07/12 Ding Ding! Starting week 4 by watering 1.5L after 7 Days. The 1 Liter from week 3 really did a number on them. Theyre still growing fine! The Afghan Kush got stripped naked and bent over. The Blueberry is a tad behind, im just gonna let her ride a bit, see where we go from here. LST got adjusted for both of them. Light is also up to 20/4 with roughly same DLI Watered with 1,5L, 2 ml/L rootjuice, letting it fade out, probably giving one more time next watering then stopping. Activera and grow stayed the same at 2 ml/L, microbes again at 0.4g/l. Starterleaves removed from both plants. More pics to come the following days! 13/12 After the week: Didnt get around to edit, also due to the fact that my raspberry pi was acting up which took me a good 12 solid hours to fix (i say fix, what ended up happening was i wiped the SD card and set everything up again lol) Blueberry is growing nice and bushy, but i left her mostly alone. Afghan Kush is doing fine as well, though she skinny. Both are growing steadily but compared to my last run, they slow. Im still happy so far! Removed some inward facing stems on both plants. Also, both are confirmed to be female. Added timelapse, and see you all next week when we probably head into flower!

She's doing really well so far. I'm curious to see in the coming weeks whether she'll really grow as big as a gorilla.

Our sweet lady survived a week of raind and intense wind, the golden rope you see was helping the buds to stay still and to help save branches from breaking. The lady is super sugary and sticky right now, but the buds seem like they are not gonna thicken more than that. This plant has been stressed multiple times during her lifetime, from broken branches to light overdose, she has been kept away from direct sunlight since than, so this is the cause we attribute to this slower growth. Our biggest doubt is about harvest time. The buds do not seem big at all, but they look very orange and the breed's harvest is said to be in mid October, so we should start flushing! While I think we should wait untill the last week of the month, F. says i's almost time for drying. 😵😲 Looking at some pics of last year's harvest I am afraid this lady is not going to produce as much as we tought, maybe because this is our first experience with so many nutrients. Hope someone can help about harvest and buds overall look 😬😬

Que pasa familia, vamos con la cosecha de estas Gorilla Zkittlez Auto de FastBuds. Por dónde empezar, es una autofloreciente que es normalita de cultivar, tiene un periodo corto de crecimiento y de floración igual no es largo, o igual tendría que haberla dejado alguna semana más no entiendo bien. En cuanto a la alimentación , pues la aplique una vez por semana y a sido suficiente, se a comportado bien en interior, la flor pues no es muy prieta porque no deja de ser una autofloreciente, pero es una flor que va repleta de tricomas. El periodo de luz pues de principio a fin a 18 horas, fue suficiente para completar el ciclo de vida como esperaba. Pretty quiet week. Seeing some yellowing leaves which is a big indicator of a nitrogen issue but I’m hoping that it’s just because I’m in mid flower and not a bigger problem. Mantis Nutrients walked me through my issues and I have flushed the plant. Will now start giving lower doses of nutrients and will slowly increase the amount. The buds themselves are getting really sticky and stinky. Love watching them grow!

The phenotypes of the two plants now show another clear difference. The plant on the left has developed two equally large, beautiful main stems and is small and bushy, as I would expect from an OG Kush or an Indica. The plant on the right has put on another extreme stretch during flowering, as you would expect from a Sativa. I therefore had to tie off the two main stems to prevent them from suffering burns at the top of the lamp. The buds are now clearly visible. The odor has increased significantly and is already very pungent in the third week of flowering. We did not fertilize this week but only added 10g BioEnhancer from GreenHouse Feeding to 1 liter of water.

