4/20 Still having trouble getting seeds to grow! 4 out of 6 seeds from the initial pop have died, so I've popped one more Chemdogging and one more Sour Diesel. Placed the popped seeds directly in the pot they'll stay in for the whole grow per suggestions. Built a 30"x36" trellis out of 3/4" PVC pipe, will install a double trellis netting on it once I set up the Blumat watering system. Also added in a smart power strip that now has built-in timers I can control from my phone. Organized all my extra grow equipment and cleaned up the room! The little pots in the photos are some random seeds I'm starting off in here to give to some friends to grow outdoors. 4/25 - sour diesel popped up today! 5/2 Still no luck getting the Chemdogging to sprout, currently waiting on C-dog and a Blackberry auto to sprout in my other two pots. Set up some random plants from seeds I found in a bag of Black Lime and Cookies, put them in a separate room to flower so I can find out if they're female.

I had originally planted 2 purple kush and 2 fucking incredible autoflower seeds by crop king seeds. 1 purple kush never sprouted. So I planted in its place a white widow.

12/3 Week 10 Brandy being harvested in the AM Layla and Maggie got a PK 0-10-7 booster in 6.5 water @1 gal each still plenty of nuets in the pot just getting them all I can 12/4 Harvested Brandy numbers and pics also be in harvest week when others are done. 13 hours and 33 minutes of daylight when I took these photos and this video on August 27th. I've been slacking this month on uploading, having to play catch-up with this just like everything else in my life. I'm so glad it's going to be September in a couple days. The weather is cooling off thankfully🙏 So, I cover most of the situation in the video, but basically GG (Good Girl) is looking great and her flowers are coming along nicely, whereas PC (Problem Child) is still continuing to be a Problem. Child. First of all, PC is a much heavier feeder than GG. I have to give her almost 2x as much food as I give the other plants for her to have the same color. And since I've been running around all August and haven't had much time to tend to my beauties, I haven't been feeding as much as I could have. The other photoperiods are fine, They're still getting nutes from the soil and hopefully the mycelium from the substrate blocks have moved into the root system and are acting like good roommates and doing their part to support the soil foodweb. But this isn't enough for PC. Her flower development is definitely behind and her color is a brighter green than the other plants. Hopefully I'll have time this month to just put the groceries to her and encourage those flowers to bloom because now I'm worried about the frost that will start coming in early October. Frost and ripe trichomes don't mix very well. My apologies for repeating myself in the video😬

Comenzamos la 2° semana con un riego de enrraizador Deeper Underground (Top Crop) añadiendo 1ml/l en el agua con pH6 donde la dejamos reposar durante 1 día con una bomba de agua para eliminar cloro e impurezas. Día 9: La planta ya tiene 4cm y sigue creciendo sin problemas y ninguna señal negativa. Tanto la temperatura como la humedad la seguimos teniendo en valores óptimos. Día 12: Hoy tocó riego con agua limpia, sin nurientes con pH6, 200PPM y 30°C.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Added Exhale c02 and top dressed in each pot with 1 tablespoon per gallon of growing medium my pots are 3.6. I added 3 tablespoons. It is my hopes that with adding the slow release dry amendments and once the c02 bag sarts growing my plants will finally grow. They are short but have 4 nodes at day 21. What is an exhale c02 bag? “The ExHale bag is a patented strain of mycelium that produces an abundance of CO2 without fruiting. This means that when our bag is activated, the mycelium grows, eating the substrate it comes with, giving off heaps of CO2 straight into your garden, and it does all this for 6 months - guaranteed!” At day 25 I am not impressed with the size of these girls? Hope they hit a growth spurt soon? Their internodes are stacked very nicely. At day 28 growth is very slow. Practically none existent since my top dressing at day 23. 2 plants have received a very minimal nutrient burn. As I do not have a soil ph tester? I will be watering with a ph of 6.0 rather than 6.5, hopefully that helps. ONWARD!

New week, seems ok for first morning, will do heavy feed on day 52. I already gave away one plant ( strawberry cough photo ) now one of fast diesels still stucked in pre-flower, would love to return to 18/6 regime, just dont want any reveg or hermie. Still lost. Fingers crossed ;) Day 53 Morning, leaves a bit down after night, everything looking not bad, thinking to defoliate two midle babies. Had a big mistake on day 52, they where down, i stayed for one night out and was late with watering for a day, they looked totaly down, like my mobile, thats why no photos, never seen any plant so bad in my hole life... But they are ok now, quess it was on the verge, but damadge was done 100 % Day 53 evening. I wouldnt be me if i wont be searching ways to screw up the crop ;))) After many hesitations i decided to do very light defoliation. And ..... They hated it. Lets give couple days, but 2 huge stresses in 3 days dont give me and girls joy for sure .... In that rush forgot to make third Fast diesel photo, but i quess she didnt made mind to flower, took like 5 leaves down and left her for a bit,very annoying , she will be a big delay at the end or very early harvest, both ways waste of time.... Plus had to reduce light to 15.5 of day, maybe those 30 min will force her ... All 3 Fast Diesels are very mag hungry, fed them with epsom salt extra. Day 54 . Fast Diesel 3 went to 24 hours darkness prison with a heater ;))) hope that will teach her a lesson ! Others got feed with silicic acid, they drink, thats a good sign tho ! Fast Diesel 3 was a day behind from all, even 5 leaves was too much. But its a good time for me to give last trick i can, before downgrading day hours even more. Day 54 Evening. Girls are praying again, silica always boost them to hapiness ;) Day 56. Girls are growing, looks like last Fast Diesel starts to make buds from preflower, but a lot of pistils going brown, so either its heat, which i will check today or its hermie ;))) Could be wind damage, i will check all options today, returned from work, made short shitty video and thats all ;) End of week.

Solo cup challenge continues to press along. Not much change, plants are in veg, growing and healthy. Still a few weeks before the flowers start so I hope to get a bit of size going before it does.
