Today is day 71 for these ladies and they are doing just amazing! Stacking up densely with a Very sweet smell , I still get hints of vanilla ! Not to much longer to go these girls few more weeks an they should be done! Stay tuned for next week ! ✌️

Week 14 for White Widow by greenhouseseedco Really didn't plan on defoliating again but she was getting a little top heavy + light just wasn't being able to penetrate very well. Might flip to flower earlier than I planned as I don want her getting much taller. 3 of her outer branches are also struggling to keep up withy the rest and are slowly falling behind the rest, will try to fix that.

I'm going to give her the chop sometime this week. Giving her one final watering today, then I'm going to let her dry out til harvest. She smells fucking awesome, super aromatic. It's quite obnoxious not being able to find anything on this strain. But I'll try and describe what she's like. For one, I'd say that once you've got an established plant, it's very painless to grow. I didn't measure waterings or nute feedings. Treated her like a tomato plant basically. The smell is incredible, super fruity with just a hint of skunk... and given the character this strain is named after(💩), let's just say that's a very pleasant surprise 😮 We're in the final stretch of her growth here. I'm not expecting too much yield wise by this point. I want an OZ, so I'm hoping this extra week will get her to chunk up just a bit more. Cheers fellow growers, I would recommend other Ethos strains before this one. But if you're accustomed to their Genetics, this is definitely worth copping for the experience. Really excited to see how she smokes! 🤑😎 Update 10/28/21: Something made me decide to give her a flush and maybe a week or two of extra time. I think she'll start doing the purple fade thingy, as I see purple on some of the tips of calyxes and sugar leaves. I hope for one crop like this every year.. Flushed her yesterday and took the updated pictures(the ones in the dark) today. Looks like she REALLY put on some weight between yesterday and today. I mean I had to stake her up, that's how chunky she's getting. The stems and branches look like they're on the brink of snapping 😳 Looking back, I don't think I've had a plant get this chunky by this point in flower. Makes me super excited I have more beans of this stuff. I may end up leaving a lower branch to chuck her into the veg tent post-harvest, I'm seriously that in love with this strain.

Cruising right along into week 5 of flower nothing to crAzy to report but stretch has finally stopped and focus is into bud development. Smell is getting stronger as the days go along. Week 9 mix pack… a bit late but because I was away so I did a video on Monday 30 (first one) before going and a video this Friday 3 (second one) after coming back. On Monday I also harvested the Guava RF3 because she looked ripe and was forward looking most of the time compared to the others. I’m gonna harvest the to Apple strudel RF3 next (beginning of week 10 probably) and last the Banana purple punch RF3 (end of week 10 probably. Papaya cookies week 8 really stepped up in this day’s with bigger and denser buds.

I would give this strain an average rating. Nothing great nor bad. I have had both better and worse strains.

Northern Lights is very close to being finished. I had phosphorus excess in this grow before, and I think that's what's happened again. I think the excess of phosphorus has prevented the plant from being able to uptake Calcium, Magnesium and others. 8.5.25: The plant was watered with 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.2. I added per litre; ♡ 1/2 TSP Mega Crop Part A ♡ 1/4 TSP Sea K(elp) PPM: 890 PH: 6.2 I decided to feed each plant separately and mix it up in the 2l jug. I gave an additional 2l of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4 with the following nutrients; ♡ 4ml Ecothrive Trace ♡ 1/4 TSP Ecothrive Biosys PPM: 636 PH: 6.4. ☆ Xpert Nutrients PH down, up to 1ml. ☆ Ecothrive Neutralise 1 drop per litre from the 1ml pipette, which is attached. This is my dechlorinator. She will be taken down once I'm satisfied with the ratio of trichomes. I'm leaving this one a bit longer than I usually would, just to see the difference in effects of a later harvest. I do need the space in the tent, so I'm hoping it won't take too much longer. This week kicks off 6w of flower for unknown and she’s going!!! Super excited to see the trichomes increase because I’ve had two days where, it was very unexpectedly hot and could do little to nothing about it even with fans. So she definitely suffered from heat stress but, the super low temperatures (constantly 😍) after that has made up for it. I believe the best is yet to come with this lady but, I’ll continue to play it cool and safe with her! She’s also very resistant to low temps compared to wwa. This week also kicks off w11 for wwa and she’s also living up to her name (so I’ve read 😏) with, the increase of trichomes over the last week! She also suffered from heat stress but, has bounced back amazingly and is fattening up. Harvest day 49 and 53, happy with the result

Day 100 The plant has reached day 100 and is deep into the flowering stage. Buds are developing beautifully - dense, frosty, and covered in trichomes. The canopy is even and well-shaped, allowing good light penetration. The leaves are dark green and healthy, with just a slight downward curl that could indicate a bit of nutrient strength or light intensity, but nothing concerning.

