Welcome back to week 3 of my strawberry Cheesecake diary from seedsman seeds. This week past was quite the week for this little lady to say the least! Loom at all that explosive growth! It's amazing, and I hope she doesn't slow down anytime soon, thats for sure. Anyway, I put down a light top dress of craft blend and all purpose just to give her a little hand transitioning into bloom in these next few weeks coming up. Graduated, and am off from work for a few weeks, so went overboard on photos. Plant is doing well, leaves are starting to turn yellow (strain trait). Can't wait for the harvest and being able legally gift my xmas ornaments to my cousins during our "cousins walk" at our family xmas party.

Week 3 of flowering has started! More defoliation and loolipoping is going on and is passing the surface of the SOG... buds keep fattening, although this light is very poor I think inhave mentioned that before!!

Only feeding water now before harvest next week. I'm so pleased with these plants and can't wait to try them. 😁 Big respect to @FastBuds for the insane genetics. I've never grown buds that dense before!

All 3 plants are adapting very well to LST, the shape its growing into have been allowing the light to reach further into the lower growth nodes and branches. I like to start bending the branches close to the main stem as early as week 3 of VEG. Now these 3 Northern Lights Auto seeds are from Sun West Genetics, they were all germinated, planted, trained, fed the same way they have been on the same controlled environment since day 1, the 3 are totally different, I know each plant is unique in its own way, but I find strange that 1 plant is taller and stronger than the other 2, the smaller one is growing weak leaves with signs of mutation, all 3 plants show signs of Magnesium deficiency, these 3 plants are sharing a grow tent with a Haze Auto from Seedsman, all 4 plants are under the same diet, the Haze have no signs of deficiencies or mutations, I guess that shows what good genetics look like. For the Magnesium deficiency I have mixed my own Epson salts into water and applied as a foliar spray, internet said the spray should be used every other week, wait 2 weeks to see results. Signs of Nutes burn, I decided to stop feeding for this coming week. The 3 NL leaves are looking unhappy, kind of clawing under, they look lifeless, I have ruled off a few potential problems such as: Wind Burn Under Watering Water PH Light Burn, just moved the QB higher to 17 inches from the highest canopy today. Week# day14

Ladies, gentlemen, and all the wonderful beings following this journey, I am thrilled to announce that we have reached the highly anticipated harvest week for our beautiful PCRs. This has been an incredible journey, and now it's time to reap the rewards of our hard work and dedication. The PCRs are nothing short of perfection. Their frost-covered buds are a sight to behold, glistening like they've been kissed by winter's breath. The trichomes are abundant and sparkling, making these ladies look absolutely stunning. The aroma is intoxicating, a true testament to their strong genetics and the care they've received. Upon taking them out of the tent, I was amazed by their strength and resilience. Despite my best efforts to make them dance, these ladies stood tall and proud, requiring no support at all. This just goes to show the exceptional quality and sturdiness of the PCR strain. Unfortunately the very top buds look like they have got too hot and don’t seem to be fattening up as I would expect especially the main cola on each plant. Debating if to remove the main couple of inches of the main cola or to just hope reducing the temp will allow them to develop as normal. Any advice welcome.

Week 4 was a very active training week for Apple Gelato. The plant received two topping sessions combined with FIMing to significantly increase the number of main growth tips. In addition, Low Stress Training (LST) was applied to spread the branches horizontally and create an even, open canopy. Despite the intensive training, the plant handled everything extremely well. Recovery was fast, with no visible stress, drooping, or slowed growth. New shoots started developing quickly at all topped and FIMed nodes, showing strong vigor and good genetic stability. LST helped expose lower sites to direct light, improving airflow and setting the foundation for a symmetrical structure. Leaf color remains healthy green, internodal spacing is tight, and overall growth is compact and controlled. This combination of 2× topping + FIMing + LST has clearly prepared the plant for a bushy structure with multiple strong colas going into the next vegetative weeks.

