6th week of veg. Is finally in the books and all systems are go for the flower show. As they’re revegged clones, their branching structure is just ridiculous. Sucker branches everywhere pulling nutrient flow away from the winners. Right before we flipped and as per videos - we gutted every single plant and crushed it down to no more than about 7 tops max per plant. The whole goal is only to flower select, top shelf bud with every opportunity (and space) to grow to its fullest potential. So far, Druid nutrients has fit the bill for every one of em and they’re all extremely happy on this system👍. We also couldn’t resist and snipped another run of clones off each one but the Skywalker. Not sure if the boogie nights or blueberrys will make it but u never really know do you🤷. That said, the diy aerocloner has been a beast for us and minus an aphid issue last round - she puts out a 100% success rate😉. We’ll use the best of these as complimentary to reg. Run of some spicy bitch we’ve got coming up. Even if the pollen chuck is a failure - we won’t be losing any of the elite white widow or blueberry genetics🤞🤞🤞🤞. 8/14/2024 Topped plant A due to the node spacing and side branching. Hopefully, this will cause this pheno to bush out a bit more. Intentionally FIMed plant B due to the short internodal spacing and difficulties getting a clean cut for a topping. This plant is already quite bushy and condensed - hoping that it will respond nicely to FIM. Water was not changed over entirely, only added one fresh gallon of nutrient water with additional nutrients added to step up entire system to close to 575-600ppm. Both plants are looking great, root zone needs some improvement with water temperatures. I have ordered a larger water cooler and hope that will help reduce the water temperature inside the tent. Although water temps are a bit high in the buckets, the roots are flourishing and are pearly white! 8/16/2024 Noticed Plant A is showing signs of potassium issues. Added one fresh gallon of non-nutrified water as I was unable to complete a water change. 8/17/2024 Pumped out 5 gallons of nutrient water and refreshed with 5 new gallons. Both plants look to be responding well to the water change. The resulting PPM was 650 after allowing time for the system to reach equilibrium. Extra insulation on the buckets is helping to maintain lower water temperatures throughout the day with lights on in the tent. The environment is pretty well dialed in at an average 1.2-1.6 VPD. 8/19/2024 Replaced water cooler with one that is twice the size and rated for 15-gallon systems. Running reservoir temp target at 18.5 C. Conducted some minor LST on the bushy plant (Plant B) to get the middle opened up a bit more. Did some leaf tucking on plant A to get the lower branches some more direct light. 8/20/2024 Both plants are looking phenomenal. There is a very slight cannabis smell in the tent at all times.

Had too much nitrogen last week, so I lowered the amount of FloraMicro. What's your thought on my first grow? Trying to learn as much as possible!

Haven't done much this week. The slow release nutrients are doing their thing. Basically watering when needed and removing the odd unwanted leave. At the end of the week I will give them their last feeding before I harvest.

