With my upcoming vacation, I am going to be hardening off these ladies to relocate to their outside location. I checked the expected weather forecast for the week. Looks good to start hardening off. Partly cloudy with temps in the low to mid 80s just like in their tent. So that’s good. Night temperatures were in the 50-60s. This is much cooler than what they are used to as our house is at 73. They need to get used to what mother nature will provide. Our summers are hot and humid. I had planned to bring the plants back in the sunroom but since conditions were similar, I let them stay outside every night. And every night but 2 it rained. I did not water or feed nutrients this week. I am attempting the scrog technique on all plants. I am using a peony cage as the support structure. The cages are about 2 feet high. This may not be enough side or top support as she grows and may have to resort to tomato cages. Took pics May 6, 9, & 11 Fractal is a vigorous gal and gets very bushy after defoliation & training. Divine Seeds recommends keeping its Fractal profile wider and flatter. To achieve this, I am aggressively pinning down each branch coming off the main stalk while defoliating regularly to keep the top open. Today she has a beautiful, mounded canopy showing multiple bud sites. Her nodes are close but starting to spread out a bit. They remain even and balanced. Okay growmies here we are at the end of our GELATO AUTO 🍧 by FAST BUDS. It was such a pleasure to grow, i learned so so so much this run that will help me through the rest of my adventures. The beginning was tough as i am new i over watered and did not ph the water and what i mistake. But its okay i learned. She bounced back like nothing and produced these HUGE, FROSTY, DENSE BUDS! I remember the panic i had week 2-3 and wanted to scrap all of this and start over.... thank the weed gods i didnt because look at this masterpiece. Happy 2 Months To These Lovely Ladies. I Will Be Harvesting The Purple Purple On Friday, I Wanted To Harvest It Today But The Soil Is Not Fully Dry Out And I Don’️t Want To Harvest It When The Soil Is Still Wet. I Bought A Pocket Microscope To Check The Trichomes And Although There Are Only Literally Only 1 Or 2 Amber Trichomes On The Purple Power Some Of The Upper Buds Are Showing Signs Of Overripe By Getting Dry & Crispy And Stretching Apart. I Will Be Taking Off Most Of The Fan Leaves On The Girls Scout Cookies (5gal) And The Gorilla Glue For Better Light Penetration. I beleive the temp of the solution is to warm for the pH perfect to work. I've also read this so will keep an eye on that over the next couple of days. Managed to snap a big bud so it's currently got tape round it 🙄 These are very heavy dense buds but certainly half an effort and could potentially do alot better. Day 20 - she got 16oz of water pH balanced to 6.0~ on Day 16, Day 18, and Day 20. I topped the plant and then defoliated to leave the 3rd and 4th nodes. The 3rd node is being trained to grow laterally until it reaches the container walls. Once the 4th node matures more, it will also be trained just as node 3. The goal is to train and top one more time in veg to ensure maximum yields in this small 2x2x4 tent.

11/17 started the flush until harvest, plain well water with ph between 7.3 to 7.6. Half gallon a day This plant is medium size for the 6 in the tent. Buds are large and dense, gorilla is a great genetic for yield, i expect a surprise on yield given what I can see.

we continue the run with the slowing down of the stretch and the beginning of the beautiful flowers. This week my EC indicated me some things... It was at 1.8 and went up to 1.9, so I added water to lower the ec to 1.6. When my ec goes back up it tells me that I have enough nutrients in my solution. Now, the ph is back to 1.7, I will add more water to bring it down to 1.5. We can observe on some leaf tips a beginning of over-fattening, this is what I'm talking about above, I'll let you know next week if I lower the ec or if I keep 1.5. I did one last defoliation and it was needed! If you look at my vitals, it's not crazy, 70% humidity at this time of the year can become problematic, so I'm going to take the dehumidifier out and set myself at 55%.