A smaller one on where i applied 2 techniques, a double topping (Topping x3), and a bit defoliation as can be shown in the video, she ended up with 0.5 m tall, 4 main colas, and the most dense buds i had among my autos. @Weight: The weight dried was surprisingly equal in both plants, while the bigger plant ended up in 67 gr, the small one was 62 gr and with much more bud density and crystal concentration, anyway both plants were very dense and crystal poblated. On wet, the weights were 276 g vs 226 g the smaller, what is translated wet2dry in a 24,28% vs 27,43% for the smaller one FTW!. That difference is very well appreciated in the density of the smaller plant buds, while both are very dense/compact/strong, the smaller plant buds are really MoonRocks. @Trim: Well well well, this part was awesome, very very very little amount of trim material, i finish the trimming of the bigger plant in about 6 min and 15 for the smaller what is real awesome in both cases, and the quality of the trims was incredible too, very good to ice wash it. @ Final product: The final product is almost equal in both plants, the smallest one acquired a stronger taste and concentration of crystals than the taller one, while both tastes are strong grapefruit, when you smoke buds from the small one is like real eating a grapefruit and it leaves a residual taste to orange some seconds after exhaling it, and when you touch or tear up any of both plants, the smell is also very strong to Grapefruit. My friends were shocked by the strong taste and smell to grapefruit it has, really. A la hora de tocarla o desmenuzar cualquiera de ellas el resultado es igualmente un fuerte aroma a pomelo. Mis amigos fumadores se quedaron realmente impresionados del fuerte sabor cítrico a pomelo que tiene, en serio, es increíble. its day 35 since sproud and the plant looks good so far. I removed some leaves and started training her with that bending clips to make the branches stronger. I collected leave mold from the surrounding woods. a lot of white fungy hopefully usefull mycoriza.

Continuing to LST to spread the canopy and open up the plant.

Plants left pretty much unattended the entire week. pH spiked up to 6.5 during this time, might have to start looking at the pH every couple of days and correcting accordingly. So far, so good, leafs looking a little lime green, but it's been a long time since my last hydro grow, so I'll play it conservative and wait before I start increasing individual nutrients.

Explosive growth through the week, flipping to flower at the end of this week as plants have reached their 2foot marker. 2 foot tall is my limit for vegetive growth as the plants become unmanageable beyond that.

May 31st Everything is looking good after the LST from last week, I said I was going to swap them into flower and I realized that I should wait another week or so as they will be going into a new home so to speak. Updates coming next week for that. Doesn't look like to many PH issues anymore or whatever was happening but the plants seem a bit happier now June 1st I Figured today would be a good day to do a bit of defoliation on these girls in order to get some more light down to the newer growth. I didn't take a ton off as you can see, but for the size of the plant I suppose it was a decent amount. I read somewhere that a general rule of thumb is only defoliate roughly 30% of the plant at most. I'm not to sure if it is true but I tried to stay within that general rule. June 2nd, I decided since I would have them in veg for at least a little while long I would top them again. After topping I gave them some water and nutrients. I know I said I would do straight water for the next one but I went for it anyways as it seems the flowering mixture may be giving it some deficiency's. So I gave them the recommended feeding for heavy veg growth. I gave about 3L to the bigger plant and around 2L to the smaller plant (as it was still a bit moist but it wasn't damp). My crappy soil tester was saying my soil was at around 8PH so I figured I would aim to feed around 6ph. With the small amount of runoff from the smaller plant I did A PH test and the PH seemed to be around the 4.5-5ph area. My liquid ph meter arrived broken so I am waiting for the new one, therefore I am using the general hydroponics liquid test kit. I presume my soil ph is lower then the water I have given seeing as it went from 6ph water to around 4.5. Next feeding I will aim to feed at 7PH. With the defoliation I just made sure that the tie downs were decently tight still and moved what I thought needed to be moved. June 3rd,4th Not a ton to update on. I didn't get any pictures for these 2 days. June 5th Some obvious problems going on with the bigger plant. I am guessing it is the PH issue but I am still unsure. The one browned leaf I accidentally squished in the tie down while I was low stress training it so it got a bit damaged. Other then that the plants are growing decent. Im not sure why I didn't have more pictures for today but I mainly took problems of the problem areas. June 6th Not much going on still. They are still just hanging out not doing to much. It was a busy work week so pictures in general were a bit lazy. I will try to get more for the upcoming weeks. Big news for next week!