I love the sativa shaped nug-towers! When my plants grow big, I like to grow them until the very end of their cycle! That's why the extended flower period. Week 02 Introduction This week has been a bit of a struggle. Had my first experience dealing with slime and brown algae. But I think adding enzymes and increasing the beneficial bacteria helped to fix the issue. Also experienced nutrient burn for the first time. My nutrient solution strength got as high as 671 PPMs. So backed it down to about 430 PPMs during the end-of-week reservoir change. Also cut Hydroguard (expired?), CaliMagic, and Superthrive from this grow. Now she's still stunted, but is starting to recover. Hopefully... [START OF WEEK 02] Day 01 - Monday - 08/10/20 - Total Days: 008 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Still looks a bit yellow. But getting larger! --- Solution strength was at 248 PPMs. --- Just topped off with a bit of distilled water --- PH went up to 6.1 so PH'd down to 5.8 --- Ran the top feed for a bit to wet the hydroton. - [2130]: She's looking even more yellow now. --- Even the new leaves are really yellow. --- Decided to add more base nutes. --- Added 4ml of Sensi A --- Added 4ml of Sensi B --- Now at about --- Solution Strength went up to 304 PPM. --- PH was at 6, --- Also raised the water level a bit more. --- I really hope it's a nutrient deficiency and not an over-watering issue. --- Please live! But still yellow. --- Also can see a root growing through the net pot! Tiny little thing but it's there! Will have to start dropping water once more appear. --- After looking over a few DWC diaries using AN nutes, seems like my solution strength is still too low. Not sure if I should adjust PH using AN nutes. So going to not ajdust unless PH goes above 6.1. Day 03 - Wednesday - 08/12/20 - Total Days: 010 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Looks like more root growth! --- She still looks yellow. But leaves are perky. --- PH was at 6.2 so lowered down to 5.8. --- Solution strength was at 394 PPMs --- Since roots are still growing, I decide to lower the water level a bit. Now water level is a bit below the net pot. - [2200]: Root is getting longer! --- Slime is returning. Not sure why. --- Solution strength: 357 PPMs --- PH: 6.1 --- Decided to add an enzyme along with more beneficial bacteria to hopefully cure the slime. --- Added 16ml of Sensizym --- Added 5ml of Hydroguard --- Added 8ml of Voodoo Juice --- New solution strength: 430 PPMs --- New PH: 6.1 --- Top fed for a minute. --- This slimy residue is really freaking me out! I hope the added enzymes will help eliminate the slime. --- Going to do a full reservoir sterilization/nutrient change over the weekend. Please survive until then girl! Day 04 - Thursday - 08/13/20 - Total Days: 011 ----------------------------------- - [0930]: I think the enzymes worked! There is little to no slime now! --- Although I think the root was also dissolved in the process. It's now just a little stub sticking just below the net pot. The enzyme is also suppose to dissolved dead roots too but guess that root was too weak? Not sure what happened there. But I think the slime is cured! --- Solution strength went down to 395 PPMs. Decided to add more base nutrients. --- Added 8ml of Sensi A --- Added 8ml of Sensi B --- Added 4ml of B-52 --- Solution strength went up to 598 PPMs. --- PH was at 6.1 --- As long as the PH is between 5.5 and 6.3, I'm not going to use PH Up or Down. But still will monitor PH levels. - [1715]: Checked up on her after her nap and shes looking alive but stunted. But no slime! --- Decided to add some sugars to help maintain the enzymes and beneficial bacteria. --- Solution strength was at 587 PPMs. --- PH was at 6.2 --- Added 8ml of Bud Candy --- Solution strength went up to 671 PPMs. --- PH also went up to 6.3 --- Lowered water level a bit to hopefully promote more root growth. --- Top fed for a minute. --- She is getting bigger, but still looks yellow. Day 05 - Friday - 08/14/20 - Total Days: 012 ----------------------------------- - [0915]: Leaves look a little burnt on the tips. Still no slime. --- Going to back off on the PPMs to hopefully fix the nutrient toxicity. --- Solution strength was at 632 PPMs --- PH was at 6.3 --- Added/Removed water until PPMs were at 536. --- PH was still at 6.3 --- Raised water up a bit, then top fed for a minute. - [2200]: Looking better. Still yellow though. --- Solution strength: 514 PPMs --- PH: 6.5 --- Added PH down. --- New solution strength: 518 PPMs --- New PH: 5.2 --- PH was kind of high. So decided to PH down. Had to use quite a bit to bring it down. But eventually got it