DAY 21 FLOWERING: Well it had to happen eventually!!! . I knew it would come to this point.....I had to be brutal and practical as I evicted the Gorilla cookies and the mutant Northern light to a different space... I now have the #1 Northern lights and the Grandaddys Mimosa directly under the XS1500 to really develop them both to the best I can. The light has done a great job developing all 5 to this point and I do think it could have finished them all at a push but , I think seeing how it can grow 2 auto plants in a 2x2 space will be worth the change of plan. I am impressed with this little light and never expected such a growth rate . I really would love to test their new p4000 to see what that beast can do. The northern lights has really worked hard this week on her bud structuring , she looks like she will be stacking her colas on each limb , just the way we like em in the space I have. I did take a little more weak lower growth out of her to focus on the stronger mains as we have hit the point of no more defol . She wont regrow leaf after this point now so the ones remaining will be all she has to power the photosynthesis during flowering. Sugar leaves do not do the same work as the fan leaves and with them being autos , I feel we need the extra boost more than in a photoperiod run. She looks like stretch has finished now too so her size is nice and stocky so she wont need to transfer nutes too far from the roots either. Grandaddys mimosa is also really developing some nice looking golf ball buds all over. She looks like she will be a long cola girl too which is perfect to keep the canopy and light distribution as even as possible with the Northern lights too. She smells a little fruity already and the hint of her Mimosa lemon father is also really evident. So far so good . The 2 Gorilla cookies and the other northern lights are all looking great after being grown under this light and I will include their harvest data in the diary at the end to avoid the diary going haywire. All in all this is going great now and continues to impress me with the capability of this unit. Come on #viparspectra , send me a p4000. Lol Be safe and well growmies.

We started the week happily, with good temperatures and low humidity. The plants are looking good. Here's an interesting tidbit: plant #3 grew as a diploid, and after I cut the apical bud and it split in two, one of the branches tended towards triploid. Only one of the branches, though; the other branch is quite different. It doesn't even produce two branches per node, nor would it even be a conventional diploid. At the end of the week, the temperatures outside dropped again, making it a bit more difficult to maintain a good growing environment.

Plants seem to have recovered from the stress of topping and transplant and are starting to take off. Lamp is turned all the way up now. I stupidly brought in some non-cannabis plants to chill with them, and they brought in some fungus gnats :( Not an insane infestation, I noticed it quickly, but trying to be proactive. Added a fan for more airflow, mosquito bits, neem spray, etc. GAME ON GNATS :) Upped nutrients from 1/8 tsp/gal to 1/4. Will back off if needed but its still a small amount. Trying to test how they take it. Had to raise the lamp a few inches. The plants are growing and so far 16" distance at 100% has been fine. It is currently 15" but I will raise it again another day to fix it. Rotated the bagseed indica to point in the middle of the net. I "f-ed up" the topping of this bush, it was really a FIM. As if it was not bushy enough!!!!! Added a net, not really for elaborate scrog, just "basic" control of which direction things are growing, especially now that they are growing into each other. Rotated the bagseed up front for better positioning. Clearly I sloppily "F- I missed" topping this one, so i really FIM'd it, kind of at least. 4 growths coming out. Just in case this wasn't already hellaciously bushy!!!!

Warning beast of a plant lol My Northern Lights #10 plant is an absolute beast! It's the biggest in the tent, growing incredibly strong. Even the second-deck buds are developing with amazing vigor. This plant is a true powerhouse, and I can't wait to see the massive yield it produces. It's got that classic Northern Lights aroma – earthy and sweet with a hint of pine. This one's gonna be a winner! This past week has been a whirlwind of work, leaving little time for anything else. My phone's camera roll is sadly neglected, with only a few snapshots to show for it. But finally, I'm finding a moment to catch up on my grow diaries. It's been exciting to see the progress, even if it's just through photos. I'm looking forward to documenting the next stage!

Bubble Kush. This week, I FIM'ED the plant on 18.8.25. However, the new growth doesn't seem to show any more tops. I'm not sure what I've done there. but regardless, I will have to wait and see. Other than that, everything is fine, and I'm happy with the progress this week. The plant is still a nice, healthy green colour, and after I FIM'ED the plant, there was quite a lot of new growth. 20.8.25: I watered with 2L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.0 with; 💜 2ml Trace PH: 6.0 PPM: 340 The soil is still drying out due to fungus gnats appearing. I am getting some sticky traps, just waiting for tgem to arrive. There are so many, and it's definitely come from the soil. I am never using this again. Thanks for checking in this week and hanging out in the comments 😊💚✌️🍃🙏

This week was officially the start of the grow season. 6 fem seeds were popped using the paper towel and ziplock method. Stepdad said to hang them on the wall and the tap roots would grow straight down, and they did. Planted after 72 hours germ, 100% popped. Blackhack had a 1" root. Seeds were planted into soiless mix in solo cups with drainage holes. Lights arrived this week from CHYYYYYNA. Two 240w lm301h quantum boards will light up these 6 girls. Im hoping to steal a bit of extra light from the 4x8 beside me Just waiting now

Real good progress this week. Shes looking lovely 👌🏻 Apologies for the lack of pictures through the week (and quality of what I did manage to get) it's been a mad one for me and I haven't had the time I needed to give full attention to the garden and someone's been tending to it while ive not been able to. She's absolutely loving the shogun range and doing real good on it 👌🏻 Really nice structure and seeing her get her stretch on now
