Gave bloom mix of fertilizer. Starting to get chilly here so have to figure out the other extreme of the temperatures… bought a small heater and seeing if it will do. Just set lights to 12s. Countdown to signs of flower! And eyes out for any balls.

Week 3 into flower and it’s time to top dress and seabird tea. Using 3 gallon pots, top dress with 1/3 cup craft, 1/4 cup worm castings, 1/2 ocean forest, and small amount of kashi. Seabird tea: 4tbs seabird guano, recharge, and worm castings, Humic acid, and alfalfa meal in the tea bag. pH to around 6.6-6.8. Should give me around a 2.5-12.5-2.5 feed. As I used equal parts alfalfa to seabird. Probably a little more nitrogen bwith the worm castings. Brewed for 24 hours and fed straight, no water down. Just bought the mammoth lighting 6 bar LED, I got suckered into the green spectrum and the ability to penetrate the canopy using green light. Science backs it but science also backed Covid vaccines soooo I guess I’ll have to test it out myself. 😂 But so far enjoying my first grow back after a year off. Took a while to remember everything and dial everything back in. Only took me going to the dispensary for a year to remember it’s just way better to grow and press my own rosin instead of paying 50 for brown boo-boo or flower i can’t even smell before buying it. As a young lad I was in charge of a 30 light/ 600 plant grow house. This famous rap producer had a pool house in his back yard he turned into a grow house. I ended up being very successful there using their recipe and styles, Rockwell cubes 20-25 plants a light of some SFV og and synthetic nutients and eagle 20 for daysss. Was at about 2lbs a light. Eventually I moved on and this guys house was raided as he was sending drugs back east to gangs and money laundering. Major wake up call, as California finally started cracking down on all the growers stealing electricity. Never thought I’d be growing weed but when your best friends brother has a grow house and it’s trim season, all hands on deck so I got introduced to it then and because my attention to detail and passion to science they gave me a shot opporating a 600 plant facility. Also showed me the dark side of the business with pesticides and mold… and all the “growers” that have no sanitation techniques and wonder why they have to use eagle 20 and avid all run… if you have trust issues don’t go into the underground cannabis grows of the early 2010s. People be trying to sell powder mildew as frosty nugs. But fast forward a bunch of years I move to Washington and the cannibus industry is all sealed jars with labels. No smell test, no scales, no free dabs… it felt like gambling every time I gave them money for weed. Looks fire taste like dirt or looks fire taste fire cost 60 an eighth…. Not substainable for a daily stoner, so I got my first 2.7x2.7 grow tent and some soil and 100s of hours of YouTube videos to figure out how to grow roots and not plants. Growing in rockwool cubes is all about recipes and pH. Growing in soil is all about microorganisms, oxygen, and relationship building.

Day 72: The Finale 🌿🌟 It’s finally time. My very first grow is coming to an end—at least the cultivation phase. The plant is now ready for harvest, and I can’t believe how incredible this journey has been. I never expected to enjoy the whole process so much—from nurturing the plants to watching them grow and evolve. I’m absolutely hooked and can’t wait to dive into the next steps: harvesting, drying, curing, and of course, starting a new grow soon with fresh ideas and experiments! While it may not be the largest yield, the quality of the buds speaks for itself. The time, love, and care I’ve put into this grow is visible, and I’m pretty proud of the results. I’ll admit, I was a bit impatient at times (which I think every first-timer can relate to 😅), but the experience was priceless. Here are a few interesting highlights from my trimming and harvest process: 1️⃣ Dark Phase Before Harvest Two days before harvest, I put the plant in complete darkness to encourage resin production. I'm not sure if it really made a difference, but it was worth trying! 2️⃣ Wet Trim vs. Dry Trim I decided to go for a wet trim because the buds were really dense, and I wanted to avoid any risk of mold. I’ve read that wet trimming can speed up drying and may slightly impact the quality, but this is part of the learning experience. Next time, I’ll try a dry trim for comparison! 3️⃣ Yield Update Wet, the total came in at 179 grams from my plant. Trimming took around three hours, and it was actually a lot of fun, despite the time commitment. 4️⃣ Curing Plan The buds are now hanging in the tent for about 8 days. Once dried, they’ll go into jars with Boveda Packs (62% humidity) for another 3 weeks of curing. I'll update the smoke report once they’re fully cured, but I’ve already had a sample of the same strain from a friend, and I can say it’s pretty amazing. Final Thoughts on My Grow 🌱✨ As mentioned earlier, this grow has been an absolutely incredible experience, and it has definitely set me on a path to jump right into my next grow. There were ups and downs along the way, such as over-pruning, which I believe stressed the plants a bit. Additionally, I think they could have benefited from an extra week to mature. We also faced many temperature fluctuations this summer, which impacted the plants due to external weather conditions. I'm really pleased with the quality of the buds. The quantity is okay—I can’t fully gauge it yet—but I’m sure there’s more potential to unlock. I've gained valuable experience in what worked well and what didn’t. Overall, the countless lessons learned during this grow far outweigh the few mistakes made. I'm incredibly proud of my first results! Transplants been done into final containers(20l)and started LST.They doing really well,they've started sexing so I reckon from next week I'd say week 1 flower.Havent fully saturated the medium as yet with fertigation ,want that stem thicker before I do that. Weathers been decent but the wind has been strong on 1 or 2 days.

