Week 6 of flower and now I have ugly plants wtf??!!! Calcium deficiency?!!!

Grown outdoors no nutrients just tap water (about 1Gal/day) on the days with no rain... usually around noon when I can see them sag and the weather forecast doesn't predict rain for the rest of the day. I add Terpinator (30mL/Gal) when I water manually. 2020 was an exceptionally warm summer in Quebec. Seeded on May 20th Sprouted on May 23rd Kept in nursery (watered with tap water + B1 vitamin (3ml/L) until Transplanted outside June 16th No Technique applied, she grows as she feels the needs.

Week 5 has been a breeze! Going into week 6 we are seeing a lot of great things. The buds are starting to get nice and tight and thick which is so awesome! Every is SUPER sticky thanks to the Bud Factor X. Watering has stayed the same generally. Definitely need to work on our trimming for next flower as there is a lot of lower spots that are super small and not getting much love. We are still learning though! Going into week 6 we will have to create some structures for a few of these branches. The buds are gaining weight and a few branches are becoming a little top heavy.

2018-03-20 Week 12 Day 1 New week and not much to say. No water or nutes today, just the regular weekly check to see that they look nice and healthy. Raised the lamp about 10 cm to make sure that the girls don't get burned again. They managed to breed a strain that was soon a popular choice in coffee shops of the Netherlands, most likely due to the soaring and intense Sativa high. We are at 21 days from these girls breaking the surface and they are making progress. This little slurricane 7 had a rough start but looks like shes pulling through. I noticed at the beginning of the week that they were a little overdosed on nitrogen so I added 2 gallons of tap water to the reservoir and adjusted the ph to 6. They are still looking a little heavy on N but their growth rate is going great so I think it should balance out by the end of next week. I dont plan on doing a water change until I flower them. I left the plants alone most of the week. Tied most of them down to spread them out and defoliated a few lower leaves on day 20. The branches on most of these plants are thick and solid already. They don't budge easily. Bananasicle is looking pretty funky with uneven branch and node growth but we are just going to push forward. Still pumping nutrients and beaming light 24 hours a day. I'm thinking day 28 we will switch them to flower and see if any of these ladies can bring some❄️🔥💨

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. And hello to you who read my diary, I just want to say that I am pleased that you have chosen to check in with me and in my diary. I do this for myself and for a steady flow of my medicine. Everything you read and see in my diary is 100% honest and I will never distort or beautify anything here. I document my crops so that I can learn from my mistakes and also to look back at those different crops. I try to update with pictures every day and with text if something special has happened in the garden. This is my strainhunt for the best medicine and the beginning of my journey with cannabis and the cultivation of it. This is my second feminised cultivation ever. First, I'm just going to say something about my grow room. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps for bloom. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. week 7 flowering. the smell is all over the house i hope to harvest next week. i think they both got another 2 weeks left, not much of yellowing in the leaves but they get more to the yellow side here and there. the branches need support, very dense and heavy buds. next week i will chek the trichomes and decide to go another week or cut them down. what are your toughts on harvest time by watchong these pictures/vid ?

Added Exhale c02 and top dressed in each pot with 1 tablespoon per gallon of growing medium my pots are 3.6. I added 3 tablespoons. It is my hopes that with adding the slow release dry amendments and once the c02 bag sarts growing my plants will finally grow. They are short but have 4 nodes at day 21. What is an exhale c02 bag? “The ExHale bag is a patented strain of mycelium that produces an abundance of CO2 without fruiting. This means that when our bag is activated, the mycelium grows, eating the substrate it comes with, giving off heaps of CO2 straight into your garden, and it does all this for 6 months - guaranteed!” At day 25 I am not impressed with the size of these girls? Hope they hit a growth spurt soon? Their internodes are stacked very nicely. At day 28 growth is very slow. Practically none existent since my top dressing at day 23. 2 plants have received a very minimal nutrient burn. As I do not have a soil ph tester? I will be watering with a ph of 6.0 rather than 6.5, hopefully that helps. ONWARD!