to drop down to 5.3. A little low, but so far, the PH has always gone up so wanted to start it really low. --- Ran the top feed for a minute to re-saturate the top of the hydroton. Day 06 - Saturday - 08/15/20 - Total Days: 013 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: She looks stunted. leaves are still yellow. --- Solution strength: 514 PPMs --- PH: 5.6 --- Top fed for a minute. --- Not sure what to do at this point. Going to do another reservoir change soon. Hoping she lives until then. - [2145]: Looking pretty much the same. --- A bit of slime has returned. Since I've been diluting the nutrient solution, the enzyme ratio has dropped. So I guess this is expected. --- Also noticed that slime build up was on the air-stones. Never really checked the stones so not sure how long that has been there. Looks brown too, which can't be good. --- Going to do an H202 sterilization of the system (minus the net pot) tomorrow so did not add anything. --- Lowered the water level to below the net pot. --- Then top fed for a minute. Day 07 - Sunday - 08/16/20 - Total Days: 014 ----------------------------------- - [0900]: STERILIZATION DAY! --- Decided to skip today's night cycle for a deep clean. --- I'm hoping that skipping a night cycle won't be too stressful. --- Temporarily moved her to a new bucket. --- Used about a half of gallon of straight distilled water to flush out the net pot. --- Drained the system and wiped up all the brown sludge. Also removed the air stones and cleaned up all the goo. --- Filled the system with 2 gallons of distilled water and at least 30ml of food grade hydrogen peroxide (35% strength). --- Yea its a lot, but since I'm not going to sterilize the system overnight, I went with a really high doseage. Basically I kept adding until I started to see little bubbles start to form. --- Then I ran the water pump. - [0915]: Boiled the air stones in tap water for about 10 min. Then reconnected them to the airlines. --- I let the air stones and hose soak in the sterilization solution for about 5 minutes so the peroxide can absorb into the stones. Then ran the air stone to help mix and agitate the solution. --- Occasionally, I'd repeat the process of turning the air pump off for a few minutes to let the stones soak. - [1000]: Covered the top two row of holes of the net pot with some aluminum tape. Hopefully this solves the light leaking in through the hydroton. - [1200]: Used an old toothbrush and scrubbed the pump clean. Then drained the system. --- Refilled with more distilled water and peroxide. Again added a lot. --- Ran system again to sterilize even more. - [1530]: Drained the system and refilled with distilled water to rinse. --- Ran the system for a few minutes, then drained and rinsed again. --- Did this a few more times over about an hour. - [1630]: Added 4 gallons of fresh distilled water. --- Added 15ml Sensi Grow A --- Added 15ml Sensi Grow B --- Added 12ml of B-52 --- Added 16ml of Voodoo Juice --- Added 16ml Sensizym --- Solution strength was at 430 PPMs --- PH was at 5.6 --- I was going to add Hydroguard, but I think the bottle is expired. Since 2017 or 2018!? I think Hydroguard is good for up to 2 years from the date on the bottle or 6 months after opening. So not going to use from now on. I wonder if this could have contributed to the slime build up. --- Also removed the CaliMagic and Superthrive too. Going to only use AN products to eliminate the chance of incompatible nutrients. --- Placed her back in the bucket and top fed for a minute. --- Here's hoping for the best. Beautifull growth with low nutrients so kow they got transplanted they will go full veg

Beginning of week 9: Tropicana is 27 cm high and the stem is 38 cm long. Sun is back, rain stopped, happy growing. Day 57 🌤️⛅️🌤️🌤️ 10-23 degrees, humidity is between 70 and 80%. Today I checked the PH of my collected rainwater, of the drainage, of my field horsetail tee / manure. With the soil everything is ok I think. PH of the drainage is 5,9. I was very surprised about the high PH of my homemade fertilizer. Today I took some macro fotos with my new magnifying glasses. I saw the first purple leafs and trichomes everywhere. They are all clear I think. It‘s my first time growing a cannabis plant and I love it!