I am doing everything organic, I am using compost soil from my cattle and other top soil I have been composting for awhile now. I am also using earth worm castings… I also have earthworms in the pot with the plants.. seem like all plants have ton of white hairs coming out now I don’t know what that means but I am learning as I go!!

12/20/24 chopped at day 55 with 80% cloudy and 10%amber and 10% clear or so hung for a couple days and noticed white fuzz forming at the base of the fan leaves coming out the tops colas. so thats a disaster. but these buds are so ridiculously dense that im not surprised. it still sucks. but i bucked everything else off and the stems and now am drying each bud out on a rack and trying to keep the humidity down and to save what i can. 1/4/25 saved a bit over an ounce. 30 grams dry. shes super triched out and hashy feeling when trimming. has deep black peppery notes when smoked but smells creamy and fruity/ tropical especially while

09/18/2021 At battle with catapillar this week Hand picking them off, some bud rot caused by catapillar's . Light defoiliating dying, yellowing leaves. Hand picking is tedious but well worth the effort. Feeding neptunes harvest 2-3-1 this is last week of feeding. Drinking lots of water this week gave each plant 2.0 gallons of Neptunes Harvest 2-3-1 hope it works out couldn't find fox farms, or big buds but I'm sure they will be fine.....will feed again on Friday then plain water for 3-4 weeks till harvest. Feeding should get them through the next two weeks then watering plain water should flush anything not needed by plants. Girls are thirsty this week, just in time for feeding! Neptunes Harvest seems to do the trick. Pistils piling on like crazy so one more feeding on Friday Of 2-3-1 and Week 7-8 banana peel tea, she should start Fattening up,and fading nicely by week 8-9.🙏🏻 The NPK value for banana skins is 0.6-0.4-11.5. But this is the value for dried banana skins. (I will make tea from peels) not sure of N-P-K Is for peel tea? But it works well in my opinion. Day # 6 week 6 applied gypsum today gypsum should help a little with PH issues,7.0 a little to alkaline but she will grow, but she thrive at 6.2 PH

She grows nice and quick if you Treat her well! I transplanted and made a couple mistakes so she didn’t reach 100% imo but it’s still a nice turn out! Hadn’t she not gotten pollinated I think the yield would’ve been more! Oh well still not a bad turnout will compare her to my other cut of this strain I have finishing up! Check it out, thanks for reading

Week 7 now, growth slowed a tad, figured my soil mix would be running a little low on nutes now & started the feeding. Chose to give them a single feeding of Plant-Prod MJ Grow as it has some extra stuff they may have been missing but will feed bloom starting next week! The bud sites where starting to get a little shaded from the larger fan leaves, removed them & the buds started swelling like mad! Last day of week 7 update: They drank the grow nutes with vigour, fed bud filler last night (nov 3). The feeding greened up the leaves, now I can confirm my soil mix lacks enough flower nutes for sure.

1/10 Week 9! Tara is just turning into a beast at over 3 foot she is taking over and the light is 5 inches from max height... hello super-cropping if I cant bend and secure the tall ones down some. Giving Tara as much room as possible and alternating between Cal-Mag and Magnesium Sulfate (Epsom salt) foliar feeds just to cover the bases as the rapid growth seems to be causing slight def. Defoliated both plants a good bit today, Ripley more so than Tara as that is just the leafiest dam plant. Upping feed to the high end see how they handle it, shifting feeds to mornings rather than lights on in evenings for my convenience. So they will get two feeds rather close together to make the adjustment. Since the next two grows are photos and the light schedule will be "on" at 6AM this is what needs doing. 1/14 New pics Defol Ripley further, never seen so many leaves. Only two plants in tent so lots of room for Tara which really needs to stop stretching NOW. 😅 1/15 Pic Bend and secure on highest branches on Tara lowered her about 3" so dropped lights 2" could not justify super-cropping in flower. Ripley looking damn good

