Week 9! We're reaching the home stretch! I defoliated "J", heavily and super cropped her taller tops. She also is the only one to receive nutrients. The crop is still pretty hefty, so we'll water them 🌞 tomorrow.
"J" is happy in her space and is content staying in Veg, indefinitely. I don't have the requirements to flip her into Flower and won't for quite some time, growing Photoperiods was not in the setup or budget.
There is still no smell to speak of, except when you manipulate her, she gives off a citrus, pine aroma.
This grow has been fairly easy going so far, no real issues to report. I'd like to thank 🙇♀️🏾 @WeedSeedsExpress and I look forward to growing their many different strains.
Finally, let me apologize for the quality of my 📸 camera, or lack thereof.
July 29, 2021, Thursday. I watered the crop thoroughly and rotated them. The girls (other than "J") are watered with pH'd tap water, that fluctuates between 6.2 & 6.4.
July 30, 2021, Friday. Girls are chillin'. I'm really having a BLAST! I knew I was going to love cannabis cultivation, but this is something else. I've taken to it, like a 🦆 duck to water. I can't wait to see what more knowledge and experience will reveal.
Anyone that's been on the fence about whether to grow or not, do it. Just go ahead and do it. Only thing I regret, is not being able to afford more 💡 lights and fans.

July 31, 2021, Saturday. Everything is peachy.
August 1, 2021, Sunday. I watered the girls today. I moved "J" into the "Veg Desk" and she seems to be adapting to her new environment quite nicely.
Freeman's birthday is just days away! Freeman the person, not the plant. As I mentioned earlier in the diary, this grow has been in secret and is a surprise birthday present. I tell Freeman everything that happens in my life, so keeping this secret was a bit fun.
I look forward to August 5, for the big reveal to Freeman! Stay tuned!

I've had success in the past with transplanting autos from solo cups to their final pots as long as I dont allow the roots to reach the bottom before transplanting.

Welcome back everyone,
As you can see are almost all seedlings growing. Some where still in the soil.
Might happend when giving water(seedlings can turn or get deeper), checked it out and they are alive and well.
All pictures are from day 4.
The humidifier had been added, so I had to adjust the room.
I spotted a corner of the room that gets dryer faster. I adjust the fan for now and see what happens.
Corners are always hard to get perfect. Sometimes the light, air, watering doesn't come there properly.
Seedlings don't need much nutrients, neighter do autoflowers. with normal soil I would recommend to only give water for 1-2 weeks, since it holds nutrients in it as well.
But since I'm using Cocos for this grow, I might have to add some basic nutrients in the upcomming week.
For this week I gave/give only water turns and Startbooster/rhyzotonic turns.
Update day 5:
- Lowerd the lights to avoid stretching, they are now at 75cm distance from lamp to pots.
I want them at 40-50 cm, but I don't want to rush it.
- Added another layer of cocos to avoid the soil from drying up therefore the roots from dying.
This will happen because of lowering the lamps down, the soil will get exposed more to heat.
As you can see, the humidifier is doing his thing haha. Pictures and videos where taken without the lights + fans on.
because of that, it will look like this. Still fun thought.
Arround 7 seeds didn't reach the surface yet, lets hope they make there way up soon.

Going into week 9, seeing some frost on the leaves and the aroma is stronger and so nice. She looks great after the heavy defoliation last week, contrary to opinions from a few critics. Sometimes I like to find out for myself, I read many different viewpoints on defoliation and I decided to try. And it worked. Peace friends, happy growing! 🌱👍

This week was an absolute scorcher with daytime temps in the low 30C, but we had no rain so I had to water more frequently. Seen a lovely burst of growth after last week's nutrients. Decided to bend and secure today to learn new technique. I'm fairly happy with the results. Think I might need to book up a scrog net worth all my girls after this training.

This week we are only in cruise control, we did the last irrigation with fertilizers and we are planning the flushing for the next week.
We also had problems with humidity due to the weather. We don't have a dehumidifier, so we try other homemade techniques to solve the situation.
The flowers have gained some weight and are changing the smell. We are excited for the harvest.

This week is week three and growth has begun to pick up on both plants. They are growing branches, which is the first node beginning to form. I lowered the light to the 8” inches off of Cookie Monster, since she is the tallest at this point. Noel is growing her first node too even though she is much smaller than Cookie Monster. Right now Cookie Monster is 2” inches tall and Noel is inch and a half tall. This week they both are starting Perfect Grow nutrition and The Coffee spread. Next week I will add boost to the grow nutrient and continue the coffee spread.

Soaked in water 24 hours all seed fell to bottom, put in paper towel over night and 6 out of 10 have sprouted.
In this cross I will be looking for powdery mildew immunity first and foremost. ( goal achieved see week 15)
Also hope to make cookie cake stretch more and bring a sativa influence.

One week old today 5 out of 10, 6th sprout had stem rot 60% germination. Now hope for 3 girls at least 🙏

awesome strain, fat resinous buds with an awesome scent and great yield! both plants grew very evenly and almost looked the same, would grow again any time!

Today is the last day of week 1 flower.
I've been working on raising the ph in the medium of Zorro x Purple Punch 2, she was showing a Calcium Deff in the previous post.
She was getting the same feed as the others ph 6.2 but instead of running off around 5.8 like the others she was swinging right down to like 5.2-5.3 so she's been getting a separate feed with neutral ph and her runoff comes out at 6.2 now which I'm happy with as I move into the second week of flower and where I got them all to with today's feed. She has shown no further defficiciencies since.
Other than that they have all been doing what they do best and they have been happy all week, only really disturbed them to feed them, until today.
Today I gave them a little training and bent their branches away from each other.
Also today I switched their feed up a little but I've not added the changes to this entry because today is one day and the values are for the whole week but the changes today are as follows....
I took out Cellmax Rootbooster - pots are well rooted and I'm leaning towards flower production now as I come into week 2 of flower.
I added Cellmax Flower Stimulator at half strength - easing them into flower power mode!
I added Cellmax AlgaMax 1ml per litre - The kelp keeps stress levels minimum and I've done a little LST plus the last 2 days have been around 20 celcius which translated to 26 - 30 celcius in my tent.
I alternate all watering one with feed and one without so long as they are in good health.
Other than that not much to report, growths good, bud formation is on schedule with lots of pistils although they are 9 weeks old so they already had nice lady gardens 🤭

Next week i will add some more bat mix to the textile bags and a week later the first bloom nutrients because if flipped the time to 12-12 from Sunday 26-2.

Flower Week 1 Day 0 to 6 - 4/22 to 4/28
Flip week and same day extreme defoliation to encourage top stretch. (flip day was actually 4/24) The defoliation of everything below the bottom two nodes really shows the difference of breakage on these. I'm glad I ran these through to the end as you can see the difference more directly on the same plants rather than 2 separate plants. (although Im sure you can gather the same information that way too)
Feed this week was an auto pot reservoir feed at 600ppm total before add-ins. I used 450ppm Veg concentrate mix (recipe week 2) and increased to 150ppm Bloom concentrate mix (recipe week 5). I also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) and ph balance this week was for 5.8 as it will be for the rest of the grow

Next week I plan to train the stretch and lowest branches for Schwazze defoliation on day 21 of flower. Feed next week will increase to 650ppm and it will be the first reduction of Veg Mix.
