Heeey! 👋 Another update! :D This week I made another transplant, this time from the drink cups to a small 3.5 liter pot and I also applied some more mycorrhizas to my babies! 😃 From both of them Pistachio seems to be the one who's developing faster and Matcha is trying to catch her sister. The plants ended with about 19500 lumens! Couldn't rise them more because of heat issues 😟 The only tricky part this week was when I decided to add a bit of growing nutrients to my plants so I ended up watering them a lot after the transplant and the results were quite shocking! I barely added 2ml of total nutrients per liter but the runoff water I got was around the 1400 ppm which all honestly scared me a lot! That's way too much for two young plants (and I believe some of the excess nutrients can be seen on Matcha) nonetheless they are still developing so I'll just continue with water for now till they start to lose color (the Light Mix I used should have enough 'food' for at least 2 weeks, so that's good I believe! Besides that everything went well. I'm using tap water for my humidifier and its sediments are being thrown into the air by it, but so far it seems my plants are doing well. During the last 4 days the plants developed a lot in their new pots so I'm quite happy for that! If things go well next week I'll be moving them to their final container! Thanks everyone for reading! 14/11/22 - Removed the small single cotyledons - lower right plant seems really short for some reason hoping she stretches by pre flower - 23C @ 60-65% humidity 17/11/22 - Very light defoliation, taking off tiny nodes and small 3 finger leaves - removed some massive fan leaves off the top 2 plants to allow light to lower nodes - lower right plant really seems to be slowing down growth and just not doing anything, really hope she stretches soon as 70% of the node sites are under developed and tucked under leaves 20/11/22 - lowered light to 22” from 25” - heavy defoliation as heads are very lightly turning yellow - LST clips to allow even light and airflow to all the sites - the lower right plant is very small and the branches of fan leaves are only growing to be about 1 inch long, no idea what’s going with it - grown 3 inches this week from 6.5” to 9.5” smallest right one is 7.5”

I've been a bit confused about the age of my clones but I reached out to suppliers and got more details. Clones were cut on September 20, I transplanted on October 25 when I received. I'm thinking I should flip to flower end of November. Lots of bud sites after lst and bushy.. a bit short in my eyes but I know will stretch once in florer

Scratch what I said at the end of last week pests are still around just had some bug fly at me and bite/sting me on the neck now a got a welt on my neck smh, not sure what the heck it was it was some sort of black bug maybe a thrip but I honestly have no idea, did another neem oil drench on the medium only and tomorrow I'm going to use a hydrogen peroxide mixture again that way I can also use it on the tops and undersides of the leaves as well. Some of the roots started to become exposed on the top soil so I added more an inch or two coco to cover the exposed roots. Another successful week I guess the plants aren't dead so onto week 9, Week 4 of flower

Not much going on yet. Added some 3d printed supports to make sure they don't start flopping over. Not sure if it's the strain, or my idiocy, but these bastards are soooo leggy. Grr. Watering daily to 15% runoff with MegaCrop 2 part in RO at 0.6EC and 5.6pH. Found Mega Crop gives very stable pH on the right range without any pH up or down needed. Took one day off (3/18) watering to water with Silica Boost at 6ml/gal concentration pHed to 5.4. PPFD 300 at canopy for DLI of 20. PPFD was about 20 for first week while I was prepping and sanitizing the grow room, which might explain the leggyness. If they don't look better after topping, I might pull them and try a different strain. 3/20 - this grow is inspired by the techniques of Bruce Bugbee (PPFD, nutrition, EC monitoring, substrate, environment, etc) and the concept of VPD control, both of which served me very well in the past. The grow room has dual PID controls in my PLC regulating the temperature and humidity to lock in the VPD based on plant age. In later veg and flower, I had CO2 injection on a PID, but that ultimately failed because I couldn't get the humidity down as it got huge. Had too many vent cycles. This year, hope to source or kludge an in-line dehumidifier so I can keep the sealed chamber where it needs to be without wasting CO2. 3/22 no more vertical growth, thank god, leaves and roots are slowly catching up. Patience. EC to 0.7

This week battling a bit with the wind in the growtent (you can see in the video i included), had few leaves with windburn but now all are looking fine. Continued LST to create an even canopy. Also think i should have removed the duct tape i used to repair the broken stem should have been removed earlier (it was on there for 10 days) as i saw afterwards (see in the pictures of broken stem repair) that the area of the stem where the duct tape was stayed fairly thin.

Es ist verdammt wichtig das nach jedem Durchgang sauber gemacht wird also zb Zeltwände, Boden, Topfe, Boxen, Wasserbehälter. Habe ich gemacht und habe meine ersten Samen in Anzucht Erde gesetzt, befeuchtet, markieren und in die Box. Wände und Deckel mit zersteuber befeuchten und ab unter die Lampe. WICHTIG MACH DIE ERDE NICHT SO NASS ! DAS GEFÄLLT IHNEN NICHT SONDERN HALTE SIE AM BESTEN FEUCHT IN DEM DU ABEND / MORGEN EIN BISCHEN WÄSSERST! ICH STELLE DIE LAMPE AUF CA 40 cm zum Boden ein bzw der Box. Ein gewisser abstand muss sein um die Fläche komplett zu Beleuchten. Da meine Lampe dimmbar ist muss sie nicht ganz oben hängeng sondern Kann näher an die Pflanzen ran und Stelle den Dimmer auf 20 %. Das reicht anfangs in dem Stadium völlig aus, muss aber dann später angepasst bzw hoch geschraubt werden! Lüfter I läuft 24/7 und sorgt für optimale Bedinungen!
