The thunderstorms finally came to an end and the coming week will bring some sunny days. In the last few days I noticed that some ladybugs got attracted by my plants. They are welcome to stay for a long time. The rodent, which I mentioned in the last week, didn't cause any new damage to my plants. The remaining damage is healing properly. Size difference between all plants: Plant 1: ~100cm Plant 2: ~100cm Plant 3: ~80cm

Alright all, it's been awhile since I've been able to update so I have a couple weeks to catch up on. Unfortunately my cheap phone was having issues last week and I had to do a deep clean and got rid of some photos, photos I though I'd uploaded to my drive that I actually hadn't. I seriously could have kicked myself. But thankfully I at least have a video instead of nothing. So on August 1st I got some spent hardwood substrate blocks from a mushroom farmer down the road. I crumbled the blocks around the base of each plant and watered them in. The purpose of putting the blocks down is that they still have live mycelium in them, and the mycelium creates a symbiotic relationship with the cannabis plant and it's root structure. The cannabis roots can only take up so much surface area, but the mycelium can take up the space the roots do not and form a network where in exchange for sugars the mycelium will provide nutrients for the cannabis plants. Also, watering with the molasses gives the mycelium the sugars it wants. I'm sorry I don't have more pictures, I wasn't even thinking when I was cleaning up my phone because I was so frustrated with it (there's a reason LG stopped making phones recently). It's just been wayyyyyyyy more busy than I expected or wanted it to and I've had hardly any time in the garden. It's all this rain! Last year I was complaining about how there wasn't enough rain, now this year there's plenty of it. When I'm not doing Garden stuff I'm working part time with my husband doing landscaping and tree work, which includes mowing lawns. Last year with the drought we were mowing lawns maybe every 2 weeks. This year it's every 4-5 days. It's crazy.

Had first snow this week. La jefa is going to be flushed this week entering the home stretch. Branches can barely support the flowers.

day70 : today I start the flush on GSC # 2 Day72 : all GSC(3) are in the flush phase Day73 : after 7 and 10 days of flush, the first two plants (GSC#1 & Z.OG#1) are ready to be cut 👌 UPDATE : after a careful control of the grow box, I decided to start the flush phase on the other plants, except for 2 G.G. and the giant Z.OG 😎

This is the last week before water flush and the harvest. Plants continue in their course. The week plant surprisingly will give some crop but the healthy one is very pretty. From today I started with the water to flush.

Light defoliation this week very couple of day's. Humidity up too at weeks end due to rain not to worried . Get it 1 maybe 2 weeks and if not down below 60 will have to set up dehumidifier.

This girl is coming along really nicely I'm really pleased with how she had turned out for my first ever grow. I have noticed this week she is starting to get a lot more of purple colour to her stem and branches she looks amazing. Her buds are are looking really frosty and are nicely dense I can't wait to try them! This week I have started the full flush by doing a full reservoir change to just water at ph 6.2 - 6.5 and will continue to add just water untill harvest. Happy growing 🌱

Minor leaf miner activity, but dont feel like treating it with neem this late. i just remove those leaves or the infected finger. such a resilient plant. the hailstorm definitely did some damage but she healed nicely. definitely going to have a lot of popcorn nugs but whatever, the yield should still be great barring mold/rot/mildew. wish she'd finish in about 2 weeks because the nights are getting colder and humidity/rain will only increase from here, but she has at least 3 weeks left - pistils arent even turning brown yet. no signs of bud rot, had a scare last week but it was just a tiny feather

Day 64 : FLIP THE LIGHTS DAY. It is time now to flip these beasts. if I allow them to get any bigger , I will have to knock a hole in my roof to fit them at harvest. I am so impressed with them from planting till now. They have not missed a beat during their toppings and bends . Their recovery times have been hardly noticable after each session and theybhave rewarded me with a great shaped canopy to get working on as they stretch. I am not counting the transition weeks as flowering until I see actual flowers forming. FFT1 has remained smaller than the rest and I don't think she is a record breaker . looks ok but doesn't have the size and thickness of her cousins. FFT5 is a beauty of a plant with a lot of thick stems to keep the buds upright hopefully.The same with FfT7. They are full of new mains to get working on and the stacking below decks is a good indication of some baseball bat colas. They are doing brilliant in the 2and run of the L.O.S soil and show no signs of that changing at all. I did top dress with Life-cycle tongue them a little boost for their stretch periods. They are taking a lot of water between them every 4 days now. Approx 25L before any minimum run off occurs. All told a great week in the room. Excellent genetics Fast Buds , Thanks Hayley.

