Week 8, Day 50 - FLOWER: 06/13/2021
After inspecting the trichome development for the last 7-10 days or so, I’ve decided that today would be the ideal time to begin flushing. The American Pie #1 does not look like it’s ready to begin flushing quite yet, as she appears to be about a week behind in maturity. Despite that, I’ll still begin flushing her today too.
Recycled water: 70ppm, 69℉
+ pH Up: 7ml
Mixture: 95ppm, 6.4 pH, 69℉
ppm/ppm = runoff/soil
JB#1 - 895/800, 6.1 pH
AP#1 - 529/434, 6.5 pH

Week 8, Day 51 - FLOWER: 06/14/2021
Did a trichome check on the plants today. Spent more time with the Jelly Banana to better determine her maturity level. She actually looks like she is ready to harvest today. I’d say trichomes are 75-80% milky, with an amber trichome here and there.
I’m going to try and push her through at least one more low-ppm watering and test the runoff. If I start seeing more amber trichome development, I will cut her down.

[SUMMARY]
I expect this to be my last full week of flower. All the girls are looking ripe for the chopping.
The aroma that bursts out of the tent when I unzip it every time is heavenly. American Pie #1
is still about a week behind in maturity, but she will get cut down with the other plants
regardless. Jelly Bananen started to turn a lime green color so she'll probably get chopped
and hung up in the next few days when my second tent arrives (4x2 AC Infinity).

This was a really fun week i started prototyping an irrigation system, i might try and 3d print some new nozzles.

I'm going away for 30 days about a week into this grow. I'm going to automate weeks 1 through 5 by using the Blumat watering system along with the automated fan from AC Infinity. Hopefully, these will keep things going while I'm gone. I've never used the Blumat products before and I'm excited to see their potential. If I succeed, I'll return to happy 5-week old plants. If not, I'll have to start a new grow...which is what I was going to do anyway. I have nothing to lose but a couple of seeds. Let's get this automated grow started.
Day 1 - I placed the seeds directly in a fist-sized clump of Coast of Maine Seed Starter soil that was then placed in a 3-gallon pot full of Coast of Maine Stonington Blend. This will ensure the seedling doesn't get exposed to the nutrient-rich soil too soon. I set the light 2 feet above the top of the pots so they have room to grow into the 18" to 12" range. I also set the light strength to 60% during germination. The temperature in the tent remained 75 degrees and humidity was 70%. I also covered the soil over the germinating seeds with mason jars to act as humidity domes.
Day 4 - Both pots sprouted this morning. I immediately removed the mason jar humidity domes. I also increased the light to 70% strength and installed the Blumat watering system to help me keep things growing while I'm gone.

This girl is moving along. Thinking she will start to ripen up in the next couple weeks. I switched my photos to 12/12 today so she will be getting the same light. Watering her twice a day about a cup each time. The aroma still bursts like fresh lemons. Excited to taste this girl and even more excited to run one of these on a proper grow in a dutch bucket next round.

This is honestly one of my favorite strains I have grown so far, it is amazing all the way around! Smell is like a funky ice cream, taste very fruity & very strong! Will have some more updates and a weight update soon, thanks for following friends!

Great week, very fast plant to grow, will be ready in 9 weeks. Big plants , smell super strong. Smells exactly like turpentine and diesel. Really dark purple, Camara doesn't do justice, thanks everyone

Ehi ragazzi! La ragazza questa settimana sta davvero cercando di "scalare il cielo" ,tutta la pianta le foglie le cime gli steli , sono tutti propensi verso l alto! È davvero interessante come genetica! Le cime si stanno facendo sempre più grosse e succose! L'odore di runtz sta iniziando a farsi sentire e le cime sono super appiccicose! Cosa posso volere di più?! Penso che la piccola ragazza mi darà grandi soddisfazioni! Grazie a Mars hydro e Sweet seeds che hanno reso questo possibile!! Buon 420 a tutti regazzz!!

