03/22 - Night/Daytime shots - Both have grown about an inch since last week and are thriving - I will be running drip lines on them probably by the end of the week for consistency with feeds. 03/23 - They got a little funky on me last week so I fed them both to run off and realized their PPMS/PH where insane!! - Flushed them out hard last night and in less then 24hrs they are already bouncing back - Will stick to just clean water feeds for now - They will begin a low-dosage nutrient feed (Micro-dosing) in about a week.😎😎😎😎😎😎😎

Cherry Cola has brown top leaves but the rest of the plant is doing great. Gorilla Cookies is just that a gorilla already on 3rd tier leaves and thick stalks. Will start LST .

6/6/2023 Week 9- Day 1 of Flower (Day 124 overall) (Day 63 of Flower) Auto Pilot Day 3.. Just watched them be beautiful. I also did a Trichome check today things are moving along nicely. 6/7/2023 Week 9- Day 2 of Flower (Day 125 overall) I admit it I couldn't help it there were some blatant offender leaves blocking the light from some of the canopy buds so they had to go..... and when I took them I found a few more in between leaves that had to go.. so long story short some defoliation did happen.. :-) 6/8/2023 Week 9- Day 3 of Flower (Day 126 overall) Auto pilot re-engaged.. I sat back took some photos and just enjoyed how beautiful this light side and dark side thing the plants are doing The buds are almost as long as my Sharpie. Not doing too bad but the buds aren’t that fat unfortunately. I’ve got 1 nice pheno and the rest just smell fairly floral. I’m sure it’ll be nice smoke but there isn’t anything jumping out at me on this one.

🌿 Woche 6 – The Hobbit Hole Outdoor Grow 2026 Eine weitere Woche ist geschafft und das Hobbit Hole entwickelt sich genau in die Richtung, die ich mir erhofft hatte. Nach meiner Rückkehr aus dem Urlaub konnte ich endlich wieder selbst nach den Pflanzen sehen – und ich wurde definitiv nicht enttäuscht. Am Mittwoch gab es die erste Düngergabe mit Hesi Blüh Complex, da inzwischen alle drei Pflanzen sichtbar in der Blüte angekommen sind. Die ersten Blütenstände werden von Tag zu Tag größer und überall schieben sich frische weiße Blütenfäden aus den Buds. Heute habe ich außerdem Rankhilfen angebracht. Gerade Outdoor weiß man nie, wann der nächste kräftige Wind oder ein Sommergewitter kommt. Bevor später das Gewicht der Blüten zum Problem wird, bekommen alle drei Pflanzen lieber frühzeitig etwas Unterstützung. Aktueller Größenvergleich 🌿 Gelato: 120 cm 🌿 Cinderella: 90 cm 🌿 Purple Punch: 80 cm Besonders spannend finde ich, wie unterschiedlich sich die drei Genetiken entwickeln. Die Gelato macht ihrem Namen aktuell alle Ehre und wächst mit großem Abstand am stärksten in die Höhe. Cinderella und Purple Punch bleiben deutlich kompakter, setzen dafür aber ebenfalls fleißig Blüten an. Erfreulich ist außerdem, dass die drei übrigen Pflanzen bisher nahezu unbeschadet durch die Saison gekommen sind. Bis auf das halbe Blatt, das die Cinderella zu Beginn an eine Schnecke verloren hat, gab es bislang keine nennenswerten Schäden. Der Schneckenschutz scheint also genau das zu tun, was er soll. 🐌👍 Auch die Blätter machen weiterhin einen gesunden Eindruck. Besonders die großen Fächerblätter zeigen inzwischen beeindruckende Ausmaße und liefern den Pflanzen jede Menge Energie für die kommenden Wochen. Jetzt beginnt langsam die Phase, auf die ich mich jedes Jahr am meisten freue. Aus kleinen Blütenansätzen werden nach und nach richtige Buds, und jede Woche wird sichtbarer sein als die davor. Genau deshalb liebe ich Outdoor-Grows – die Natur gibt das Tempo vor und man kann Woche für Woche beobachten, wie aus ein paar kleinen Pflanzen langsam echte Damen werden. When I swapped out fans I accidentally plugged it into the wrong power bar so it has been turning off with the lights.... humidity has still been high..I found 2 colas on a blue dream with budrot, I cut off the colas effected, fixed the fan so it'll run 24/7 again and hoping I get lucky and they are the only 2 I'll have to throw away. One blue dream is fox tailing...I'm not sure if it's heat/light stress, even the lower colas and ones not directly under the light are. It's only on the one plant, the other blue dream has colas closer to light and aren't fox tailing at all.

