Week 11 Veg - Mentha de Croco Mutants Hello, Grow Diaries fam! 🌱✨ This week’s update is all about setting up for the big transition—we’re finally flipping these beauties into flower! But before we do, I took some important steps to ensure a smooth transition. Defoliation & Why It Matters Before Flower Before the flip, I gave them a thorough defoliation, clearing out lower and overcrowded leaves. Why? Because: More Light Penetration – Helps lower bud sites develop properly. Better Airflow – Reduces humidity buildup and risk of mold. Focused Energy – Encourages the plant to put energy into strong bud production instead of unnecessary foliage. Of course, balance is key—I trimmed enough to open things up but left plenty for healthy growth. Final Pre-Flip Routine • Temps & RH: Holding steady at 22°C with 66% RH, keeping conditions ideal before flower. • 💧 Nutrients: Running the Aptus Holland Clean Feeding Approach with: • Regulator for plant resilience. • RO Water Conditioner to balance pH and improve uptake. • System Clean, even though I’m not using a hydro system, to keep the root zone optimal. • All-in-One Liquid, which is now the primary nutrient source. • 🔄 Watering: Still bottom-watering to keep gnats away and encourage strong root growth. 36-48 Hours of Darkness Before the Flip Before switching the room to 11 hours of light and 13 hours of darkness, I’ll be giving them a 36-48 hour dark period. This technique helps signal the plants that it’s time to transition, leading to a faster and stronger flower initiation. Small plant, no side nodes, just grew a top, guess quite a nice one, just for a top... Prob around 5-ish grams dry... 50-50 ish brown trichomes, I normally don't cut that late

8/2/25 her structure is quite impressive. Bud sites everywhere. Very uniform but also very dense branching. Not overly leafy but just branches absolutely everywhere

Que pasa familia, ya estamos de vuelta y empezamos la primera semana de floración, ya cambiamos el ciclo a 12/12 , y ya marco su sexo, es hembra. Pues seguimos controlando ph, lo bajamos un poco a 6,2 a ver si chupan mejor los nutrientes, temperatura y humedad controlados, siempre dentro de los parámetros correctos, hemos bajado un poco la distancia del foco, ahora en floración lo agradecerán. Así que esto es todo, ya veis que va bien tiene buen color y no hay problema ninguno, nos vemos la semana que viene fumetillas.

Everything looking good this week happy with the vegetative stage with the th Seeds original Bubblegum. Says they are an ibl strain so the genetics should be stable, which is less chance of 10 different phenos ( update me If I’m wrong here, still learning ) Day 54 - today I did the last defoliation and lst 2 days before swith to 12/12. Middle growth was insane so spread them out abit by screwing small screws in to the pot and using the as a tie down Day 55 - all plants seemed to have bounced back the day after and look exactly how I planned so far so good Day 56 - final day of vegetative growth all seems good, all females showing white hairs , have raised the lights and turned Intake to full to maintain humidity levels and switched lights to 12 / 12.

Did some slight training on one plant. Defoliated a couple lower points but overall just letting them do their thing. Got everything locked in at this point. I've got to water daily. Half of the girls already have some color in their pistols! Thanks for stopping by.

So here we go! Another start to something special and another grow off! Always fun. Anyways we have two Pablo's that both popped up through the soil and are on their way. I'm very Interested in seeing how well these genetics perform. They definitely came a long way from overseas so let's see how well the foreign competition is 😉. If their on GD I'm sure they're fire.

Divine Seeds Website says this Auto Candy could be as tall as 100-120 cm. My Auto Candy is 41 inches which translates to 104cm. On POINT. What started out to be a little on the bushy side ended up sprouting up like a teenager. Divine Seeds Website says this Auto Candy should be flowering in 60 days. My Auto Candy is flowering in 42 days--WHY??--Why is it flowering 18 days sooner?? Please advise. Maybe it is this wonderful @advancenutrient jungle juice that I am using:) I do know that the past couple of weeks have been excruciatingly HOT. This week is incredible cool--Thank you Jesus for the break in weather. It will be very interesting to see what this cooler weather does during this flowering season. This week I found fungus gnats I added sticky boards and mosquito bits. A small amount of fading on oldest leaves. I did a small defoliation of the yellow fan leaves. I added bone meal to the top layer of soil and worked it in. Water at 6.5.

Yo guys ... Update for our beautiful Peyote Critical (sister of the two that can be seen in the other diary) ... As the title suggests, she is growing in a super soil, mostly mining rocks, with a 15% of animal derivation (worm / krill) .... The idea is to keep the level of Brix high ... I'm trying ... I know ', the 11 liter pot is a little bit small for a super soil ... but it does not do badly ... The other two are also in a pre-mixed soil, so that they have to give them only h20 .. but with a completely different "recipe" (practically only guano kalong in addition to the soil with worm humus, light mix and coconut) ... Anyway ... she compared to the other two, she is a few days late ... The perfume is very good, more delicate than the others, but practically the same ... Not I can say that it is the composition of the soil that creates differences, because not being clones would not make much sense ..... every seed is still different .....this is also the beauty .... The plant is excellent from all points of view ... we'll see the final result ....still little more than ten days, and we will have to say goodbye .... See you at the next update ....