Our little Do Si Dos has started to flower, the main lining has given it a very nice bonsai look, there are a good number of buds that are coming up. The plant is an exemplary with a very short internodal distance, the mini brunches were growing and becoming lignified quickly. It probably won't produce a lot of grass but it will be very beautiful to look at, full of resin and flower quality for sure. I deal with the image of cannabis and the eye also wants its part, what can I say. We are still using soil, feeding and all the recommended additives from Plagron 100% organic. We have moved on to the flowering start schedule that keeps the same Power Roots additives - Sugar Royal, Pure Zym and adds the flowering stimulant dear in my house for obvious reasons of Biscotti. Of course the basic fertilizer is now Alga Bloom. The Green Sensation when the flowers are already a bit swollen, do not start immediately. Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Semana 2: Creo que una de las mejores decisiones fue meter poda de puntas a tiempo. Si las hubiera dejado crecer, a estas alturas ya estarían demasiado cerca del foco, con riesgo de estrés o problemas en una floración más avanzada. Claramente no voy a sacar colas gigantes o “colas de zorro”, pero sí voy a bastante cosecha gracias al buen espacio que hay en interior

Since I started her on hygrozyme, hyshield and ph perfect, it's been nothing but smooth sailing! Such a relief because it seemed to stall last week. New white pistils, a noticeable chunk to the buds. I'm a happy camper now! I know I said I'd start this plant on overdrive last week, but we'll start this week instead. I'm blown away by this plant's color and smell. I mean it doesn't smell like the weed I'm used to. It's like fruit salad nested between a bed of flowers. Heavenly! Honestly, I know this plant won't be as much a yielder as I initially hoped. But the quality will surely make up for that. On top of that, we've got FIVE more banana dads to run, so I hope to get better and better with this strain in the months to come. Biggest mistake has to do with how little nutes I fed this plant whole cycle. I went the minimalist route, feeding mostly low-dose compost tea. Learned my lesson - to just use compost tea as a supplement with my grow style. Thanks again @JhindleHydro for pointing me in the right direction, you may have saved my plant, m8! Almost forgot to mention, I've added a 300w LED flower-spectrum board to help out in the flowering tent. It's no Mars Hydro - But it should do just fine as supplemental lighting.

7/5/22 VD8 Coming along ok. Hoping for much better growth this week after starting a negative pressure environment I'm hoping this will increase co2. I'll monitor her for now and keep your on the same ppm/EC. I'll be taking away Artios Touch for this week and adding Atlas. Maybe during the week I'll increase PPM. 9/5/22 Up and coming plans. I'm going to top 1 of this in the coming week. Also I have a few ideas to help out in the pre flowering stage and have sorted out a temp controlled (AC intake fan). This will enable me to turn it on for 5mimd out of every 30 and pump cold 18c air into. I've also turned the light from 65% - 87.5%. Holding that lil bit of an extra kick for preflowering given with as much co2 time I can give them in their new homebox ambient 150+ 150x150x220 will allow me to go big and will widen in most areas what I can do with these girls. I'll be keeping a 50x50 space free in my tent for the 20l dehuimifier that will be running in the tent with my 800m3 6 inch EC/TEMP C9NTROLLED PRIMA KILMA intake fan will be turned on, by request OF the new automated dehuimdifying/temp controlled area which will allow me to grow in high co2 environment for at least 25 mins out of every 30. It'll all depend how quick my 3 co2 bags can bring up the ppm. And I'll only be doing this for preflower only then I'll go back to a negative pressure environment 15/5/22 Great week for growth. Had a look at the ends of the pots and roots where coming out of the end of the holes. Days ago. Hmmm, I'll only know if I waited too long if they stall. 16/5/22 So, as I suspected, both pots were root bound. Had to break up the soil instead of putting right into new pot minimising shock, sadly that's not gonna be the case, expecting considerable shock as I had to break up the soil, not fully but enough so roots will hopefully grow down. At best it'll set me back 2-4 days at worst 1-1.5 wks of a stall.