😻 Day 58 🌤️🌥️☁️☁️ 13-23 degrees, humidity between 60 and 95%. Tropicana feels better now with more light. It‘s much brighter during the days but today again cloudy. In my eyes Tropicana looks happy and she is so beautiful. I want to bite in one of those buds, but I will not do yet. Maybe I will take some of the less lighted buds, harvest for tee with cream. I like to vape my cannabis and cook or bake with resin and butter. So I plan to let Tropicana take all the time she needs to produce enough amber medicine. Day 59 🌤️☀️🌤️⛅️ 12-24 degrees, humidity 65-80% The smell is incredible. I really like it. Day 60 🌤️⛅️🌤️🌥️ 11-25 degrees, humidity 62-78%. This morning Tropicana got a bio banana shake which I prepared yesterday evening. I chopped three banana peels and boiled them in one liter of water for short. After I blended them together wit the water and let it stand overnight. Then I sifted the fertilizer in the early morning and gave Tropicana her breakfast: 700ml rainwater and 70ml of my banana fertilizer. The drainage had a PH of 6 On nearly all flowers it‘s possible to find purple colors. The pistils started to change the colors. Our balcony is in the first floor and today it was possible to smell Tropicana down on the street next to the house. 🤭 Day 61 🌤️☀️☀️☀️ 11-26 degrees, humidity 55-75%. Today it was very obvious that Tropicana started fatten up the buds to mature: Different colors, very strong smell, pistils are getting orange. I spotted the first amber trichomes. I could have a nice and potent June harvest but I think it will finish in the first week of July. Day 62 🌤️⛅️🌤️⛅️ 13-21 degrees, humidity is 50-60%. Tropicana enjoys the morning sun while I drink a fresh hemp leaf tee and reflect the last two month of my legal balcony grow. I watered with 700ml pure rainwater. The run off PH ist around 6,3. So I‘m quit sure that the reason for the increase in PH was the watering with the field horsetail manure, which has got a high PH something like more then 7. Day 63 ☀️☀️☀️☀️ 13-20 degrees and the humidity is between 66 and 85 % Beautiful monday morning. Tropicana asked for a banana smoothie, today 1:20 mixed with 700 ml. pure rainwater. She likes to drink it slowly, so I don‘t water all in one anymore. First maybe 20%, 10 minutes later 30% and after half an hour 50%. If I watered all in one, 100 ml of 700 ml run off. If I water step by step, all of the water stays in the pot. After 24 h the pot is much lighter and I need to water again. She is very thirsty in these days.

d33 Hoy subo fotos unos días antes de esta semana, mejor, tendremos más fotos. Hoy me he puesto a revisar un poco las plantas y me he dado cuenta de que las Lemon Krystal son hermafroditas, la que estaba en la parte de dentro, solo tiene unos pocos sacos de polen que todavía no están maduros, se los he arrancado y cortado 2 ramas que tenían mala pinta con eso, el resto de ramas parece estar bastante bien y son flores macho, la Lemon Krystal que esta mas cerca de la puerta del armario, esta bastante mal y la tendré que desechar ya que no quiero que polinice al resto de plantas. También una Kandy Kush, la de la derecha, le he quitado 2 flores macho, no parecía tener más, unas flores espontáneas, pero semillas a granel a veces pueden pasar estas cosas, no es lo normal, pero parece que la cepa de Lemon Krystal esta un poco jodida... Para añadir, la LK que parece que podremos sacar adelante(pero bajo supervisión) tiene una rama que tiene 4 cogollos en vez de 2, mola, pero si no se pone a sacar flores macho, la podremos continuar haciendo seguimiento. Tenemos un cogollo de la Kandy Kush(planta del centro) que es doble. Puede ser que tengamos algo polinizado en el Indoor, pero pues es algo que ha pasado, espero no tener muchas semillas mermara la calidad... d35 Unas fotitos rapidas... The start of cultivation was not at all favorable at temperatures below 10 degrees then came a storm that caused cracks and tears in the leaves ... The leaves were very dirty from clay and perlite, so I tried to wash them all with a paper tissue. The weather was not at all kind, so I added Advanced Nutrients- B52 vitamins and Rhino Skin to strengthen the stem and leaf I often meet different animals on my way through the forest, today I met a newly born young fallow deer

09/17: Well i am feeling defeated at the moment. I broke of a couple of branches on PL1 when attempting to train when i should not have been. Im feeling like a rookie at the moment. She was too full of water to be training her so aggressively. I have tried to tape back one of the broken branches, and so we will see if she recovers. Ive done this before and taping it back ended up working, but I am not optimistic this time. To make things worse, i used perlite that had “fertilizer” in it, did not realize it until it was too late, and they are dealing with a nitrogen overload. I should be hooking to water up already, but i want to let them dry out a bit so that i can properly finish off some of the training. Will do that and then hook up the water tomorrow or Thursday.

