They are slowly entering the veggie phase 😍 So far only tap water with root juice. Since today we are in the vegi phase and the fertilization will start next week. Today I would like to tell you something about my new “toy” (Ecowitt GW1200 +WH51). I read something in the forum about a soil moisture sensor that is IoT capable. I was curious and of course had to buy it... 😄 Works really surprisingly well, I tested it beforehand with a small test setup. Up to 8 sensors can be connected to the gateway and theoretically home automation would also be possible. What I particularly like: Battery status display History with graph Freely adjustable alarms Access via internet and browser and of course app Plugs to cover the LEDs This is not intended as advertising, but I thought I'd explain in detail before people ask what these parts are

Die Woche über hat sich die Pflanze gut entwickelt. Ein paar Triebe und Fächerblätter habe ich herausgeschnitten. Zum Ende der Woche habe ich das Cover Crop abgeschnitten; Kickflip, gemalzte Gerste, das CalMagic Kit und IMO4 eingearbeitet und anschließend wieder das Cover Crop als Mulchschicht aufgelegt. Wenn Ich das Bittersalz eingegossen habe werde ich hier noch Hanfmulch aufbringen.

So many leafs are coming back strong. Next Week I think the stretch will be done, so I can do the final defoliation in this grow Space for better overall light penetration.

Got her moved into my closet cuz Temps are about to be wild the next few days. Also transplanted and topped her. Mixed in about a 1/4 cup of bone meal, blood meal, and a thin layer of worm castings

11/12 start of week 3 of flower hoping she is done stretching cus I'm out of room when it comes to height. Gave all the goodies plus added Fulpower and molasses 11/15 stretching seems to have stopped. Dropped humidity and raised vpd to stay around 1.5 and raised light intensity so it's 1000 ppfd at top of plant super cropped the main top to match the height of the side branches. 11/16 watered her with some wdg3000 and saps.

Partway through last week I noticed that there was no runoff after feedings. I increased the time the fertigation pump runs to 2 mins twice a day. It seems like either the root system is drinking up more or the added aeration has changed how much runoff comes out. Plant 1 has fallen behind in growth. The inter-nodal spacing was so tight that the new growth was being strangled by the older fan leaves and other growth. I adjusted the LST to help and pruned a very small amount of leaves. It seems to be doing better, but is several inches shorter than Zkittlez 2 which has had some really explosive growth. I started the scrog today, bending many of Zkittlez 2’s branches down to fill out the tent. I bent a few branches on Zkittlez 1, but it’s still a little short. This week I upped the nutrients, almost doubling the Cocos A & B, Multizen and Cal Mag. I still tried to keep EC down though, only allowing it to rise by about 300mS/cm. This could actually be the first week of flower, but think I’ve started to spot some pistils, but I’m not sure. I can’t find the breeder’s info, but think it’s supposed to have a 4 week veg time and 10 week flowering period. Update: lots of pistils being thrown out especially from Zkittlez 2. It’s definitely the first week of flower. There has been a lot of growth since the start of the week. I continued to bend branches down and tuck them under the net, but now that buds are really starting to take shape I'm going to lay of any further stressing. I noticed that there was little runoff over the past couple days. Yesterday (Monday) I had to refill the reservoir and mix up new nutrients because there was only an inch of water left. These girls have gotten a lot thirstier over the past 2 weeks. I've upped the feeding times to 3 minutes twice a day.

Week 2 This week I put a humidifier in the tent for a few days. Without it the humidity is around 42-49%, with it it is around 55%. I don't know if this makes sense.. Maybe one of you has some advice for me, thanks in advance. I noticed that the leaves were slowly starting to curl up at the edges. I then did some research and hung the lamp higher, about 120cm above the leaf tips and reduced the power from 50% to 40%. I hope that I have solved the problem. So far I think the leaves of the plants look better. I watered every ~ two days - without draining - and since yesterday the water quantity has been 1.5L per plant divided into 3x0.5l watering units (water, wait 30min to 1h, water again, wait, etc.). I added 6ml of CalMag to 3 liters of osmosis water. I put the last Biobizz tab into the soil and filled the pot with some more soil. 7/27/2023- Prep Tent and system are cleaned and ready to go from my last grow. I have submitted my Journa for the Diary of the Month Competition here is to hopeing for good resutls. 7/28/2023- Germination Day 0- Seed initiation Well lets get this new Grow started.. So My Dad Sent me a custom Strain that he wanted me to grow out and Breed for him. The Strain is Called Red Rhino: Red Rhino is an amazing strain coming from Israel and boasts a 60% Sativa and a 40% Indica. This strian comes from crossing double gum and master kush. Effects are an increased appetite, as well as giving you ephoric feelings throughout the whole day. RO Water Used Added Hydrogen Peroxided 8/1/2023- Germination Achieved G-Day 1 Popped her head above the root riot today to say hello.. Woot first challenge when dealing with an unknown seed and a new Strain is getting the seed to pop and the lady to show life. 8/2/2023- Germination Day 2 Took the root riot out today and it was soaked not good plant drowing again. I am still having a hard time finding the right blance for where the water should be to keep the root riot moist and not soaked. I had to drain some of the water out of the root riot plug to help give a little oxygen. I also removed some of the water. 8/3/2023- Germination Day 3 Looking good stretching her leaves out to let in the lights 8/4/2023- Germination Day 4 Looking good a few days until I put them into the RDWC System and get this thing rocking and rolling. 8/5/2023- Germinaiton Day 5 Looking good will probably plant tomorrow if the roots are still looking good. 8/6/2023- Plant Day- Germination Day 6 Planted into the RDWC System today. Joy when they go into the system as long as we dial that in right this will now be a great grow.. Survived the hard part.. 8/7/2023- Germination Day 7 Fell over today I am worried.., she is showing some damage on the lower leaves from the over watering in the cloning machine but right now I don't see any new damage. Supported the Stems with little improvised pole to help her stand up. 8/8/2023- Germination Day 8 Added the first Nutes today, to help support root growth and to help give there first jump to growth. SUNDAY 5/19: I accidentally left my UV timer in the "ON" position all night and half of the next day...fearing sudden death, I have moved everybody that was almost ready into the dark tent, including the two Tangies and will start harvesting them tomorrow..maximum UVB stress for about 20 hours...if it works out that they are even more potent than expected without turning brown overnight, I'll claim it was "intentional," and purport it as an "advanced technique" 😉 MONDAY: The both looked fine..no signs of UV damage, so I left them in the dark tent for another day. I'll harvest them both tomorrow and probably wet trim Tina and hang-dry Tanya..she's gonna be a lot of work and I have 5 other plants to harvest as well tomorrow...and I've got to flush several others and water the rest. Both of these plants absolutely WREAK without even molesting them..delightfully dank!😋👍

Quebec blast is growing good. Still struggling with nitrogen toxicity. I changed solution, and lowered to a 200 ppm. Excellent growth still. I applied lst, and defoliation today.
