2025/01/07 The little ones are growing diligently. Ami and Amber have developed a CalMag deficiency, so I’ve slightly increased the CalMag dosage. 2025/01/08 Today, I transplanted them into their final 18L pots. Maybe a bit early, but I think it's better too early than too late. 2025/01/11 The ladies are growing great, and the CalMag deficiency seems to be resolved. 😊

7/3/24 - Start of Week 8, more and more purple every day. 7/8/24 - Plucked some leaves here and there. Been watering and feeding as needed. I've reduced the amount of water I give compared to previous runs. At this point I would've been giving close to 1gal. every few days. Cut back to around 1qt+ but I've decided not to water/feed on a set schedule. I'd like to flush the soil but things are going so well I'm worried I'll fuck something up.

Overview of my grow: Tent: Secret Jardin DS120 4 x 4 (120 cm by 120 cm) Lights: 2 x 120 Watt CTlite c4 clusterled Climat: Trotec Dehumidifyer 240 watt- 10L/24h Filter: Prima Klima carbon filter PK2600 fan: 2 x Secret Jardin 20watt osc. fan Pots: Gronest 4 x 11 liter airpots Water : automated water system PH: bluelab Nutrients: Plagron cocos A + B Plagron PK 13/14 ATA cal/mag Epsom salt Week 5 She grew 16 cm in height, she is the smallest in the grow so far, bus she has a nice indica structure with some nice sidestems. At the end of the week i give 1.4 EC nutrients. So far so good 😊

2/12 Week 7 and its Flowering Time!!!! She is up to 29" and on full Bloom nuets low end of TDS range. Color is incredible, cant wait to get some lights off pictures of this sweet girl. Keeping her top canopy clear so we get lots of bud sites down the road! Not a lot of smell yet very weak hard to peg. Really liking this strain so far! 2/13 Light changed to MH in attempt to limit stretching. Hung a small 2700K 30 watt LED directly over Chiana out of the path of the main light to give her just a bit more red spectrum. Not much but something. 2/14 Rearranged the tent to give better access to the photos and allow better hanging of the small LED and give a bit more light from the MH. Runoff tested on all plants and ranged from 550-600 ppm which just leaves us all kinds of room later for more nuets. Heck this is perfect

Day 12 pushing hard like the last 4 grows. I’m very impressed so far. Maybe a little calcium that’s about it

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. I preferred to remove my net this week, to more easily access my plants and water them. I hope the branches will hold I cut a lot of leaf this week. I hear different opinions that say it's beneficial others not... At least it will have the advantage of lowering the humidity. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Water: tap water at 300 PPM, I add 0.7G of Hybrid powder and 0.3g of booster PK+ per liter to reach 950PPM and I adjust the PH to 5.8. I watered daily until water drained from the pot (to release nutrients from previous waterings) and I take a 3-4 day watering break to let it dry out before resuming a daily watering schedule. -Daytime temperature: 22-26°C -Night temperature: 20-24°C -Humidity: 50-75% ( Too high but it's hard to lower it...
