I am incredibly lazy so I dropped the seed directly into a soaked rapid rooter and then into its final home (5 gal fabric pot)
Added a little makeshift dome to try to help keep humidity up and voila here we are!
This seedling is a lot taller than the Bloody Skunk Auto I last ran. The auto was definitely meant to be short and bushy and this one is a photo sativa so I’m super excited to see and experience growing different strains and just how different each one really is.
It’s been a crazy week at work so I haven’t been taking as much pictures as I usually would. On day 7 I got new trays to put my plant pots on (instead of the big ass Tupperware bin I had them in) and while I was transferring them my dog stuck her nose into this Double Chocolate girl! The leaf was torn and she was falling over! But she’s making a great recovery 😬
She got reeeeal droopy and looked pretty sad. I couldn’t tell if she was underwatered, overwatered or what. I ended up just increasing humidity in the tent and she perked right back up!
First attempt at mainlining and I am definitely way over my head! I’ve just been trying to decide what method to go with and I am pretty sure I’ve decided on the nugbuckets method.
I did the first topping last week and the 2nd topping just yesterday on day 41 of VEG. I’ll wait a little while and do a 3rd topping for 8 colas and I think that’s where I’ll stop!
I am so happy with how healthy this girl is! Didn’t really do much this week other than just let those 4 mains grow out a little. I want to do a 3rd topping but not sure exactly when I should? The 4 mains currently have 3 nodes each.
I really feel like I’ve stunted her growth and messed up on my main lining attempt. At least she’s not dead I guess?! Next week I’ll just be LSTing before she’s ready to flip
This plant is actually the stronger and healthier one out of the 2 different strains I have in the tent! I did snap a few branches on the other but I definitely thought that one was gonna be the thriver since it was so thick and chunky!
I’m actually so proud of this one! For a sativa I expected it to be super tall and lanky but she’s doing a great job staying pretty short and bushy.
I may flip into flower tonight OR wait another week to let them grow out just a bit more. Still haven’t decided!
Not really much to update here..just defoliated a lot and letting her grow out for a week or two before flipping. Struggling w some issues I have yet to figure out how to resolve!
Update is a little late! She’s looking better now than she does here
Fed only water for this week and I think I figured out what the problem is. Started having issues when the new light was put in and didn’t bother to turn it down. Lights are now at 60% and she’s looking way better. Will show update later this week
i know they still look a little sad but HALLELUJAH they are recovering and perking right back up! I want to wait til they’re fully fully healthier again to flip but they’re getting taller and taller I’m gonna run out of height space. So I’m flipping tomorrow and hoping for the best. Turned lights down to 75% and flushed thanks to so many ppl on here and they are looking a million times happier ☺️
Wanted to wait til they were healthier to flip but ended up just flipping anyway since I was running out of height space. Will probably defoliate more up until week 5 and then just let her do her thing after that!
Looking healthier than last week and seems to be happy! Having trouble deciding how and when to defoliate. I’m thinking after week 3 or 5 I’ll be able to really tell what’s blocking what and which buds will only turn into little popcorn buds.