* ********* Week 8 - May 30 to June 5, 2020 - Day 50 to 56 ********** * Getting caught up on pictures......... Bud sites finally set in this week and the girls are in full flower now. They have been switched back to 18/6 light cycle as well........they spent 4 nights at 12/12 so I didn’t want to push it further and risk low productivity in 12/12 or her being overly stressed coming back to 18/6 after too long so it was time to switch back. GSC is staying in her own tent now.....she is too big to go back in with the other girls. I have to order a couple of things to make it work but feel that is the best answer. GSC2 went back into the flower tent with the others and just put her on several risers to bring canopy up. The girls need some leaves removed here and there but there are actually very few leaves in the big picture so I am very reluctant to remove too many. The girls seemed to grow smaller leaves and bud sites are smaller right now. Lots of branch on GSC but I am not looking to grow branches😃Branches stiffened up more this week and have been working a little more silica into her feed. Strong stock = big yield👍 GSC has been feeding hard this week. She is having no issues going through 3L a day of feed. GSC2 is being fed the same right now and she is also stiffening up and looking more “perky” all the time......forming into a cannabis plant more now🤞GSC2 has done so well with her bad transplant and growing out of the pot almost sideways......she is a fighter!!! Stay the course for now and get the second environment dialled in for the big girl!!! Little more detail........ May 30/20 - Day 50 - Dry out day for the girls - GSC still not set bud sites.....three days at 12/12 now?? - GSC2 is looking taller and side branches are reaching up more. May 31/20 - Day 51 - 8L water mixed with Dual Fuel @ 2ml, Piranha, Voodoo, Sensyzime, Rezin, Liquid Wt, CalMag @ 1ml = 1300ppm and 5.9pH - GSC took 5L - runoff 900ppm and 5.7pH - GSC2 took 3L - runoff 1300ppm and 5.9pH - Leaf strip harder on both girls today - GSC is 21” tall and slowly forming bud sites. - GSC still on 12/12 light cycle June 1/20 - Day 52 - dry out day - GSC has a number of hairs coming out today......buds slowly forming, Leaves are smaller. - moved light cycle back to 15/9 today.......slowly working GSC back to 18/6. June 2/20 - Day 53 - 7L water with Vitathrive @ 2ml, Rhinoskin, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml = 950ppm and 5.9pH - GSC took roughly 4L and GSC2 took 3L.........no runoff from either girl - GSC has more hairs popping and she is progressing. - GSC tent back to 18/6 today. - GSC2 is showing some spotting on her leaves. June 3/20 - Day 54 - dry out day - GSC stem is stiffening and hairs are looking good. - GSC2 is in full flower now as well and looking good....not tall though. June 4/20 - Day 55 - big water day - GSC given 6L with Massive @ 3ml, Sensyzime, Rezin, Liquid Wt @ 1.5ml, Dual Fuel @ 1ml = 1025ppm and 6.1pH - she was super dry and took all 6L no problem, - GSC2 given 4L with Massive @ 3ml, VeloKelp, Sensyzime, Rezin, Liquid Wt, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml = 1275ppm and 6.1pH - GSC2 given some kelp and increased based nutes a bit. - GSC in veg tent by herself......she is just to big to go back in the other tent!!!!😀 - GSC2 is getting squished a bit in the other tent as well as they are all doing well and filling in the tent. - GSC2 is put on milk crate to raise her up a bit and some more light on her. June 5/20 - Day 56 - dry out day - GSC didn’t look as happy today as I would have thought? - GSC2 on the other hand is firming up and looking a lot more like a plant in flower now👍

All 3 plants cut and just Ozz remaining to dry and trim. Terrible outcome for #4 as I had to throw more than half of the plant away due to bud rots. I’m still really confused about what happened: the day before harvest I noticed and removed 3 bud rots from the plant - so far so good. All remaining buds were fine, but when trimming I realised every single top was maroon-ish at the base and I could clearly see a start of mold when opening some of them. Although I could clearly confirm what it was with a 30x lens, the white spots were extremely scarce and small (less than 1x1mm each time). It doesn’t seem really coherent with how it should have spread. Nonetheless, I didn’t take risk and threw away any bud where I could identify white mold with the lens, and put aside the ones where I had a doubt in pop corns (the “7g maybe”, cf below) to track the evolution. A quick summary of the harvest so far, will edit when I have some time: - Dorel: 250g wet, 37g dry / 17g trim (54g total) - #4: 450g wet, 33g dry / 7g maybe / 29g trim (62-69g total) + a lot thrown away due to bud rots - Ozz: only weighted the two bigger canopie I cut, 162g+142g≈300g wet. It represents around half of the whole plant (probably less, but stem included), so around 5-600g wet total.