This week she’s bloomed after all that time thinking it was an auto it turns out she’s a photo which is weird because Top Tao seeds do not do photoperiod seeds to my knowledge as I tried to purchase some could only find autos however this Taomatic is not an auto I had another one growing as well which I tore down as these plants were nearly 3 months in and not a single sign of showing sex well you live and you learn BUT on a good note she’s smells very danky not a usual danky smell either it’s different, as of now I would say Top Tao seeds are good they take to topping and heavy training well I cracked 8 regular seeds and only had 2 males maybe it’s luck? we’ll see anyway happy growing peace ✌️🏾

6/7 flipped to flower leafs lil droopy due to over watering a lil bit but it’ll bounce back and everything else looking good tho I think the flowering stretch is going be wild haven’t grown one this tall before going have to move the light up some more soon

Amazing harvest 160 dry hard bit bit crunchy buds. Im getting better and better in curing. This is almost one month after harvest and curing at least 3 weeks. Incredible growth ... I had to bust out and move to a 2x5 with more height. Increased light coverage and airflow, nitrogen needs flushed, some signs of toxicity ... very happy.

Wow this has been an amazing journey. These three plants have given me so much joy it’s gonna be tough to chop in a couple weeks. Plant 1(clone). Looks the same. No better or worse than before. It’s has always had a very bright greenish yellow color and has produced a small amount of bud that looks to be promising. Barely any trimming except for near the end of the run. Plant 2 (Cookies and Cream) This plant stayed small and bushy. And while I did miss a watering day I’m pretty sure this plant is almost ready. I had an issue with Hermie bananers but got that taken care of. Anyone else think I should harvest a week or two early. Plan was for July 4th weekend but I’m thinking two weeks early may be OK. Its getting purple and the top fan leaves are getting crinkly and drying out so I was told those can come off if they are falling off. Plant 3 (Cookies and Cream???) This last strain is either cookies or it’s called grease monkey. I may have mislabeled it when watering near week 3-4. But it’s still good. It got really tall and foxtailed with intensity. Bummed but not upset. All three look good and healthy for the most part.

Week 16: *whewww* well technically this is the first full week of Flower... I followed the directions and went to 18/6 for "Early Flower".. but in the future I will refer to this as pre-flower and will start this about a month before going into Flower... I think this helps make the flip more pronounced and will help with a more consistent flower in my tent. Who knows tho? We do see pistils - so that's exciting... and tbh I was saying we vegged for too long.. but who knows, maybe we will have an extensive root system and will be able to support larger buds! Nothing is really a loss at this point, and I will say I'm even learning more about myself. I'm a thinker I like to process things, I like doing it with people.. and I don't mind making mistakes... but I rather them be calculated.. So I know what to do or not to do in the future... I'm realizing my partner is more of a tinkerer.. he always has big ideas and likes to use his energy to move toward them.... I think we complement each other because my thoughts would've led me toward stopping the growth of this project a long time ago.. but I'm happy it's still going!

This strain is the best looking in the tent, color is perfectly uniform top to bottom. We stripped all plants heavy on the first day of flower because they were so large. We were hoping that this would control stretching some but these tower over the rest. Their node spacing looks prime for fat, intact main buds which always makes me happy. The 3th week of 12/12 is history and flowering has entered the grow room. 😋 I marked day 53 (day 17 of 12/12) as the first day of actual flowering. Everyday I've checked if there were fungus gnats trapped on the yellow sticky traps and I've spotted a few. So not a total infestation. I've also checked for signs of hermies and I haven't seen any. I've had one a few years ago and it pretty much ruined the whole grow. Seeds everywhere. But that was another breeder and strain. Under the screen I did some final pruning and above a minor defoilation. The Runtz are stretching nicely and the screen is filled pretty much like I wanted it to. Gonna leave them alone now, done with bending those shoots under the screen. This weeks temperatures stayed between 20,6°C (69°F) and 24,2 °C (75,5°F) and humidity levels between 44 – 56 % Light pressure was raised from 244 watt at 70cm (27 inch) to 260 watt at 63cm (25 inch). Their diet consisted of ph adjusted tapwater (ph 6,38 – ec 0,49) most of the week. They were barely fed for 1 day. Gonna keep it that way as long as I don't see any signals of shortages or surpluses. Naturally, ec leves will rise next week but one day of feeding seems enough for now. Smell is coming in slightly, but the CAN-lite carbon filter is doing it's job. There's a 600m³ one hanging in the grow room connected to a 550m³ Airfan foam softbox that's dimmed at 40% since the start of this grow. That was the most important info for this week. Reaching peak flower now so added PK into the mix for extra Potassium and Phosphorous over the next 10 days or so. Never had plants soak up this much nutrients without any burn (touch wod) so I'm really impressed with the Vitalink range. These 2 clones are at the back of the tent, and to the bottom and right of the screen in the timelapse.
