This end week 4 flowering last defoliation happy growing

👉The daily routine of twice daily fertigation has given me a small insight as to what Phil Conners may have gone thru. There has been promising changes however that re-assure me that the plant is indeed maturing and will finish soon. The top leaves are starting to fade, and a couple of amber trichomes have been spotted! So far the amber color is light, almost yellow, and should darken up a bit by harvest time. At the rate they seem to be getting cloudy/milky I could be harvesting in as little as 3 days, but that is just wishful thinking I'm sure. I'm hoping no more than 10 more days. But I will let the plant decide...as long as there are only a few clears and the rest cloudy then I will harvest. 👉I took one small cola tip bud from an upper level, secondary branch. It weighed 30g with leaves, 10g trimmed and when dried to 20% should be 2g. I did this to be able to inspect the buds with a little more stability when using the USB scope. Those pix are the first 6 on this page. 👉Nutrient mix is the same recipe: week 11 on the General hydroponics flora series drain to waste chart. I reduced the concentration to 1ms from 1.3. The saturation level for the pot is averaging around 1lt per fertigation. I give it 2.5l at lights on, and 2L 1-2hrs before lights off. For some reason this grow session there is a persistent/prolific algea growth on the outside of the pot (cloth pot). I have the same fan setup Ive been using all year. It may be that when I didnt spray the pot off for a couple week the algea got a firm hold on the pot. I use a pressure sprayer with a H2O2 solution (1gallon water with 60ml h202) to spray off the exterior of the pot every couple days. THis keeps it at bay somewhat. After harvest I will cut open the cloth pot to see if the algea extends inside the pot any and if has affected the roots. 👉 While trichome hunting is very kewl if good pictures are taken, its very frustrating to get a decent pic due to any slight shake causes the pic to blur. When doing daily eye loop inspections I dont turn off the grow lights or fans. But when trying to get pix I turn off all the fans and both grow lights. This helps a little when trying to take pix with the USB scope.I have the small scope mounted on a tripod and that eliminate my own movement, but just trying to focus proves to be tedious because any touch causes the image to shake wildly, which results in very slow progress as I search around the plant and try for decent pix. Today I got a tube extension set for my 35mm DSLR. It turned my regular 55mm lens into a macro lens. While its not the same as a regular macro lense, its way cheaper....35$ for the tube set as opposed to 300$ for an actual macro lens. THe high resolution allows me to get sharp images with a deeper feild of focus than the scope. I still need lots of practice and need to work on lighting. I included some cropped and un-cropped macro shots done with the camera. The other macro shots are the USB scope. You can see its still got plenty of clear, lots of cloudy, and an amber here or there. The areas that I have touched have strands of resin that look almost like spider silk. SOOOOOO frosty! Santa is going to really enjoy his milk and cookies when he visits my house.

Week 5 day 1. I have a favourite for next run. I’m very happy, I haven’t really defoliated at all this grow, just letting it grow. Wish I was going for mains(topping) but still very good. Going to wait around week 9 so seeds will be good for next run. I have decided to do very hard hst next round to show max potential. Very happy with supercropping so will do it very heavy with scrog. I will try to reveg the one I really like but it is difficult having only 1 set of lights and 1 tent. Plants are about 7ft tall, might just run 2 next round in 4x8 or will still continue to go 4 in the 4x8.

Flowering day 15 since time change to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) This week the ladies developed beautifully 👍. The stretch has started very strongly :-) . Watering was done twice this week with 1.2 l (see table above for nutrients). The heating mat does exactly what it is supposed to do, you can see that the ladies are doing perfectly again 😃. Fresh osmosis water was mixed with tap water in a 100 liter tank so that I would have enough stale water for the coming week 👍. Otherwise everything was cleaned and checked. During the check, I noticed that after spraying neem oil 3 times, there were still a few damn trips to see. I have ordered nematodes for leaf and substrate against tripse. Happy Easter Everyone! Time for an update During week 10 NEW LIGHT installed!! ViparSpectra XS2000. So excited! I think the plants are a little shocked from the change in light but hopefully they recover just fine. This week 3 of the plants definitely started showing some issues I have never had before. I started noticing rust spots on the upper top leaves of the plants which I believe was the consequence of the following... A.Nutrient lockout B. Soil PH too low from over fertilization C. Soil PH being too low due to the peat moss in the growing medium. I have purchased dolomite lime as an organic alternative to properly balance soil PH for my next grow. I did do a light flush with PHd water at 6.5. Plan for week 11 Going to be adding some Calcium to the soil during next watering to see if that helps new growth on the plants (Tuesday) At this point I will be just keeping an eye on more rust spots forming on the leaves. I have backed off on adding more P & PK at this time because I think I over fertilized last time. I am learning a lot still with every week of this grow. I know now how to dial in the nutrients and better amending soil first. Since my soil has peat moss I think that had a lot to do with the acidity as it breaks down. Really hoping these girls continue to finish out okay! Thinking that they will take the full 14/15 weeks at this point.

10/2 all looking good, (day40) week 5 flowering, its started to get smelly but a really goood smell i really dont wanna leave the room haha, the buds getting bigger and bigger and can see alot of trichomes filling the bud, so far so good for hermie buds. i lowered the EC to 1.8 because the tips of the leaves burned.

This week I transplanted them from the AC Infinity Seed Starter to their 5 gal grow bag or their final pot! I like to make my own super soil out of Root Organics Formula 707, Coco Coir, Perlite, Vermiculite, and amendments. Then I placed a hole in the middle of the 5 gal grow bag, for the plant being transplanted, and placed the young seedling into the hole. Then I lightly covered around the base of the young seedling. Then I watered with 250mL of pH balanced H20! From there that's it just checking on it daily and watering as needed daily with plain pH balanced H20. Then I amended the soil with 4-4-4, 4-6-3, Blood Meal, Bone Meal, Alfalfa Meal, Kelp, and Earthworm Castings. Then I gave nutrients every other day. First General Hydroponics MaxiGrow then plain pH balanced H20 the next day. Then amended the soil as noted above. Then plain pH balanced H20 the next day. Then I would feed The Stash Blend and then plain pH balanced H20. Then the General Hydroponics MaxiGrow and then plain pH balanced H20. Then Real Growers Soil Recharge and finally plain pH balanced H20 to finish the week off. I always pH at 6.0 for nutrient solutions and 6.8 for my plain pH balanced H20. My temps for solutions were 72° and ppm was 800-850 with EC 1600-1700. I always use my oxygenated H20 that is monitored by a professional meter and so are it's levels! I have oxygenated H2O with a pump ready to go at all times! This way I can just scoop up the water and go on demand without having to worry! All and all they're growing well and gaining a ton daily!!

4/7 245am MONDAY totally unnecessary lighting!!!!! Experimenting with supplemental lighting ideas!! it does not have a dimmer no blue lights. It uses 16 W so I lowered the main lighting from 99 to 97 and I will probably bring it down to 94 and that will keep it as cool as the room, but the same amount of heat is a person is all the tent should give off👍👍 FROM GROK...
