All going good for my first grow. Not entirely sure how long left, maybe a week or 2?

This strain Sunset-Sherbet was apart from my first ever indoor cupboard grow. Growing this strain was really fun and also quite easy. This strain has bright green leaves and grows nice developed thick stem throughout as well. The problem I faced with growing these two beautiful ladies is that they both have snapped, here are the notes on that day. 1 October 2020 (Week 6) She snapped… 🤦‍♀️🏼 The morning I was trying to tie down the main cola to the pot and what happened is, the previous time I stress trained the main stem was a while ago and the grew tight against the rope and that caused it to become a weak pot of the stem. So as I was busy tying the top cola there where the previous stress was, it broke. It was a pretty clean snap but some of the branch is still hold on, with this I simply taped it together and used rope to knot it tight, I also used a stick to use and tie the branch and stick together for support. What I noticed what was quite interesting when I taped branch back, the side of the branch that didn’t break off completely was still providing growth to the leaves while the other side started getting weak and flimsy. I never would’ve guessed it would still be able to provide growth and still heal the snapped off part.

Welcome to week six! 🌱 Week five was a complete success – all parameters are perfectly aligned. I’ve increased the water conductivity to a solid 3000 and bumped the CO2 level up to 1200 🌿. Light intensity is now set at 1400 µmol in the center and 1000 at the edges, which will keep the plants strong in their generative state 🌞. I’ll maintain these levels until the end of the third week and then start slowly removing the large fan leaves to ensure the buds get plenty of light 💡✨. I’m also trying something new to activate the “Emerson effect” 🌄: I’m running the deep red lights for 5 minutes before sunset and for another 5 minutes after the day ends. This should give the plants a final boost in photosynthesis, helping to maximize their growth potential! Everything’s looking fantastic so far! The Black Cherry has rooted well across different experimental setups, and at the end of the grow, I’ll provide a full report on the best care techniques for both strains 🌺👌. Zusätzlich probiere ich etwas Neues aus, um den „Emerson-Effekt“ zu aktivieren 🌄: Ich lasse das tiefrote Licht 5 Minuten vor Sonnenuntergang und 5 Minuten nach dem Ende des Tages weiterlaufen. Das sollte der Photosynthese einen letzten Schub geben und das Wachstum der Pflanzen maximal fördern! Bis jetzt sieht alles fantastisch aus! Die Black Cherry ist in verschiedenen Versuchsreihen gut angewachsen, und am Ende des Grows werde ich einen ausführlichen Bericht darüber abgeben, wie sich die beiden Sorten am besten pflegen lassen 🌺👌.

Sour Hound grew a bunch this week. I did overdose her with Recharge yesterday. I think that helped. I'll be OD'ing her again. I forgot to check PPM after the Recharge OD, I'll try to remember next time. 😀

Day 43: I pulled the LED to the most possible height and she keeps stretching, thus I had to bend the main branch with LST clips to keep some distance to the LED to avoid light stress. Day 44: Today was cleaning day of the reservoir and a new set of nutrients are applied. I'm quite curious how they support her. I also removed some foliage. Day 45: I noticed some tip burn at the leafs of the main bud. So I checked the PH in the reservoir and noticed, that it is off and adjusted it. I hope this supports her. Also, it might be a bit of light stress, as she is pretty close to the light (~ 25 cm). Nothing else to do today. Day 46: I refilled the reservoir today. As I noticed, that the PH was off the last time, I lower now the PH from 6.4 to 5.6. This should also support her to consume the nutrients, as I use 50% coco. Day 47: Nothing to do, today. Day 48: I removed some fan leafs. Day 49: Last day of the week. She is really thirsty now. I decided to lower the humidity to 65% to get a VPD of around 1 kPa. Hello Growmies, We're in the third week of vegetative growth with our Epic Buzz plants by Anesia, and they are a sight to behold with their rich green leaves signaling strong health. The growth has been consistent, with new leaves unfurling and the central stem gaining girth, ready to support future flowering. The root development, while not visible, is indicated by the stable and healthy growth above ground. Our watering schedule is on point, with the roots expected to be expanding in kind to support the lush foliage. Feeding these plants has been a regimented process. We've been nurturing them with a mix of Orca, Rhizotonic, and pH-ed water, providing 100 ml of this concoction every three days. The plants are responding well, showing no signs of nutrient burn or deficiency, which is exactly what we want to see at this stage. There have been no issues with pests or environmental stressors, which is a testament to the vigilant care they've been receiving. As we keep our environment stable, we'll continue to see such positive trends in their growth. Looking ahead to the fourth week, we'll keep a close eye on how the plants are reacting to their nutrients. Adjustments will be made if necessary, and we may start to think about training techniques to help them grow wide and ready for a bountiful flowering period. Week 5

Do-Si-Dos Auto is entering her final phase of flower with full-on fade, swelling buds, and thick trichome coverage setting in. This week she showed steady maturity across all sites — pistils began curling in and changing color, but many are still white and active, especially on the lower buds. I gave her a Cal-Mag watering early in the week and have since transitioned to mostly plain RO water as she finishes up. Temperatures climbed to 86°F indoors with 45% humidity, which may have pushed her a bit — I noticed some light upper-leaf clawing from heat stress midweek, but nothing major. The fade is progressing beautifully with purples and yellows coming in across the larger fans. Trichome checks showed mostly clear heads with a few starting to go cloudy — still no amber yet. She’s not ready to harvest, but she’s getting close. Buds continue to stack, and I’ll be checking trichomes daily moving forward to time the final flush and chop.
