It’s a small but significant distinction that keeps things accurate and aligned with the plants’ development. 🌱 Defoliation: Timing is Everything! Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! [ Information ] For all information on this grow, including strain and grow room details, please see Week 1 of Veg. [ Updates ] Day 10 - Topped at the end of Day 9. Foliar sprayed with neem at lights on today. C02 has been increased to 800 ppm average, humidity lowered to 70%. Light power has been increased, now running at 35%. Amazing growth, finally removed all the rogue sunflowers as I didn't notice any significant gains having them. They're getting thirsty today but I'm going to give them another day, possibly 2, before I feed again. I'd like one last heavy wet/dry period for root stretch and then I'll go heavy with some organic nitrogen into flip. I can't use the same net as previous harvests because of the new room design so I'll have to create a new frame to start building the final even canopy. I'm fairly happy with how both groups of plants are growing into an even canopy within their expected timelines. Day 12 - Light intensity increased to 40%. Fed today, 1.05ec (6.8ph) with 10-15% runoff. No signs of light bleaching or stress, their leaves are almost always praying upwards. They could use a lollipopping, but with how quick they're growing I'll most likely wait until a couple days before flip to clean them up now.

Day 79 17/09/24 Tuesday Feed today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6. Seeing good developments, buds forming nicely, divines are smaller denser structures but the buds are not lacking! Damn I'm surprised by 2L pots. Day 81 19/09/24 Thursday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 only today. Day 83 21/09/24 Saturday Another feed to push this week they seem to be handling it 💚. Fattening up on the buds now and pistils starting to mature. Day 84 22/09/24 Sunday (End of week) Damn!! Noticed I have leaf rollers!!! Damn caterpillar, from moths. So I have removed affected leaves and areas and this AGAIN will affect yeilds on all plants...but I have determined the strains I will re run ! Let's hope we make it too the chop 😅💚

Weekly Update: Aug 6th Textbook grow, no significant issues to address, super resistant to high heat which is consistent with the pheno's under high power FS-LED's. Dolomite lime top-dress early on has kept root-zone pH under control, due for another top-dress soon. 10% Runoff @ 2 gal (will be going up to 2.5 gal for 15-20%): 1900ppm, pH 5.5 (meh).

*LOS FERTILIZANTES SON HACIA LAS OTRAS PLANTAS NO TERMINADAS NO LA QUE SE CORTO ESA SOLO AGUA* *reemplazo bio bloom por monster bloom como los dos son PK la planta se sobrefertiliza* semana 10 y se va de corte la primera contento de terminar mi primer diario entero en esta plataforma cogollos llenos de resina muy contento con la producción en 68 días desde germinación *la planta en total creo un poco menos que el doble de lo que se corto pero fui sacándoselo de a poco antes* ahora solo queda esperar secar y las otras que vienen en camino 70.85 gramos en humedo contando tallos y una hoja de viento por rama espero marcar unos 15 en solo cogollos y ya secos LST en las dos ramas principales de una de las que viene siguiente muy compacta en lo personal me gustan los cogollos con casi nada de hoja (de esto dependerá cuanto raspe en la garganta) por lo que el humo entra sin dejar ninguna molestia muy suave y sativo

The girls are developing properly, frosting is beginning to be clearly visible.Also the smell has become clear and very intense.White Widow X Big Bud is the most noticeable.From today, the girls are switching to a different spectrum of light, UV light will be added.

Harvest day - I save my harvest post for the yield results so I have one more to follow. Beautiful grow though and really impressed with the yield and results. I typically only grow indoors, this is my first full outdoor grow with a photo actually. It definitely changed how I view growing seeing the plants react outdoors. Also I’m in newly legal NY state and we would not be here today if it wasn’t for people like Jack Herer fighting for us at the most difficult times to do it. Jack was born in Buffalo, NY so this grow was a grow to pay homage to a man that led the way. This strain has also won the 2nd most cannabis cups behind only Skunk #1 a strain well deserving of the Jack Herer name.

We were getting some yellowing on the tops so we dimmed the light to 60% (from 75%).. a light meter would go a long way here lol.. no new calcium def spots though so i think we're finally good there.. we recently bought a 5x5 tent to replace this 4x4 and hope to have it up by next week! She grew up nicely very healthy and strong and she produced a decent amount of organic clean cannabis, It's great and just what I work for because I'm a patient that needs to grow his weed and doing it making sure I grow them naturally and organically. The result is a very fruity and and tropical aroma, the purple color makes her even more beautiful. It's just a dream man, I love it, I just love to grow this strain, the 4 plants I grew had the same aroma very tropical and fruity, super sweet.

I will grow this plant again in a few days but this time without overfeeding.

2 weeks of flowering (currently 12.5h light) are done and the plants are doing well! I have upgraded the grow box a bit, I now have a TAPO sensor for humidity and temperature that automatically turns off/on the ventilation system Tomorrow the automatic watering system will be installed, more pictures will follow. Update: Watering system added, took me quite some time to install but figured out how I can make each plant get the same amount of water. It is a cheap wifi system from Aliexpress, 25€.

Hey everyone! Here's the Week 6 update! 😀 and I had some issues! Nothing too serious but still worth mentioning! I had some kind of algae growing in my medium so I stopped watering the plants for a while (I used to feed them twice a week) and I just did it once this week to wait for the plants to use more of the water inside their pots and I think it did work! I also removed most of the soil on the top to avoid spreading anything dangerous to my plants! 😭 Besides that I started doing a more aggressive LST and I also pruned some of the bigger sugar leafs 😲 My plants were also somewhat overfed (or I was close to nutrient locking them) as some of their leafs were quite dark (you'll be able to notice the difference from the color of the new leafs vs the old ones) so for the next schedules I'll just feed them once per week or feed them once then go only with pH'd water and then go back to fertilizers to avoid damaging the plant! 💀 On another note, the smallest plant has grown quite well so next week I'll be swapping her to a new por! I think she deserves it! The 3rd plant now has a name and it's "Boomer"! 😍 I also decided to go for 4 colas instead of 8 because the size available in my tent is small and I don't want risking my plants fighting for light in such a small space! 😢 Anyway, thanks everyone for reading everything so far!
