FBA 2025 turned Frostbanger was a fun grow in many ways. First, my friend gifted me the seed and I grew outside while she grew inside. It was fun to watch the plants grow in different settings and different growing methods. If you have been following me, then you know our weather has been crazy here. We have had lows of 50* and highs of 90*. We had a hail storm and lots and lots of rain. Today, I was. forced to take my Frostbanger down. I found a couple of buds rotting and it is supposed to rain for the next 4 days, so this grow has come to an end. But first, true to Frostbanger's description, "Just keep in mind, this strain’s dank, pungent odor is super strong—meaning a carbon filter is a must to mask the aroma in any grow room and she’ll make her presence known when grown outside" and boy did my backyard smell. Also, just like its name, it is a "trichome-studded beauty." Sticky, sticky, sticky. It also had a nice fruity smell, almost like a cantaloup. I like to wet trim, so I spent the past 2 days trimming. My wet bud weight is 102.19 ounces. Not A big harvest. Had to throw away some bud rot and I had to take this plant down early --But that is how a hail storm, cold weather, hot weather, Rain and more rain will effect a harvest. I'm happy to be somewhat successful. FYI: today's weather: It has rained 2.05 inches in the past 24 hours and expecting 1.6 inches in the next 24 hours.. I am pretty proud of Frostbanger's cola as it is 10 inches long and approximately 9 inches around. Wish I could have seen it with 2 more weeks of growth. I may not have the growing experience of others, but I am super happy with this grow and glad I could enter a contest. It was fun!

Today (49 day) heavy defoliation, few days ago add 0.5 ml/L PK additive. Plant height is 140 cm now! See videos

Wow she over doubled in height this week growing 20cm! But take a look at the video I took. She has 3x stalks!!!!!!!! One stalk has split, then split again! I have not topped/fimmed this at all. No training. Possibly the stress she suffered in her second week has triggered this? Not sure but she looks healthy enough so far! Also just entering flowering I think.

A lot going on this week!! Feeding 3 quarts every Sunday and Wednesday at this point. I did a light defoliation on Monday and did a more thorough defoliation on Friday! I opened up a lot of bud sights and it shows in the pics from late in the week!! I just turned the fan and carbon filter on. Temps are currently holding at 73-74F and the humidity is between 43-45%. I'm very happy with that! I hope to keep them both happy!! Enjoy!

Trying something new this grow. Put this girl under 12/12 on Dec 14 and started flowering nutes on Dec 21. She's already flowering heavily, bud sites all over her!

Flowering day 11 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The first days of this week it looked really terrible for me because it was much too cold because of the unusual temperature. The heating mat has now also arrived for the big tent and lo and behold the plants have been developing really well since that day ☺️👍. The temperature doesn't keep quite as well as in the small box, but at least I don't get below 18 degrees in the pots at night anymore, even though it's only 16 at the top 😅👍. Since I switched to flowering, it was time to rinse off a bit with Clean Fruits :-) . Did them a lot of good. It's day 11 since they sprouted and I must say I love what they are showing,😍 Since a few days it is clear to see the differences between the two pheno's. Pheno 1 is looking good, the first leaves had 5 blades instead of the normal 3 and is creating a beautifully Indica shaped plant💪 Pheno 2 has a little mutation on the fist leaves where she produces only two blades and they are partially grown together, but she has a nice development. I have no Idea at this stage which of the two I will leave for flowering. I have only watered them once since the beginning, with 1litr of water each and a bit of root stimulator, the BAC Lava Soil keeps moisture very well and that allows me to water less frequently. As you can see the vertical development of the plants is not rapid, but as I said before, this is strain that has a prolonged vegetation time so I would say it is going good. Fingers crossed it all goes well. 😎

defoliating this week and going to begin cutting off the nutrients ive been giving them. Plant 2 is ahead of the others currently, with a super citrus smell coming off of it. It smells like dank oranges. It smells super clean, very excited to see the progress they make this week. They grow up so fast 😄

Big resinous and compact buds, strong smell of the tent its elongated stems are the buds on top getting fatter every week I hope to be surprised with this girl her looks are beautiful great coloring and leaves to go where I need to let her gain more weight and the amber colors are necessary in trichomes, feeding well and requiring more water than the others, even without pure water 😚

Did a lot of defoliation this week so while growth is still obvious, they are exploding. Getting the number of future colas up! Working on getting all the main ones level and outside of rings. Lowered light a little bit and increased cal/mag this week. I have a sunroom with ~200 succulents and buy ladybugs a few times a year to minimize any pests. Put a few in with the girls to keep them company. Photos/video are day 36 since breaking the soil. My little helper in last pic.

Fed her some bloom nutrients, she took it nicely. I will continue to feed her nitrogen into the third week also.

We flushed this baby on Thursday morning September 13. I expect she will be ready to harvest some time in the next 7 days. Starting to yellow up a bit, will be pulling fan leaves daily. Keeping an eye on the trichomes... I'd guess we're in the 10-15% amber range now. After completing the harvest on my smaller outdoor Raspberry Glue yesterday (and getting 10 oz.), I'm wondering if I'll have enough storage space for this monster. Tough problem to have... I'll muddle through laughing.
