Hey Grow Diaries fam, Welcome back to another update on our PCR adventure! We're at Week 9, which marks Week 4 of the flowering stage, and things are getting exciting! Overview The PCRs are flourishing, and the transformation is nothing short of spectacular. The tent is buzzing with energy, and every day brings new developments. The buds are swelling beautifully, and the trichome production is off the charts. This week has been all about maintaining optimal conditions and ensuring our ladies get everything they need to reach their full potential. Environment and Conditions Tent: 3x3, cleaned and prepped from top to bottom to ensure a pristine environment. Lighting: ViparSpectra P2000, delivering a perfect spectrum for this stage of growth. The balanced PAR output and efficient energy use keep our girls happy and thriving. Watering: TDS at 410, pH 5.8, and water temperature at 21°C. This ensures the nutrients are perfectly balanced and readily available. Nutrient Regimen We’ve kept up with our Aptus Holland feeding schedule, and it's paying off big time. Here's the current mix: Nutritional Spray: Aptus Holland NutriSpray to keep those leaves lush and healthy. TopBooster: Replaced StartBooster with TopBooster to promote flower development. P-Boost: Added to the mix for that extra phosphorus kick, crucial for blooming. K-Boost: a must for them to go fat as we like. The results speak for themselves – lush green foliage and robust bud formation. Defoliation At the end of this week, we performed a mass defoliation. It's always a bit nerve-wracking, but the results are worth it. Removing excess leaves ensures better light penetration and airflow, reducing the risk of mold and pests. Plus, it allows the plant to focus its energy on bud production. And let me tell you, after the defoliation, the PCRs look sexy as ever with their long legs and sculpted structure! Clones Update Our clones are thriving, showing the longest and whitest roots I've ever seen. We treated them with a water mix that included K-Boost and Mycor Mix at 1 gram per liter. This combination has worked wonders, promoting vigorous root development and overall plant health. Reflections This week has been a testament to the importance of a clean environment and precise nutrient management. The PCRs are responding exceptionally well, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with their progress. We're well on our way to an incredible harvest, and I can't wait to see these beauties in full bloom. Start to add bigbud today with tapwater

OMG! Miss Gorilla was showing her strength this week and grew a whopping 9 inches this week. The sun is shining and she is drinking 1 gallon of nutrients a day. @Fastbuds website says, "Plant Appearance This lady likes to stay low and will usually grow to a height of 60-130cm. Her growth structure is short and bushy, thanks to her sativa dominance, and will grow one main central cola, with fat side branches all around. Once flowering starts, expect Gorilla Auto to fill out thick and fast, as she begins to pack on size, weight and go crazy with the trichome output. From seed to harvest she is ready in 9-10 weeks, where she will finish with a short and fat appearance." So far, Miss Gorilla is keeping up to her description. I took a magnified picture and it shows me that Miss Gorilla will probably be in flower next week. It looks like she is in the beginning stages of flower. @Fastbuds website said to, "add support around this strain, to help the side branches during the flowering stage" which I have done by LST with her side branchs. I have tied them down to allow light in and support growth. I am feeding her 1 gallon on nutrients a day right now and @Fastbuds website said, She can take a big feed especially during week 3 and onwards." So, I am on target with that information. I also have a pool umbrella protecting all of my plants from the direct sun. As always, please comment and let me know what you think of Miss Gorilla.

So excited I'm turning her onto flowering today stems are nice and thick and leaves are green and healthy I'm very happy with her

July 20th, 57 days post flip. Plant is maturing well. I was worried with the color changes that she wouldn’t put on much weight but the buds are still fattening and gaining weight. Starting to see some of the branches not caught by the scrog starting to collapse. Most Trichomes are still clear, seeing some orange Trichomes on the leaves but none at all on the calyxes so thinking another week or two. I did lower the lights from 80% down to 60% on July 19th to slightly lower my DLI in the last week or two. Will continue to give only water, been watering by hand as the auto set up was under watering. She seems to be responding much better to hand waterings. Smell has been and still is crazy, cannot wait to smoke this thing. I tried squeezing one of the upper buds and she is beyond dense, I couldn’t even get the bud to collapse. I took a small popcorn and will give it a test in a week or two likely around the same time the plant gets chopped. God bless!

Good grown Plant, dense and big buds. And damn the smell is crazy !! It has a really strong kushy smell to it and it has a really nice color also.

last one standing of four. One seed never took, two males courteey of prankster BeanswithPork, and that leaves us with one health JOTI. Scroggibg through the fence and opening up bud sites is the name of the game. Wife has no clue

Week 1 of flower 👍🏾

We are officially in full bloom. The have been enjoying 6-7 hours of sun light per day for about 4 days now, then brought back in under the cobs. The girls are all exploding with growth and stacking what I expect to be huge buds.

Auto Flower AK Triple Haze (A-AK3H) by Super Sativa Seed Club: Day 42 from seed, 17 Days in flower. All are Green, healthy & growing. Still running a comparison of living soil+Teas vs Coco/Perlite+Fertilizer. Dramatic difference as you can see in the video. Not a lot of difference in Bud size though. But we will see. Still some time for the stack & ripening stages. Exception of course is A-AK3H #3 whom is the runt of the litter since it began. Weekly Environment: 77F, 46% RH, 975ppm CO2, & yesterday moved to 1100-1300PPFD 12hr Lighting. A-AK3H #1, 2, & 3 all received 2 teas this week along with an amended soil application to keep up with nutrition.

I don't believe I'll need to do any daily updates for the rest of the grow. Everything is dialled in and I'm ready to use what I've learnt for the next grow. I will be adding to this week in regards to writing up a summary of everything I've learnt so far and how I expect to improve upon the next.

Okay so everything is okay atm but my shower isn’t working which is opposite the grow room so I just shut the door and put a visible dehumidifier in the hall. Seems to work to drown out the fan in the tent. Plant looks okay - think she needs a little more N still. We’ll see how it reacts to the newest res change and react accordingly - at least it’s all stopped flooding!

Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!

First week of Veg is done after the propagator tent. Clones looking good so far - getting healthy again. Startet LST.

Well i figured i would try some different this week. I main lined her and topped her on day 9. Lets watch and see how she responds. I feel as though doing this early in veg will allow her more time to adjust before flower. Towards the end of the week 2, four days after the HST....we see 2 new main top braches coming in, as well as some action at the internodal cut point which is indicating a "Fimm" job rather my prior presumption of topping the plant. None the less i am excited to see her grow, and i intend on letting her grow naturally beyond this point....just to see the results.