4/22/24 🍓z I was going to take her down after I trimmed off all of the excess leaves and gave her some of the leftover maximum strength food from a space panda in the next tent. She really started taking off again, so I’m gonna keep her going. I’m gonna keep them all going and doing just great really starting to put out a lot of resin. They smell fantastic. I’m having a lot of fun with them so I’m gonna keep them going. I could take them down right now they are ready, but I just wanna grow them a little more. 👍👍👍 4/23/24 Wow they are great. ZStraverriez...hard to type.... is READY! I took the leaves off a couple days ago to see if I would get any growth but nope. So I will use FloraKleen 10ml per gal and do a 2 or 3 gallon flush and put her back in for a day. I harvested the CBD. It smells like berries, just great just the right size in a 2 gallon pot with no training. I found a seed in the CBD, the others might be seeding as well......that is my oldest tent probably has pollen somewhere. Still everything is good, but im getting a new tent...I also just got a MarsHydro light for 100 it's the light bar one. 4/23/24 Apricot and straw. gorilla are growing good. Zstraberriez....which is a HUGE BITCH TO SPELL....but WOW smells like berries and vanilla and happiness. I let some dry for a few hours and put it in the Arizer X2 and she was great. These are so fast and the colors are beautiful too. It's like a perfect autumn day with all the leave changing color. Except my colors are way better and I can smoke them.... 4/24/24 🍓🍓🦍🍑👍💎💎💎 I am seeing lots of resin form. I thought they would be ready to go, but it looks like they just kind of took a little pause and I trimmed off the unnecessary and fading leaves and they got their second wind and now seeing a lot of resin production💎💎💎. they smell great. They look like they’re ready to keep going for another two weeks so I’m gonna do that and I’ll just harvest a little bit along the way I smoke some of all of them this morning and they’re just great. 👍👍👍 4/25/24 I ended up doing a little bit heavier, feeding than usual. I did about 2 mL of all the supplements and now I’m seeing lots of resin. I’m very careful all the other nutrients have burned my plants horribly but I’m very careful in general. Hydroponic seems to do a good job without burning. Fastbuds has a 25 pack of all their different strains mixed together for 100. I might do that. I’m kind of neurotic. I may need to know what I’m growing I think about this. I really like all of their plants they have a personality all of their own. I like Seedsman and the F1 it’s from Royal queen seeds. 4/25/24 🍑🍓🍓 marsHydro FC-E1500. I just got this delivered today. It cost 100. Although it is a powerful amazing light is no good for me at home. The TS-1000 lights you can move the driver outside the tent and then the top of the light has a little resting tray. This one is totally for commercial use, you cannot remove the driver and its pretty heavy, sold construction all the way, but in my small space I’m gonna have to wrap this up and put it away. It’s a 10 out of 10 it’s a beautiful light super bright. It’s everything you want in a grow light for a commercial space but it is way too hot for a small 24” x 24” tent that I grow in. I have 3 tents and can't run lights over 90Watts or the room gets too hot, and I can grow 3 or 4 perfectly with the TS-1000 set at about only 90 watts, its just perfect. This will get far too hot in the small tent, unless I want to set my air conditioner to 72 and get a massive electric bill! so I’m gonna stick with these TS-1000, the most perfect home light for grow tents I have ever used. I’ll give this light away someday but the Mars Hydro TS-1000 is still the absolute best light I’ve ever used. I have 4 of them now. 4/28 🍓🍓🍑👍💦💦💦💎💎💎 I can’t believe the amount of res in that they are all starting to put out. They are really getting their second wind. I am just having a lot of fun with them so I’m gonna keep them going as long, probably for a couple more weeks at least until they are no longer viable, but I should be able to keep them going pretty good for a while. 👍

Beginning of week 7 in flower, only two more weeks left if they ripen like they did last time. Plants are beginning to smell, develop triches and fattening up. They're not going to get any taller but compared to my first grow they're double in size. It's getting really intense. I'm in there every day checking humidity (on the no defol side) and I'm starting to struggle keeping up with the feed. During lights off I've found the plants eat the most food. I topped up the res, added 25% more PK. I try to keep the plants at 700 ppm and in the space of four hours it dropped to 600 ppm (towards the end of lights off). I stopped directly loading with Calcium Nitrate and instead used a regular calmag. I'm about to go overboard with Calcium Nitrate again and bump the ppm up to 1k. Will see how far the ppm drops the next day. 17/02/20 Update: The plants are beginning to smell a lot more, it has that kind of fermenting pungent smell from a red paw paw but applied to a mango. Very sweet, it literally smells like I'm growing some kind of tropical fruit. Still struggling with the feed, I added close to 40g of calcium nitrate and the plants still dropped the ppm lower than when I boosted it. I find it really frustrating that Dual Fuel only sell as a pair. Part 2 is amazing for late flower. Potassium sulphate and Magnesium sulphate, it's the perfect PK boost and I don't know anyone other nutrient like it. The other PK boosters always have too much P. 18/02/20 Update: Still battling my plants and the efforts to keep up with them is still frustrating me. Ran out of potassium Sulphate and bought Bio Diesel Rhino K 0-0-15 as a substitute, talk about expensive but I was desperate. 19/02/20 Update: Uploaded how I pump calcium into my plants this late into flower. They eat more than what I showed daily. That's 100+ ppm of Ca everyday! I don't know how much pectin this plant has now but the Brix would have to be through the roof compared to my first grow. 20/02/20 Update: finally got the feed right for a twelve hour period. I'm using two times the amount of K any bloom booster recommends and I'm probably using ten times the amount of calcium easily. I'm also going to feed as minimal N from now on, I'd cut it out completely if I could but I rely on Micros for the macro nutrients. Spent $65 on that bottle of potash and I used a third of a bottle for one nutrient change, think I'll stick to using powered water soluble potassium sulfate. My main concern is that I won't be providing enough iron with the little Micro I'm giving it. Going to throw a couple of rustry nails into the res. I'm about to do a top up...dropping the Micro super low, putting minimal part 2 in. Along with all the fulvics, humics, kelp and other acids my ppm only sits at 244. Which gives me plenty of room to load up on calcium. Top up the mag cause what was in the part 2 wasn't enough then load K. 21/02/20 Update: The plants finally stalled and took a breather yesterday. Didn't upload any photos cause it looked the same as the day before. By the end of the evening it looked like the explosive growth started back up again and the photos from today will show it. The ppm was creeping up not down this time...finally over feeding them. Dropped the extra loading of calcium and potassium to regular bloom phase levels and bumped the chelators up instead. Update 22/02/20: plants aren't eating what they were. Ppm is remaining stable at 800. I won't dilute the res just yet. Still holding off to see if it goes up again. If it goes down I'll refeed the same formula as last time that has reduced calcium and potassium.

Didn’t get too many pictures this time but they’re really starting to pack on resin now. They smell so good. Everything is going smoothly. Just gave them a flush with some SLF and Herculean Harvest. Runoff is already pretty significantly low. They’ll be getting the same flush again in a few days and then plain PH balanced water until they get chopped down. Planning on them fading super hard from this point on. All the buds are super dense. Can’t wait to try some sooner than later.