La calabaza y la zanahoria contienen multitud de minerales y vitaminas que ayudan a fortalecer el cultivo y ayudan a la expansión de las raíces. Este preparado es comparable, funcionalmente, con los extractos de algas, aunque mucho más completo. Esta hortaliza es rica en antioxidantes. Destaca su contenido en carotenos, que son los responsables del color característico de la calabaza. ¿Será que esto puede influir en los colores de las cepas?... en observación!! Gracias a la fermentación anaeróbica con Microorganismos de Montaña, los nutrientes, vitaminas y minerales son quelados por la acción de los MM, consiguiendo así un caldo nutritivo de primer orden que las plantas asimilan de inmediato. INGREDIENTES fórmula básica: Agua de manantial alcalino: 2,5L Suero de leche: 1L Microorganismos de Montaña Sólidos (varias cepas): 400g Melaza orgánica: 120g. Levadura de cerveza y fresca: 10g. Calabaza y zanahoria fresca: 475g. Cáscara de camarón deshidratado y molido (Quitosano): 6.5g • Extra Minerales: 10g de Roca fosfórica: P 7g de Azomite: Ca, Fu, Fe, K, Si, B y trazas de el resto de minerales de la tabla periódica. 8g de Ceniza de palmera: Ca y K. 5g de Piedra Pómez: Si, Al, Fe, Ca, K. 8g de caolin con Illita: Fe, Si. 5g de Sal de Epsom: Mg. • Elementos contenidos en la calabaza y zanahoria: Aminoácidos: alanina, arginina, cucurbitina, cistina, glicina, histidina, isoleucina, lisina. Azúcares: sacarosa PROCEDIMIENTO En este bio preparado he hecho una pre-hidrólisis de la calabaza y zanahoria, cociéndolas durante una hora con melaza para mejorar luego, en la fermentación, la disolución de todos sus elementos. También he hecho una pre-hidrólisis con la cáscara de camarón, esta vez he hecho una hidrólisis alcalina con KOH, que luego de dos horas añado a la mezcla final, además he diluido, todo lo posible, los minerales mediante una agitación violenta.. Disuelvo todos los elementos y añado levadura de cerveza y fresca para dar comienzo a la fermentación. Coloco en una bolsa de malla los Microorganismos de Montaña Sólidos de mis dos semilleros, donde reúno los Microorganismos (Bacterias de la familia de los Actinomicetos, Levaduras y Hongos (Micorrizas), Microalgas y Protozoarios) de seis bosques vírgenes de mi zona. Cierro el bidón herméticamente con válvula de escape de gases, como estamos en Enero y hace frío he puesto una cinta de calor alrededor del bidón para mantener una temperatura constante de aproximadamente 36°C, de esta manera el preparado puede estar listo en tan sólo 30 días, si fuera el caso de dejarlo a temperatura ambiente el preparado demoraría 2 meses más en estar disponible para uso. La fermentación comenzó a los 60 minutos y se ha alargado durante 25 días sin interrupción. He abierto el bidón a los 45 días, el olor ha fermentado es muy agradable, el color fantástico, algunos Microorganismos se ven prosperando en la superficie, separo medio litro para ir usándolo y cierro el bidón otra vez. Tengo varios cultivos incipientes donde voy a aplicar este fertilizante y observar sus efectos. Hasta la próxima semana... Well the genetics from this line still continue to impress me they are quick germinating seeds and have a fast growth rate once in the ground . I wanted to try these strains for a while and was hoping this would be a great to smoke . I'm not disappointed at all it's got great terps and Dense buds with sticky trichomes . The plant grew like an indica in fan leaf shape but had long colas almost like a sativa .. The grow was organic for the most part and gave me the chance to try a legendary strain . She had a great outdoors presence its a gorgeous flower to run outdoors had no issues with the bud rot and pm was almost never there .. That being said better training with a more steady feeding. Line up would have gotten me a better harvests but for now I'm happy with it .. next year I will do a few more strains I got left ( stinkin bishop )
