The end is in sight! This round with 8 plants in 4 pots (=2 GIRLS IN A CUP) of BANANA KRUMBLE (=Banana Punch x OG-Kush) from GREENHOUSE SEEDS is now in week 15 since germination. They are now flowering since 9 weeks and are starting to fade, that means they start to get ripe. All big fan-leaves are now red or yellow colored and start to wilt away. This is a sign the plant will be ready to harvest soon. In the pics and the VIDEO you can clearly see the purple/reddish coloration of the top-buds and the THICK LAYER of TRICHOMES they have. It is AMAZING to see and I cant wait to try this strain after its harvested and dried. All main- and sidebranches have developed into HUGE COLAS and the bud-structure is very compact...in one word: DANK! The aroma of the BANANA KRUMBLE is sweet and fruity (reminds me of ripe bananas with a hint of cinnamon!) and overwhelmingly STRONG! Every time I open the tent a THICK CLOUD of SWEEY SMELL greets me, its ASTOUNDING! My 3 SANlight LED-lamps still hang at 40 cm distance from the top of the plants. The two Q4W-Gen.2 fixtures on the outside are running at 100% (=3 green lights on dimmer ON) and the Q3WL-Gen.2 in the center is dimmed to 80% (=two green lights on dimmer ON). The HUGE size and compact bud structure shows that the plants LOVE the SPECTRUM and the INTENSITY of the SANlight LEDs. Since I use BIOTABS-nutrients I do NOT NEED TO FLUSH the plants! They only got tab-water all the time, therefore it makes no sense to give them more water of it now. All the nutrients in the soil and the plants should be used up by now (that why the plants start to wilt!) and that ensures a smooth smoke later. When you smoke unflushed weed any nutrients left in the plant matter (especially phosphorus (=P)) will create a harsh feeling in your throat and make you cough, therefore its normally of the UTMOST importance to flush your weed before harvesting. Now its only one more week and harvest time is here...yipppiiie

I like the structure of this plant it starting to look pretty healthy ima hook up the watering system soon and flip to flower soon aswell

Great result for my first one

Week 9 Didn’t do anything this week except water the lady’s. My telescopes batteries died so I can’t take pics of the tricomes. Rest assured they are nice as hell. They are a massive mix of colour. You see purple, cloudy yellow and amber. Super excited to puff on these nugs!!

Stretch is done and flowers are piling on now! I treated with lost coast as a preventative. I kept the feed the same but it will be altered end of grow week. Canopy is getting hella full can't wait to watch these colas stack on. Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

Blueberry is on her way and doing well. I've moved her from the propagation area to the grow tent so hopefully the better conditions will get her growing big and strong. One more week and I will transfer her to her final pot.

Hey grow peeps been out of growing for a while but getting back at it this is my outdoor grow 2020 got some GSC, fruity pebbles X ATF, lemon meringue auto, stardawg and my own outdoor f1s all good at present rain over past days is flushing them but I'll get them sorted whe I hey some good weather!

These girls are just days away from harvest! I will closely monitor their pistils, calyxes & trichomes throughout the week so I can determine exactly when to give these girls their two days darkness before chop! They are all starting to fade out really nice and the smell just keeps getting stronger each and every day! After this last feed/flush I will only give these girls R/O-Distilled Water with nothing added whatsoever. Please enjoy the videos I posted of the girls! Thought I’d add some music to the videos vs loud condenser microphone picking up fans 🤣 Only videos for now, I will post actual pictures and macro shots throughout the week before harvest. Update: 9/7 The pistils and trichomes are about right where I want them. I’d say I have about 90% Cloudy, 7% Clear & 3% Amber Trichomes. A majority of pistils have gone from white to amber and have retracted. The girls have stopped drinking water so I transferred them to my darkroom to finish off for two days. After the two days I will chop and hang at 67°F @ 55%RH for 8-10 days until the stems begin to snap.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Ja die Manderin Cream wächst jetzt am Tag mindestens 5 cm. Es haben sich sehr viele Blüten gebildet. Habe jetzt den Ec wert auf 1200. Die Pflanze trinkt am Tag 0,9 Lieter und ich fülle den Tank jeden Tag mit ca. einen Lieter auf mit einen Ec wert von 1087. Erhöhung von B52 und Big bud und Tasty terp. Habe noch keinerlei erfahrungen mit Automatic und wusste nur , das sie in der Blütephase kein stress vertragen.. Deshalb habe ich die Entlaubung nicht gemacht.. Werde 3 wochen vor der Ernte etwas entlauben... Aber ich muss mich erstmal genauer mit der Blütezeit befassen.. oder es genauer im Blick behalten durch vergleiche hier im netz. Habe hier Züchter gesehen mit der cream Manderin die 14 wochen Blütezeit hatten.. oder Sie so lange Blühen ließen..und nicht wie angegeben 9 wochen und fertig... Aber die ergebnisse wahren echt Top bei den anderen .. schauen wir mal...
