting, no ventilation, no heating or airco, my system is pretty self-containing and autonomous in the stabile attack where it is. And lets be real, I get results as in grams per watt and per plant that only the 600 watt / Hydroponic guys get. With organic growing, in such small scale with 300 watt. 09/06 - DAY 43 - Slight yellowing and spotting on a few of Mo’s older fan leaves, thinking Mag deficiency. Everyday more and more trichomes coming in. - Forcing Jane to open up by pulling her out. 09/08 - DAY 45 - Top dressed Mo w/ Worm Castings & Kashi Blend. Can see feeder roots everywhere under the cover, worms are active, and she’s sucking dry her reservoir every 1.5 days. - Lowered light to 500-560PPFD at canopy. Humidity ~58%. - Jane is starting to share her strawberry aromas. Mo smells like a sweet sugary treat 09/11 - DAY 48 - Switched over to only blooming/fruiting inoculants & top watered w/ compost tea. Hopefully get ahead of any deficiencies. - Mo is starting to drink 2 Gal in less than a day, along with the weekly top waterings. Thirsty girl 😃

Steady progress from last weeks update. Although I may have mixed two of the plants up and the one I think is red dragon could actually be Zombie Kush, but I’m sure that’ll show in the next couple of weeks, there are actually 2 Zombie Kush in there, the mix around came at the time of repotting, if a mix around there was, ah the mystery of it all😜 smelling great in there. The purple strawberry really does have an amazing aroma, and the blue fire og has a super stench, I thought it might be a bit more fruity but I’m not complaining. The gorilla Zkittles is just pouring oil, the leaves and buds are covered, it’s been sticky for a while now the smell not so intense. The Zombie Kush are looking great (1 especially but this as aforementioned may be red dragon🙃) The red Dragon is also looking really good and filling up space along the stems with bud, not so much of a show of trichomes as far as this one goes but theyre there🤤 the critical orange punch is also doing well but isn’t that great to look at, I’m hoping as the buds fatten they’ll tighten up a bit. The smell from this one is gorgeous though and no doubt it will make great smoke. April is looking like a good month for flavours🤤🤤🤤🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