They are very ugly right now but they will grow in to beautiful plants! ____________________________________________ I got them moved into the bigger tent! Between that and them settling in, I've seen explosive growth in the last 24hrs! Its nerve racking getting these girls going! I def dont think they liked the spray bottle! But they are zooming along now! I think I've been to overzelous with damp coco and to much water. in the future i will be a bit more withholding! Make em a bit thirsty at least haha! ___________________________________________ Did all that I hoped they would do this week! Going into week 2 very strong!!!!

Jungle is growing on top of my washing machine! On the last day of week 6 I lowered lights to 35cm from canopy, this week I’m going to monitor that number and adjust as necessary because the plant is still in stretching + bud setting phase. I’m feeding with high N+mag and I’ll continue until growth slows down, than I’ll switch to megacrop 2parts. I expect that to happen end of this week, 10 days max. Day 42 - changed the fan Day 44 - finally installed the blumat auto irrigation system. It wasn’t that easy since branches are really near the substrate but at least I had the carrot already placed so I was able to do it. High frequency fertigation on coco is a must, you can’t take advantage on coco great qualities watering 1 or 2 times a day. My system has 5 drippers placed in a Pac-Man shape, more or less. Day 45 - This is an important day since it marks the halfway point of this crop, based on my previous results. Coincidentally I’ve also spotted few small trichomes on a leaf, I guess the plant is now ready to build up mass and flavors. I did a minor defoliation to open up the inner canopy and to get rid of some plant’s nitrogen reserve. I prepared 20L of my bloom solution and mixed that with the veg solution in the reservoir. For a week I’m going to use this transitional feeding. Lots of sulfur, seems to be on a volcano 🤣 Day 46 - spotted a minor P deficiency. There is probably too much calcium in my solution that is antagonizing P absorption. I mixed another batch, this is the ppm breakdown N 100 P 100 K 280 Mg 85 Ca 150 Before I had P 40 and Ca ~190, my tap water has 80ppm of Ca that is already counted it. I’ll keep this value for a couple of weeks than I’ll lower everything except K. (Edit from the future - K is too high) Day 47 - plant looks happy and bigger, it drunk 3+ liters yesterday. There is no need for humidifier anymore so I’m getting rid of it. Temperature is 30-32C with 50-60% humidity. Day 48 - buds are swelling, some branches are already showing the spiral structure. Plant drunk 5 liters yesterday, impressive.

The girls started to pre-flower on the 6th of June. They all have a slight smell when you rub the leaves. Kosher cake, Strawberry banana and the Forbidden runtz have a sweet smell to them. The Forbidden runtz reminds me of the smell of skywalker OG which is totally LUSH..!! The blackberry has more of an deep earthy smell with a slight bit of fruitiness. Week 3 of flower has come & gone without too much stress. Gave the ladies a big last defoliation to help with light penetration and airflow at end of week as they were pretty leafy Runoff was a lot lower than feed so have upped the nutes for this week. Blumats got blocked and have been a pain so whilst I'm not too busy with work over holidays will just hand water them. This plant is the most robust vigorous marijuana plant I have ever grown! It is absolutely insane. I thought she was done stretching and bushing out but boy was I wrong shes going to be over 6ft tall and almost 10ft around and it smells like I dropped the plant in a bucket of 1 year old skunk piss lol very much looking foward to this one
