This week was good, Did the transplant from 7.5L/2Gal to 28L/7Gal, Stared to do some LST but the main stem broke on two "blue and Red" of the three plants. Kinda sucks but a bit to aggressive, on the third plant "yellow" I also used LST just not as strong and got the shape and placement I was looking for. Will have to wait for the others to heal and then I can try again. IDK how long it will take, but I'll give it a full week. Sucks as the tips will be getting more light then the others. I also ran out of soil so had to make up a half batch as well to top off the pots, got about 8L leftover for transplanting the peppers and what not, tents so full I had to remove the clones and one smaller plant. They are growing in a window now. The extras where Gaia Green All Purpose 4-4-4, Gaia Green Power Bloom 2-8-4, Gaia Green Insect Frass 3-2-4, Gaia Green Seaweed Extract 0-0-17, Bokashi Grains, Epsom Salts, Yeast Powder, Fluvic Acids, Enzymes, Silicon and Multiple Microbes. PH adjusted really low as the amendments have a lot of rock dusts and such, wanted them to be broken down by the time the roots reach em. Watered in with 4L on each container, Should be ok for the first few days, will need to judge how they are doing in a bit and see if their roots are colonizing the new area. no idea how the clones will do outside the tent, Still have them in a plastic bag till I can see roots in the containers they are in. Checking about once a week. My goal is to veg this out for another 3-4 weeks and top it one last time they switch to bloom with a SROG net, should have good coverage and lots of cola sites per plant. Added some straw to keep the top layer from drying out. Feeding it .25 gal of water every 3-4 days.

Today, I watered both plants and checked the drain pH, which came out at 6.1 for both. Blue Dream is thriving—super vibrant, spreading out nicely, and showing great vigor. BCG, on the other hand, has been slightly droopy since transplanting and isn’t opening up as much. I also noticed that BCG holds onto more water compared to Blue Dream, as there was significantly less runoff despite using the same amount of water. The environment remains stable, with a VPD of 1.0. PPFD is set at 450, with the light positioned 35 cm above the canopy. So far, things are progressing well, and I’ll keep a close eye on BCG’s development over the next few days. Topping is planned for the end of week 2, but if BCG doesn’t recover fully, I might wait until the beginning of week 3 before topping her.

Switched to flowering. She grew 10cm in 3 days... absolutely crazy. I took the tough decision to discontinue the TimeLapse. My tent is not big enough to have the camera in a place that kinda makes sense. So I'll be taking manual photos in the coming days and uploading those.

I am attempting to germinate Baked Bomb autoflower from Bomb seeds. Seed was lightly scuffed on ends, and placed in water. 🤞🏻everything goes well. Hope everyone had a great Christmas!!! We have had some crazy cold weather here the last 4 days and for the first time in 13 years had snow on Christmas day. So with the cold and snow came grow room issues. My grow space is outside and not attached to the house so maintaining a proper temperature and humidity has been a bit on the difficult side. Even with the lights running 24 hours, it's had a few drops down to 19c and the humidity has gone up to 68% a few times. Now luckly I'm still in veg and the humidity isn't a issue yet but the temperature has been making me worried. Going to put togther a heater with its own temperature switch increase it drops below 20c. Did some training over the last week with some LST and FIMing. With the LST every 3nd day I've been adjusting them and pulling the plants back a bit more and more. Since I don't think I'll be able to set up a SCRog net this go around (spent to much for Christmas and wont be able to affordthe PVC tubing) ive got to figure out something else and fast. Plants are getting big and it's going to get hard to bend then properly without braking stuff. Because I was showing some issues with 2 of my plants I started adding a bit of Revive to my res to see if they get better and they have. But because of the cold that's been hitting us my tank has had a hard time staying warm. Even with my 50w tank heater it's been fighting a up hill battle because the area outside the main room where the tank is, has been sitting around 14-17c. So with that the air pump I use to circulate the tank, it is pulling in cold air and thats been fighting the tank heater in getting it up to what I like it at. I tried using my water pump instead of the air pump for circulation and the res went up to 25.6c soooo I would much rather have 19c res then water that could kill my plants. So let's talk about the plants themselves. Both Special Queen plants are doing great but as you can see from the picture, one is doing absolutely amazing. Great growth (understatement) and has bounced back from training like a pro. The other plant is still doing really good when compared to all the other plants in the room but still could be a little bit better. Depending on what I'm going to do for supporting the plants this might be the last week of veg. Well see. So this plant was doing great and then about 2 days ago I started to notice issues. Almost looks like leaf rust or a Ph problem but ive tried my best to keep them correct and I'm hopping that like my Ripper badazz plants that they well just grow out of it. Doing a big clean up today in the room so I'm going to keep my eyes open for any pests just incase that's the issue but fingers crossed it isn't. Well that's everything for now. Week 5 of flower 9/6/24 After neglecting to check runoff EC, the reading was 3 and PH 4.7, it's crazy that the plant did not show any signs of damage besides one branch. After flushing the growing medium with RO water + FloraKleen + H2O2 (PH 6.5), the runoff PH was still to high. The problem persisted after watering with 50% dilution nutrient solution and still getting low PH readings and high EC. The solution was to put something underneath the fabric pot, to create a gap for the runoff water to drain freely from the bottom part. Before, the fabric pot was sitting on the plate and the runoff was draining from 2 little holes in the middle to the drain compartment. Right after creating the gap and watering, all the readings were corrected. Fortunately, all salt build up got washed away, and the plant showed no more problems. :) On day 26 days of flower, the nutrient schedule was changed to fit the fifth week of flower. Note to self: check PH and EC every 3 waterings.

Dropped seeds into water for 24 hours, and acclimated the fabric pots to the tents conditions. One 3gal, one 5gal, and one 7gal are going to be used for this grow to see the different outcomes of pot size.

Hola gente! Hermosa semana para esta planta, esta genética es muy fuerte, algo con lo que da gusto trabajar y ver crecer. Se la ve muy bien en el sustrato nuevo, un alto contenido de materia orgánica calculado más o menos para aprovechar la línea de Big Bud que nos dió Plagron. Esta genética tiene un aspecto bastante Índico, buen follaje y poco espacio entre nudos, por lo que alejamos la luz para que se estire un poco y aplicamos LST acercando otra vez la luz para aprovecharla todo lo posible. Apenas fue necesario quitar una hoja antes del entrenamiento. El tallo es muy flexible y resistente a la vez, no quisimos hacer una poda apical para buscar un mega bud en el ápice. Ahora tiene un nivel de humedad más óptimo gracias a el nuevo humidificador, algo de lo que estoy realmente orgulloso 😂 El riego se hace cada 3 días y se realiza con pequeñas aplicaciones para evitar escurrir nutrientes. El pH del agua de riego es 6.5 y la salida es de 7. Un pequeño rastrillado a la zona de alrededor del tallo para mantener el sustrato y no más que eso. Good plant, done in 60 days this time. Wish I saved a clone. Drying at 60%rh and 65°. It was supposed to be a mother plant that was producing clones but ended up putting into flower anyway. It had a rough life and end up going to flower twice during veg which caused multiple rounds of monster cropping on top of each other and required lots of trimming and training.
