This week has gone fine except for one thing which I’ll come to later on. Still stretching, canopy par level is 900 on average and I don’t have any way of getting the lights up further. Hoping the intense light will slow the stretch down a bit but we will have to wait and see. Worst case I’ll have to dim the lights down a bit. That leads me onto the mystery of this week. The nearly dead plant. I have no idea why it has gone so limp. You can kind of see on the photo lapse how quickly it collapses. Incase it’s some kind of disease I’ll give it another day in there. If it doesn’t recover I’ll have to pull her out and try to train the other plants over her empty spot so I don’t waste any light. EC is around 1.2-1.5 atm, the highest dose I’ll be giving them will be week 4 and 5 of flower when the buds seem to do the most weight gains (visually). Canopy is actually quite even if you overlook the hole in the canopy, maybe a couple inches between highest and lowest. Anyway, thanks for checking in guys, if anyone has any thoughts/comments about the dead plant let me know as I’m struggling to find answers online. 😊

8/5/23 - Day 54 - Last night, a successful water change took place. I've attached a picture of the bucket at the top for reference. While I currently perform manual water changes, I have plans to automate the process using the available hookups. Unfortunately, the unit was shipped quickly, leaving me no time to set up the automatic system before receiving the LEAF box. However, on my next grow, I'll ensure the drain and water inlet are properly connected. During this current grow, the bucket you see at the top is always connected to the drain as a precautionary measure. I can activate the draining process through the app, and after two cycles, all the water, including the water collected by the dehumidifier, is efficiently removed. Following the draining process, I fill the box with RO water, and from there, the LEAF box takes over and automatically dispenses the necessary nutrients. This automated system has made the whole process incredibly easy, eliminating any guesswork. I simply empty and fill the water; everything else is expertly handled by the LEAF box. The flowering stage is progressing exceptionally well. The plant has ceased growing upward, and the buds are now thriving and reaching new heights each day. I find myself eagerly looking into the box daily, excited to witness the changes, especially around 2 pm when I can observe the growth since the morning. It feels like Christmas morning every day! As always, I'll keep adding daily pictures to document the incredible journey. 8/9/23 - Day 58 - It's been a few days since I have posted. Thats because Shes growing bud like crazy. You can see the plant has focused on growing the buds because the plant has stopped stretching up and started swelling the buds. We have about 3-4 weeks until harvest. This has been the easiest grow of my life. Basically, I add some water to top it off and that's about it. Start of week 6 of flowering. Plant 2, survived last week's heat stress and seems to be recovering well. With the new exhaust fan - vivosun 4 inch, 195cfm - my temps have not exceeded 35°c at any time I've spot checked. Hopefully no more issues or setbacks for the rest of this grow.

Day 8 from the flip. Lst and defoliation thew days ago but already bouncing back and looking beaut ! Added a 600w hps and anticipating some stretch so will Be throwing a scrog over them Stay baked

Week 2 growing new nodes ...

Ok guys we are starting week two of this pineapple chunk strain from Barney's farm. So far everything is looking good and healthy. I gave her her first worm tea and have been stressing her stem with light flicks and slow bends since day 2. I've been increasing the light incrementally every day and it seem to take it all as it comes. I hooked up a diy light mover in the garden increase light impact and decrease possible dead spots in the growing space. All and all it's been a easy week with this strain and everything looks promising so far. Thanks for checking out my grow. Girls have settled into summer camp nicely. Worries about not taking the transplant diminish more each day and I am gaining more confidence in strong roots with each passing day as well. I had to build a supplemental lighting system for the greenhouse. Here at home we are experiencing a wetter than usual summer so far and with that brings clouds. So I needed to do something. So I built a new greenhouse light. It cranks out some light. Currently at canopy I’m measuring around 600 PPFD. Plants are loving it. All three plants sexed and all are females. Didn’t think otherwise. So the formula 707 is performing better than expected. Water retention is crazy. Watered the plants on Sunday with a gallon each , today is Thursday and no water needed. Going to try and get to Sunday for a whole week between watering. *** update, added a short video from 7am this morning. The girls really do like the homemade light. *** update, aggravated just lost an hours worth of data. I’ll come back in a while and do it again. Fu.k *** update, Monday evening 7/21/25 quite a bit to go over so let me go take a toke and we’ll get things started. Hang on. Ok. Girls had a great weekend. The weather was warm with more sunshine than was predicted. All systems are now a go! All three have entered stretch and fear larger than normal plants are in my future. Knowing the nutrients were ready and available went ahead and watered them even though the formula 707 could have taken them a couple of days longer before requiring water. Each plant was watered Sunday with 2 gallons of silica amended, 5 ml per gallon Emerald Harvest sturdy stalk. Now bring on those massive colas. Each plant is showing its own unique characteristics. The 91 Grapes is tall and massive. The Vanilla Fizz is a bush and I think will flower first. The Harvey Wallbanger has yet to produce a leaf that has more than five points, not one, seven point leaf yet. Started doing a little LST today and will try to do some each day to stay caught up on it and the trimming. Gave the pots a thorough soaking on Sunday and don’t anticipate having to water them again until Sunday. If I do have to water them again before then that means I have monster plants that are thirsty.

Getting there... cant wait for Spring Walls are up and painted, floor is laid, electrical all done, exhaust outlets mounted. Ive started to install the trim - I decided to put a grey stain instead of boring paint on the floor trim boards. Looks really solid against the dark bamboo floors. I used two gallons and two coats of flat pure white paint for walls and ceiling. Should give me a reflectivity somewhere around 80%. Some may ask why not opt for mylar? I just dont like the look. I dont care too much for reflectivity, as I will be well above the required watts/sqft with the light setup I will be using. I mounted an electrical receptacle in the ceiling, I thought it may come in handy for cord management. Im going to mount the 3 x meanwell drivers outside of the grow room and run some extra long cables to them. This is to keep heat out of the room, any little bit helps. Will be running a 8inch fan with about 750 CFM in order to properly vent the room. Intake will be a door vent and the negative pressure the fan provides. Odor is not too much of a concern, but may as well add a carbon filter. Tables to be built this week after trim is installed Week 1 Spend - $2080 Week 2 Spend - $350 (mostly on hardware store visits) Total so far - $2430

She is off to a great start. I sprouted her right in the rockwool in the DWC. Looking forward to see what we can make this lady do for us. My tent seems to work best with mature plants in the 36” range although my setup can handle 60” in height the width becomes an issue. I plan to flower her when she is about 16” tall.

Great strain, would recommend. Nice smoke/vapor, friends love it, stupefying and euphoric, no heavy couch lock like heavy indicas. Taste great in The Mighty vaporizer, citrus with a hint of pine.

This bud stinks! The different geno type of the payote cookies is really starting to separate itself from the others with pistrols being longer and thinner but with less tricomb coverage. I’m hoping to see some colour changing on the leaves within the next couple of weeks.

All the ladies are blowing up and it's the beginning of her flowering cycle. These are going to be beasts for autos. All healthy but 1 BB with a little yellow spots on her leaves. But she is still thriving. 19 HOURS ON 5 OFF!!!