Week 6 Flower Report: Maturation in Full Swing! 🌟 Welcome to the week where the magic of maturation takes center stage! 🌟 The garden has reached a pivotal moment as the trichomes are bursting with potential. Each one a glittering universe, they are the undeniable stars of this show, taking over every surface with their frosty brilliance. ✨ Watching them evolve is like witnessing art being created in real time – it’s a reminder of the beauty and patience this craft demands. Trichomes: The Frosty Frontier This week, the focus is all about those frosty beauties! • Trichomes are the key indicators of ripeness and cannabinoid production. Watching their progression from clear to cloudy to amber provides the ultimate insight into maturity. • Currently, we’re seeing a fantastic mix of cloudy trichomes with some clear still hanging around – a perfect sign that they’re gearing up for their final push. • Fun fact: Trichomes serve as the plant’s natural defense mechanism, protecting it from UV rays and pests while being our treasure trove for cannabinoids and terpenes. Spectrum Tuning: The Science of Light Light plays a major role in shaping the maturation process, and this week, we’ve dialed in the spectrum for optimal results. Here’s the breakdown: • Whites: Running at 77% to maintain robust overall growth and trichome density. • Deep Reds, Far Reds, and UV: Maxed out at 100% to mimic the end-of-season spectrum, signaling the plants to finish strong. • Deep Reds: Enhance photosynthesis efficiency through the Emerson effect. • Far Reds: Promote stretch and flowering hormone production. • UV: Stimulates trichome production for an extra boost of frost! We’ve also added a timing twist: • Reds & UV start 15 minutes before whites to simulate sunrise. • Reds & UV finish 15 minutes after whites to mimic sunset, creating a more natural light transition. These subtle timing tricks help reduce stress while optimizing light absorption, ensuring every photon counts! 🌞 Environmental Conditions: Precision is Key Here are the dialed-in parameters for the week: • Temps: 26.3°C • RH: 70.1% • CO2: 800 ppm • VPD: 1.03 kPa With these numbers, the ladies are thriving in their sweet spot, absorbing nutrients efficiently while maximizing trichome development. Lighting Power: • Lower layer at 800 PPFD and the upper layer shining bright at 1500 PPFD. The canopy coverage is perfect for even development throughout the garden. Nutrition: Balanced and Boosted We’ve stuck with the tried-and-true nutrient mix this week but with some strategic adjustments: • Removed Breaking Powder to focus on trichome maturity. • Introduced K-Boost at 0.5 ml/L, giving the plants the potassium edge they need to pack on weight and enhance terpene production. • Feeding solution details: • pH: 6.2 • TDS: 755 ppm • Temp: 20.6°C In the Autopots, the medium stays perfectly hydrated at 100% with: • TDS: 580 ppm • Temp: 22.2°C Shoutouts and Gratitude A huge shoutout to the amazing genetics and these incredible ladies, and a big thanks to Trol Master, Aptus Holland and Pro Mix for the stellar products that are elevating this grow to new heights! 🌱💪 To all growers out there, remember: Patience is the secret ingredient. Watch, learn, and trust the process – the results will always amaze you. Here’s to another week of growth and gratitude. Pictures are taken at the end of the week. Did not add KMPS for 2 days in the end, will begin again next week. Added Universol Yellow (High P) and Calcinit 1:1 to increase EC and root growth, no ml values, used the fertilizer to reach stated EC values. Roots are now clearly visible, turned of the sprayers for photos. Changed light hanging height to 50cm and intensity to 50% midweek. Turned off the exhaust at night to increase RH and Temp, at this stage this is great, later not so much. The Plant keeps rotating and this kinda worries me. Topping is planned for next week and in addition scroging, if the plant keeps spinning this could become a real problem. Otherwise the plant is thriving with good root growths and leafs, happy about that. Values are average of the day. Welcome to Week 1 of the Sweet Seeds Gorilla Girl XL Autoflowering grow courtesy of the fine folks at Sweet Seeds! This is the second of three consecutive grows/diaries that I am doing to showcase the tried and tested genetics from this reputable seed breeder. My last grow was a smashing success so I have high hopes for this grow as well. Nothing much to report for Week #1 although I will mention that the first watering was only 0.7 of a litre per plant (0.18 of a litre per plant per day) and the second was 1.4 litres per plant (0.35 of a litre per plant per day). I am watering on my usual schedule of every fourth day as this seems to be the sweet spot throughout past grows. I am using the usual- air bubbled tap water that is PH’d to around 6.0 and if need be (over the winter months in Canada) warmed to 68-70 degrees prior to hand watering with a small watering can. The seedling that lost one of it’s cotyledon leaves is fine but still a little smaller than her sisters. So now on to Mom’s tip of the week… Mom’s Tip for Week #1 is- YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR- QUALITY IS KEY!… When considering growing Cannabis, even on a small scale, quality is an important factor in all aspects from the seeds to set up to the supplies used throughout the grow. Starting with seeds from a established breeder will raise the odds considerably in your favour for a successful outcome. Many seed companies are more than willing to ship out freebies while building up their brands which seems attractive to new growers- but use at your own risk! There’s nothing worse than being halfway through a grow and discovering male flowers tucked in amongst the lowest branches or realizing that your beautiful buds have been mysteriously pollinated just weeks before harvest. I know that seeds from a reputable seed breeder are usually more expensive and can be hard to access in certain parts of the world. But purchasing quality seeds from a reputable seed company is the first step towards homegrown Cannabis success. An area that new growers often overlook due to the high price is the quality of crucial components in their set up- including tent, lights, and intake/exhaust fans. Anyone can get away with cheaper pots, oscillating corner fans, water pumps for dechlorination, etc but it’s worth every penny investing into the workhorses of your entire operation. An initial investment of around two thousand dollars will provide serious growers with the longevity and hassle free basics needed. If done right, quality components will pay for themselves within the first 6-12 months of use and continue to serve your needs for 3-5 years to come. Supplies used throughout the grow are the final area where quality is important but somewhat subjective too. Although I’ve already stated that I don’t feel the need to spend big dollars on all the extras (pots, oscillating fans, water pumps for dechlorination, PH/moisture meters, etc- I do believe in doing my homework to make sure that I’m getting the best bang for my buck. I thoroughly research every item purchased and used in my grows by reading customer reviews, speaking with other growers and sometimes even trial and error at my own expense. Making quality an important factor in all aspects of Cannabis cultivation will benefit you, your grows and the planet we live on. 🌳🌎🌳

Day 39 and things are still rolling along nicely.Ive done some light defoliation on some of the older fan leaves.Noticed a nice stretch this week and buds are forming.Ive just given plain water when the pots are dry.Se7000 dialed in at 50 percent and I’ll keep it there for a bit longer as they seem happy.Day 40 I made some adjustments to the set up and moved the inline fan/carbon filter and the humidifier outside the tent as I’ll need the room.I went ahead and added the bamboo scrog I made to spread the branches to boost production. The only thing I don’t like about the bamboo is it is a pain to water the girls.I need to do some more defoliation on the lower parts of the plants soon.Water with a dose of Recharge tonight as well.
