Super excited to be doing GG#4 s1 . Greenpoint has been really impressive as of late gaining steam. I will be using strictly Diablo nutrients for this grow so I'm confident it's gonna be dank .
I prop'd this in a whole batch of seeds , but because I wanted to my diaries seperated I will use the same info I had for the other seeds in the same room , same time :
* One difference here was one of the tap roots was all twisted in a knot, although I was able to get them both safely into their pots . I gotta say it was a strong tap root !! Good start guys .
Germination method as follows:
1. Open the packs up, get them into a 60 mil water container.
2. I use unbalanced tap water because it seems to produce the best results. In the past I have tried pH balancing and using that water at like a 6.2ph , I have the best luck with just straight tap water + less that a .5 ml per liter.
- tap water temp is @ 22.4°c w/225 ppm
3. After 2 hours in water I was able to get them to sink to the bottom .
4.Leave in a dark area , in this case I use a drawer .
5. Leave them in the water for 12-24 hours.
6. They were in the water for 12.5 hours before being transfered to paper towel.
7. Place seeds carefully into a Ziploc bag , then place them in a dark area .
8. The dark area had a min / max 22.° c min - 25.7°c , 48-54% humidity .
9. Check paper towel every 12 hours to see the progress.
I had no doubt that these beans would got 100% germ rate .
Ps. Used bounty brand paper towel & Ziploc " medium" bags .
This week was easy breezy .
Had them in a dome , within 72 hours in soil they were completely cracked open .
They are starting to get a little stretched out, but nothing too concerning . Week isn't done yet I'll have more updates !
I'm noticing on the right side of the leaf a little bit of whiteish spoting . So these are gonna get transplanted+ more food to remedy that . I'm thinking a increase of CALMG will do the trick !!!
End of week 1 left me satisfied, the stretch gave me a few inches below the soil to get some nice air movement .
No to much to report yet , both girls are happy and they look the same ( at this time !)
Just the start of week 2 and these girls have shown why the real gorilla glue is such a delight to run .
Explosive growth paried with short fan leaves are sure to make this nice for SOG set ups . Only the start of the week so stay tuned for more notes ! Well as you can say these are about as homogeneous as plants can be ! Exactly the same at this time . That is a very rare occurrence now days .
** There are some bent / drooping fan leaves , nothing to worry about I just had them too close together .
So as this week goes on their will be more and more notes .
They are a true S1 , the width of these girls are growing by mass each day and the height is staying low . Making this strain ideal for the Screen of green !
They will go into a larger pot as they are showing roots out the side of the solo !
They went into a 1/2 gallon pot , then recieved 700ml @623 ppm at time of transplant.
#2 has some waving leaves , never seen that before but I don't see anything wrong with it .
It also seems to have longer skinny leaves opposed to #1 . Nothing to worry about just an observation.
At the end of week 2 they are starting to pray , making me proud !! Starting to show slight Differences in morphology but nothing to noticeable, will watch for differences as they come up !
Before anyone says it , yes I know this is not fIMing, started to run out of room , so this is a fairly well known technique, I don't do it on every grow, but this time it made sense to open up airflow and get some light into this girl ***
*** As I did this on all my plants , I'm gonna call this '''Tipping''' maybe the term will catch on .
I will be taking the bottom parts for clon soon as we aren't far from flower !!!
These are extremely homogeneous, like twin sisters !!!
I have never had the "original" gorilla glue #4 . This will be interesting for me for flavor and taste !
Stay tuned!
So these girls seem to be telling me " put me in a bigger spot!!"
But day by day it is absolutely shocking how much they are growing .
---As I am doing these for multiple diaries, this section will be posted to all similar diarys ( plants in same environment)
***This will become a very cool diary , full of tons of training fun.
This week's goal is to keep them as short as possible. Try to restrict lateral growth with minimal training.
Then next step they will all but put in autopots, once @ 1 week post transplant. Things will really get interesting. High stress, LST , topping, the whole 9
These girls are TWINS structure is nothing short of extremely impressive!!!
Start of week stay tuned for more notes !!!
These girls have the most impressive structure, one of them is by far the BEST structure I have EVER seen. It's one of those things you would like to mix into you lines to get them buds fat .
So far that and being so close together in growth height & size , are what I'm most impressed about !
*** In future weeks once in flower , they will have videos where I show exactly what I am doing , what things look like , and what I notice .
Lateral branches , nice spacing between bud sites on the branches . Can't wait to get them into flower. I can see again they are telling me " transplant me" I have another 7 days before root lock is gonna start coming in play . No rush no worries just something to watch for !
For sure need to make sure I lock down a clone off these , I will let you know if it likes to be cloned !!!
Will be moved soon to where they need to be . Into 15L pots, supported with some good ol' tomato cage . "If it ain't broke .... Don't ask me to fix it !!!!! Lol 🤣".
They are reaching upwords at an accelerated rate taller like a tree not smaller like a bush . So that actually makes putting on the tomato cage late a little bit easier !
These girls got their transplant into the Auto pots /15L, they are just getting the roots started before I hook up the system.
Running in a 16 pot auto system!
So these girls have started to explode , they were one of the first ones to get into their new home , so they are LOVING life right now.
The goal for this week :
Attach all shoots to the tomato cage ,
- get them ready for flower 🌹🌹🌺!!
I'm still working on getting a better set up for pictures, although they aren't in the best spot for pictures they are EXTREMELY happy with they lighting !!! position.

Find all about the nutrients that fuel this grow
So I was just putting a note in their that when I was doing the video the temperature the leaves were slightly wilted . This was just do to a temperature.
Well the flower week is finally upon us they are getting a huge block opening up the canopy exposing Bud sites letting the wind blow through those beautiful structures. I will have more updates as the week goes on stay tuned.
I took ALOT off , I know , I know , lots of people will say , what the heck is this grower doing ?!? Well all I can say is
..........
WAIT .
This ain't my first rodeo.
Pictures will follow ,
Why did I get rid of all the leaves ?
1) increase airflow
2) increase light to bud sites
3) to prevent mold .
So many times I have done this and everytime, I ask myself , was it too much ???
A week later the plant will have pretty much , somehow, grown all the leaves back !!! You will have to wait and see just like me !!!
This girl is just as healthy as can be !
I'm guessing it is going to be a long flower. For this one just judging and comparison to the rest of the flowers in the garden.
She has some really long thick big old leaves on her but not too many of them so ideal for air flow.
It is just the start of week too so aside from it being extremely healthy and vigorous not too much to report.
This week I am going through and pulling the large fan leaves off , she is a slow flowering plant so I'm just doing my best to be patient with her !!! A true gem with an unique structure !!!
I think this girl is gonna be a 10 week flower , she is just starting to get smaller flower spots . Still a beast !!
Added a CO2 bag directly above the canopy , added a 150 watt "blurple" light above GG#4 S1( number 2)
More picture notrs and videos to follow !!