Great week for the black opium! pink and purple bud all around - her trichomes have started picking up on their production - the smell is an amazing skunky berry (Sometimes even a slight coffee odor) - my neighborhood must be getting some good wiff's. Girl scout cookies probably has one more week of stretch left - did a final final final LST on her yesterday, shes loving the flat canopy - going to create some phat buds! shes got much more nodes than the auto black opium + the internode distance looks like it will allow for really well stacked buds which I am excited for!

What began as two seeds—two phenos with two destinies—has become a garden symphony of light, resin, and patience. Genetic Journey — From Seed to Harvest Pheno #1: Started in veg before flipping; taller, more expressive stretch; structured and vigorous. Pheno #2: Ran 12/12 from seed—shorter cycle, smaller frame, but incredibly dense. Different paths, same destination. Despite the variation, both finished side by side, their trichomes shimmering like frost under the lens. From the very first true leaves to the last amber sparkle, this grow embodied the full spectrum of plant life. Both phenos shared that unmistakable Mango Kush sweetness—fruit-forward, creamy, with earthy Kush undertones that deepen as they cure. 🔬 Trichomes — The Living Resin We harvested with trichomes at about 75 % cloudy, a few ambers scattered, and a few clears clinging on. Why this timing? Cloudy trichomes → peak THC, most psychoactive potency. Amber trichomes → oxidized cannabinoids, deeper body stone, slightly less heady. Clear trichomes → undeveloped, lighter high, harsher burn. By cutting at ~75 % cloudy, we captured the perfect balance between energy and depth—a clean, full-spectrum effect with robust THC, trace CBD, and terpenes locked in their prime. Inside each trichome lives a micro-world of medicine: Cannabinoids (THC, CBD, CBG)—psychoactive and therapeutic agents. Terpenes (myrcene, limonene, caryophyllene)—aroma, flavor, entourage synergy. Flavonoids & esters—color, nuance, antioxidant value. It’s chemistry turned art—and when viewed through the macro lens, pure alien beauty. 🌸 The Harvest — Dense, Loud, and Sticky Both plants produced compact, heavy colas. Pheno #1: 162 g of dry, aromatic medicine. Pheno #2: 129 g—smaller, but louder in terps. Together: 291 g total of crystal-coated Mango Kush bliss. The smell? Explosive. Even the scissors felt high. 🌬️ Dry & Cure — The 60/60 Philosophy We dried the full plants slowly: 60 °F (15.5 °C) and 60 % RH for 14 days. Why 60/60? Because slow drying preserves volatile terpenes and ensures chlorophyll breakdown. Quick drying bakes the aroma; slow drying matures it. The science is simple: lower temperature = less terpene loss, stable humidity = even drying. After the dry, we hand-trimmed every flower using a trim-bin, collecting a rich layer of kief—a golden powder of pure cannabinoids and terpenes. 🔥 Old-School Touch — Hash & Extracts The kief was gently pressed using only hot water, glass, and hand pressure— we also did some old-school charas way. No machinery, no shortcuts. Just heat, touch, and patience. From this we crafted a small hash bar—soft, aromatic, pure. We also explored extractions with BHO/Rosin, carefully purging over three weeks until perfectly stable. Both concentrates now rest in the fridge—preserved at low temperature, rich in flavor and medicinal potential. 💨 Smoke Report — Smooth, Sweet, and Deep The first taste is soft and silky. Mango sweetness rolls in, followed by that earthy Kush finish. Inhale: Fruity and fresh. Exhale: Creamy, grounding, slightly spicy. Effect: Uplifting at first, melting into a serene, full-body calm.