Clean nutrient tank for the last time...This is last week of flowering for almost all girls.
Electrical Conductivity (EC): 0.8 for this week..
Purple Lemonade: First pheno is insane! Shape, size ,color, bud hardness, appearance, frostiness' all attributes to become photo model!
Beautiful and high odor in the room!
Lighting Parameters: PAR Map: Maximum PPFD is 800, minimum PPFD is 550.
VPD: Ranges from -0.1-1.1
Daytime Temperature (DT): 23-24°C.
Nighttime Temperature (NT): 19-20°C.
Leaf Temperature: 21-22°C.
Light Distance: 45-55 cm from the plants.
CO2 Levels: 700+ ppm.
HLG Scorpion Diablo: Set at 60%, positioned at a 45-55 cm distance.
Girls drink less water, so for this week and till the end of flowering new misting timing's
Daytime: ON for 50 seconds, followed by 30 minutes OFF.
Nighttime: OFF for 50 seconds, followed by 45 minutes OFF.
Nutrient Tank (NT):
pH: Maintained between 5.80 and 6.00. Stable PH, small drifting up and downs
EC: 0.87
Temperature: 19-21°C

Starting to get some nice purple colours on #4 buds and Ozz leaves! Not super visible on the video but looking really good.
Also had an unpleasant surprise the other morning, due to wind gusts the support went out the pot and #4 straight bent to 90 degrees. Looks like it happened around 3/4am and I only saw it around 9am, so she got pretty roughened up but no actual damage to report. Same for Dorel, a brush fell on a lower branch but didn’t break anything.
The learning here as it is the second time it happens, both time just before I water them: I suspect drier medium is less efficient in holding the plant when there is a lot of wind.

🗓️ Week 13 – Flower Week 9 ✅ (Final Phase & Flush)
🌿 General
The final phase has begun – all plants are now in flush using Flawless Finish, and visible fade-out is setting in.
Trichomes on Cherry MAC Muffin are mostly milky with the first signs of amber – the harvest window is opening 🌕✨
pH is stable at 6.2–6.3, and runoff EC is slowly decreasing as nutrient reserves are being properly depleted.
🍒 Cherry MAC Muffin – Status
➤ Initial runoff was high at 3.7 EC, likely due to salt release from the substrate
➤ Now stable at ~2.7 EC
➤ Still showing vigorous growth, with vivid colors and heavy resin production 💪❄️
➤ One more thorough flush planned next watering, then the final dry period begins.
Flush Setup
Using CalMag at EC 0.3 + Flawless Finish (2 ml/L)
Fade-out is clearly visible and progressing as planned.

Brutal nuggets, you can see those diamonds shining, very compact, sticky, full of trichomes and a beautiful fragrance, I've enjoyed this strain so much guys, very special, I can recommend this strain if you want top quality fast!

Diese Woche gehts nach draußen, denn das Wetter ist gut und die Eisheiligen sind durch.
Die Tropicana Cookies hat ihren Endtopf bezogen und darf jetzt als erste im Außenbecken schwimmen.
Das System besteht aus 2 Solarzellen. Die linke betreibt eine kleine Luftpumpe und hat sogar einen integrierten Akku, sodass sie auch nach Sonnenuntergang noch weiter pumpt. Bis zum nächsten Morgen schafft sie es allerdings nicht.
Die Leistung ist eher mäßig, aber ich habe durch einen anderen Schlauch und einen durchlässigeren Airstone alles rausgeholt, was möglich war.
Die rechte Solarzelle betreibt eine kleine Teichfontäne, die ich direkt gegen den Deckel spritzen lasse. So läuft die NL am Deckel und am Topf entlang bekommt dabei viel Oberfläche. Ich hoffe damit die NL zusätzlich mit Sauerstoff anreichern zu können und die NL an sich so weit in Bewegung zu halten wie in einem RDWC.
Die Zelle ist nicht besonders Leistungsstark und dadurch pumpt die Pumpe tatsächlich nur, wenn die Sonne scheint. Ob das reicht werden wir in diesem Experiment feststellen. 😅
Dann habe ich zusätzlich noch den Eimer Isoliert, indem ich einen 40L Stofftopf drüber gezogen habe. Der Schatten schützt den schwarzen Eimer vor der Sonne.
Die Steine auf dem Deckel schirmen den Deckel ebenfalls ab und halten abends ein wenig die Wärme, sodass der Eimer langsamer und hoffentlich etwas weniger in der Temperatur schwankt. Ich werde aber wohl noch eine Abdeckung bauen, da ich mit der Optik sehr unzufrieden bin.
