Still in trim Jail so not sure what final weight will be . It really varies because I had too many and it was crowded. The final product is super AAA though. I will post some pictures later of some trimmed stuff. Pulled off 1.3 grams/watt I suppose that is ok.

Hello everybody! :) The 4th week of growth. I continue to train the growth, try bending it every day. I water the plant every day: 1 day fertilization / 1 day water. Fertilizers from the RQS COMBO package works perfectly. I add additional root stimulator from GHE and Diamond nectar. I will give one more week to VEG growth, then I will down to12 hours of light to provoke flowering. Also next week a grid will be installed to adequately control the tent area. In the photo you can see the result of FIM cropping. now the baby will have 4 heads instead of 1. I removed all the large leaves for better air circulation and for better light penetration. I did a heavy defoliation last week,so majority of this week was about getting my plant back to a healthy phase. I did alot more LST as you can tell in the video to start more of an even canopy. I also raised my light by 4 inches to provide a little more stretch in each branch so I'd be able to manipulate it more with LST next week.

I posted the video with music and then the whole video that shows the Z-up at the end. Frostbanger, purple haze, and test strain fba2504 are flowering beautifully. The Z-up is just now in the early flowering stage and she is doing fantastic!

Sep 7: what a great plant. Totally love how it’s going. Flowers keep getting fatter and heavier and she’ll be done before the end of September. Sep 8: there a tree root sticking up a bit in my yard which means the plant can be tilted toward the late afternoon sun. This is helpful because the sun is getting really low to the horizon already and we’re down to 13 h of daylight. Plus now direct sun is done in my yard by about 6 pm. Indirect light is okay but you really want direct sun at all times. Videos shows use of 730 nm far red light at dusk. Just a few seconds is all it takes to set the plant into dark mode two hours faster. It’s a bloom booster because you get two bonus hours of darkness or a 26 h day. Very effective but don’t miss a night and you have to adjust the timing each night. When starting this on July 20 Civil Twilight, as listed on timeanddate.com for my location, was at 9:45 and today it was at 8:40 pm. The red light at dusk is a highly recommended trick if you have daily access to your outdoor plants. Also works indoors, of course, and on autos too. Also I think it helps ‘stabilize’ the plant by emphatically putting it into dark mode, and therefore less susceptible to stray light to cause a hermie. Have not had hermie problems in four seasons of using the red light so that is my only ‘proof’ but it is true so far, even with taking flash pics before using the red light. Sep 9: getting heavier and now more branches are weighed down and slumping against the scrog net. Nice problem to have, I know, and without the scrog net some of the branches would be breaking off now. She’s now officially too big and too top heavy to keep moving around the yard in pursuit of direct sun. Sun is much lower to horizon now and direct sun hours are dropping too. Sep 10: getting close to done and getting very top heavy. Awesome. Sep 12: raining today. Has been cool last few nights and some purple colour is just starting to show. I don’t want to overdo fertilizer near the end, but I decided she is showing K deficiency. I’m out of malted barley but I still have potassium silicate, so I used that and some cal-mag. I’m avoiding kelp and molasses or using more P at this late stage because that can make the dried bud hard to burn and that really sucks. So, potassium silicate and cal-mag it is. The potassium silicate raises the pH and it takes about the same volume of vinegar to get the pH down. A good does of acetate is likely good for the bugs in the soil too. Then a squirt of Dr Bronners soap as a surfactant and that also supplies some biodegradable carbon for the bugs in the soil. Seems to work overall and is cheap. 1st week. Plants all sprouted wed-thursday

Here we go. Week 8. I’d say my best grow so far. Girls are stretching as expected, they have plenty of room so not issue. There are plenty of buds forming so I can’t wait how this grown turns out. :)

Bud wet weight : 168,1g of trimmed medium to big sized buds 25,4g of tiny tiny buds/larfs = 193.5 grams of trimmed wet buds. Details on genetics and smoke report above. This, as my first grow, is way more than I ever expected it to be. I haven´t had that much fun and enthusiasm in a very very long time. I can´t even explain the feeling it is to harvest your own cannabis, but I know most of you know what I´m talking about haha. It was really nice to practice LST, even tho it was SO HARD, ´cause I didn´t had barely any space to work since I used a hard pot and did not fill nearly half the size of it and the walls of the pot were really high. It was even difficult to water without dropping water on the lower buds. I haven´t learnt much about defoliation tho, I feel I need to study a little more about the phases you should or should not do it. Also, I discovered thrips are a pain in the ass. I had 2 tough weeks dealing with thrips, but in the end it was alright. I don´t have any humidity control device, which I intend to buy for the next grows. Growdiaries was really helpful for me, it kept me motivated everyday (not that I wouldn´t have had it anyways), the Grow Questions are REALLY useful and all the community is awesome. Thanks to all people that helped me here on GD during this first grow! To conclude it: I am really happy and satisfied with how the grow turned out. They look incredible, it almost feels like I can´t believe it still. Peace. UPDATES: 07/10 : The buds are now dry and already in curing jars, one of them with a Boveda 58% humidity pack. The total grams of the dry buds are: 41.4g (medium to big sized buds) 4.1g (tiny buds) = 45.5 grams! I´m really happy with the results, I thought it would be around 30g so yeah, that´s a really good surprise! In 2 weeks I´ll be back to update the smoke report. Thanks so much for reading! Peace. 09/10 : I managed to fit everything in the same container with some space between them, so now every bud is with the Boveda pack. 14/10: It´s been a week and the smell improved, it still smells a little like hay/plant ( even tho it´s not too dry neither too wet ). 21/10: Now it´s been two weeks and even tho the smell isn´t anymore hay, it´s a lot herbal. I really think the aroma can get better, but the taste is already good enough for me. The smoke report has been done and in case I have something to add, I´ll report here. After topping last week,we flipped to flower! I've been training the girl down with LST wire. Want as level as I can until I reach the edge of the light. But I've been increasing the light intensity slowly this run. Normally I just blast them but went slow over the week. Getting water more often now and will install the self watering pots today. Hello and welcome to week 7 for Enigma. Last week is now up to date. She was poisoned a few days ago and I'm trying to save her. Took off dead leaves today and fertigated with normal strength. Not super strength. Day 46: I've stabilised her but she's in rough shape. Day 48: Long video lots of detail. Day 49: A hard hard week. Almost killed her. Unsure where she goes from here but at least she doesnt take up any space!
